Before I went in, I called the owner, Ron, for some information. He told me to bring in our coins and he'd take a look at what we had. Prior to this, I had done some research and purchased a couple of books to try to get a rough approximation of what the coins were worth, but wanted to get a professional opinion. Ron definitely knew his stuff; he's been into coins since he was a kid, and his knowledge was very apparent. He went through my coin inventory, gave me prices he'd pay if we were interested in selling, talked shop for a bit, and didn't charge me a dime. If we do decide to sell anything, he'll be the first place I go. And if you're interested in buying, he has a nice inventory of coins for purchase. In fact, I'll be going back in one of these days to buy a few things to add to my collection.

This has happened to me personally 3 times. They will give you one extra day but if you can't make it down the very next day, you lose your stuff. And even if you can make it down, they will not refund you the extra interest you are automatically charged. Do not go here if you want to actually see your electronics, jewelry, etc ever again. Plus the owner is extremely rude and acts as if you are putting him out by demanding your merchandise when they were closed two weekdays in a row without notice. the sneakiness and down right under handed behavior of this place makes me want to write this…read morereview to make sure another honest person doesn't get taken in by their lies. we purchased a laptop from a private party, unfortunately it was 1 number off from the serial number of another computer that was reported stolen. when we went to pick it up, the lady who was too busy playing angry birds reluctantly helped us. she looked up the ticket and said to give her the money, i gave her the cash and then she said, sorry you have to contact the police about your laptop. knowing that there was no problem, i said ok, i know its not stolen so i will take care of it with the police, and asked her for a receipt. she refused to give me a receipt for the money i had given her. that seems very fishy to me. then when i called the police and gave them the case number she had given me, they said there was no such case number. sounds to me like they sold my laptop, took my money and now think they have gotten away with it. i have reported it to the police and have contracted an attorney. please think twice about using this resource. there are many reputable places in salem that have been around for many years that will treat you with respect and legally. if my accusation turns out to be wrong, i will report it here, otherwise-be careful.
