Everything went well, we had a pearl necklace and bracelet restrung, not an easy task. It was done well, in a timely manner, and affordable.

Family owned jewelry store with friendly service. My friend also found his fiancee a lovely ring at a great price.

They do poor workmanship, then they are rude when you take it back. But they can fix it for another 300 dollars. Stay way from them.

I brought in a diamond necklace that didn't hang quite right, it keeps facing the wrong way. The girl said she knew just what new setting would fix the problem. I was happy. I waited for months until I got the call that it was ready. It wasn't right. The new setting just kept the diamond from sliding back and forth along the chain, it didn't keep the diamond from turning backside-front. And now the chain has been cut and soldered to a fairly plain basket setting, in comparison to the sleek and sophisticated original setting. You know the bumper sticker around town that says "Keep Salem Lame"? Well, I feel like now I have a lame necklace, courtesy of Salem's most visible jeweler. The employee insisted that "the misunderstanding" was on my part, not the store's. Whatever, I still can't wear the necklace, hundreds of dollars later. (I've been going to jewelers for decades without this kind of problem; I won't go to Vernon's ever again. I waited a long time to make this review because I was trying to just forget about it, but the necklace was an anniversary gift and I hate that it is ruined.)

One week, no call. I call them, leave a message. No call. I finally get someone when I call, week two, and the woman tells me it would be very expensive to shorten. I ask when I can come get it. She will call me back. No call, three weeks. I leave a threatening message that I will be coming in and if I don't have my bracelet my next stop will be the police. Show up, no bracelet, relay my concerns. Young woman says it's in a locked office that she can't enter. Fine, get a call back that it's ready, go in and collect my bracelet. Three weeks to one month. During this I notice my voucher says "anything left longer than 60 days will be considered abandoned". So that's the scheme, I guess. Wonder how much merchandise there is ill gotten goods. Watch out, Salem, another disreputable store owner. On alert: Salem PD.

Okay, so I went and grabbed a drink and snack and then went back to wait, I was the only person in line. At 2:03 when the pharmacy opened back up a pretty big crowd had formed, but I was first in line and thought nothing about it. Boy was a I wrong. The male pharmacist decided to call every elderly patient (3 of them) before me. Not that they had been there before me or anything, just because that's what he wanted to do. Finally, at 2:30 it's my turn. They say my prescription wasn't called in. Awesome. Show back up the next day in the drive thru, cause you'll never catch me inside again. The lady said they had the prescription but that they hadn't filled it because they didn't have my insurance info? What?!?! I was just there at the end of May...you had it then, what happened to it? So I told the female that my insurance is the exact same and has not changed. She then tells me she needs to see if they have enough pills because she doesn't think that they do....its 10 pills! She came back and informed me that they do in fact have enough to fill it but then tells me I will have to come back in a few hours... what on earth? Then on 8/15 I call in a prescription refill that I will run out of on 8/19. They tell me I cannot call it in more than 2 days in advance...so I call today on 8/17 and I'm told that they're so busy they don't know if they'll have filled in time (8/19). This pharmacy location is the very definition of you can't fix stupid. The fact the front door cashiers are more competent, friendly and doesn't ignore customers is a sign maybe they should be the one to train these overpaid pharmacists. Just a thought

1-STAR IS WAY TO HIGH…read more This review is specifically about the Walgreens Pharmacy on River Road, Keizer OR. (I am hoping not all Walgreens are this bad.) For the most part the staff is friendly and helpful, although there have been times when staff members act like you are inconveniencing them when asking a question. Rather, I believe this is a STAFFING / CORPORATE PROBLEM. When a doctor calls in a Rx, it shouldn't take more than 3 days to fill it, nor should the customer have to call in for a status update because they haven't heard anything. When a customer uses the automated voice system to call in a refill, the same customer shouldn't have to call back 5-days later looking for a status, only to get the ridiculous automated system with the ever so helpful message of "we're still working on it". For me, the final straw was when I called 5x over the course of 7-hours (10:47a, 11:54a, 12:04p, 2:58p, 3:23p, and 6:17p) and waited for 34, 16, 2, 11, 3, and 13 minutes respectively, looking to speak with a pharmacist to get an update, but instead getting the useless automated system saying "I'm sorry, our staff is answering other calls', or, my personal favorite "There are more then 3 callers ahead of you". If you are that busy, hire more staff. If you can't find staff in the local area, have someone from another store cover and pay them a travel stipend. If you are overwhelmed because of recently onboarding Rite Aid customers, then temporarily pause accepting new customers for a brief period of time. (Of course, we all know if the option were to make $1 profit vs. inconveniencing 100's of customers, Corporate would choose the profit.) Patients shouldn't have to call, and be subjected to that silly automated phone system, just to track down a pharmacist, to get a prescription that was placed 5-days prior. If I ran my customer service business this way, I'd lose all my customers. DO BETTER WALGREENS.
