This place is below average. I waited at my table tonight for 20 minutes just for the server to never come and serve the tables around me. The hostess with white strips in her eyelashes was very rude and refused to tell me the name of the server that was supposed to be helping us. Overall 0/10. read more

My daughter suggested this place a few weeks ago when we couldn't find a place for brunch. This place is awesome, food and service are very good. We had mimosas (strawberry, watermelon and pineapple), they were really good! We tried the grilled shrimp tacos and grilled oysters, delicious. We've been back every weekend since. I definitely recommend Botica, but make a reservation if you can, they fill up fast! read more

Visited on a taco Tuesday after seeing an Instagram post. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to eat any tacos. Sat at the bar in front of the last guests garbage for too long. No greeting no eye contact. Never mind, plenty of other places to go. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. This was one of the worst meals I've ever had in Atlanta. We live right down the street and had been really excited to try this new spot out. We started with chips and salsa. We each had only 1 chip. The menu said everything is made from scratch. I guarantee that's not true. The chips were worse than store bought. They were cold, thick, unsalted cardboard cutouts. The salsa was ice cold and tasted like it was poured right from a jar of Pace. We each ordered 3 tacos on corn tortillas. The tortillas were so dry, we could barely swallow them. I ended up eating the insides with a fork. The grilled shrimp taco only probably had 1 shrimp in it, diced into the smallest pieces. The carne asada was so dry it was almost like jerky. I got the pork pibil taco, which was the best of the three. I also don't like they tack on gratuity, so you can't decide on your own tip. Also, there was a man playing a violin while walking around the restaurant. He stopped at our table multiple times, and stood there playing. It was very uncomfortable and awkward. The music in general was also so loud we were shouting at each other across the table, and could hear everyone around us speaking loud, trying to speak above the music. The lighting was cafeteria bright, and not inviting at all. I will never eat here again. read more

Food is meh and service is bad. Waiter apologized and brought shots (we didn't want them) and service never got better. That was after 20+ minutes of waiting for a waiter. I had to go inside and ask for one. And the kicker?? They add 20% gratuity. read more

Pleasant experience on both of my visits. can't go wrong with tasty queso and margaritas, especially with outdoor seating!

Went there last night for burger week for the Buck Burger. Waiter Juan was super nice in fact everyone was nice. But, he suggested a trio with chips which we took but he neglected to state all was A' la carte so chips ,salsa, quac and queso ended up being $30 not cool...Buck's Burger was terrible Bun not toasted, meat medium rare instead of medium, egg on top more scrambled then whole. Needless to say we were done. I was looking forward to trying Wed. Paella... Gonna skip it now...Nice place, good vibes I wish it had been better food wise...Oh, he did get his 20% tip..I do believe in tipping well But....... read more

My wife and I had a date night where we went see the Bansky art exhibit at Underground Atlanta. We left there to look for a spot to eat around 7 pm and passed by Botica. It looked very nice with outside seating overlooking Peachtree Street; so we stopped in. The atmosphere was very upbeat and the clientele was a mix of 30ish young people and a a smattering of us well above that age but still stylish. We asked to be seated on the patio and they took us directly to a great table adjacent to the street. Our waiter introduced himself as Juan but we later came to realize he called himself "One". He was great and attentive. My wife had the fried lobster tail and she ordered a shrimp taco and a fish taco. I had the mussels and a lamb taco. The food came out quickly and the lobster tail was beautifully prepared with fried potatoes. It was a decent size and tasted very good, though my wife said it was a little salty. She really enjoyed her fish and shrimp tacos. My muscles were very good in a creamy broth. My lamb taco was good and it had a very Indian cuisine flavor which was good. I don't think I'd order it again but it was good and different. "One" suggested the bread pudding for desert. We ordered it and it's presentation was beautiful as well. The flavor was good as it had pineapple baked in. It was more bready than typical bread puddings (that's not to say it's a better texture; just different) and it had a delicious vanilla ice cream on top. There was a lot of caramel drizzle over it so we'd probably order it with the carmel on the side and two scoops of ice cream next time. The patio atmosphere was was perfect, the evening weather was perfect, my beautiful wife was perfect and the entire experience was a five star experience. My only issue was they added a 20% gratuity on my bill. I'm a great tipper and I'm always disturbed when that happens because it tells me the waiter doesn't think I'll tip well. I should have said something but I didn't want to mess up a perfect evening. So, I added more to the tip and we tipped out. read more

If you're looking for a cool vibe, good music and drink this is the place to be. But if you want good food look the other way....

Went on a Friday night with the girls! Sandra margarita. Spicy Tim, but not too spicy. Nice refreshing watermelon based drink with a nice piece of watermelon. Also had the condesa drink-pineapple and tequila based. I love that combination. Both were summer in a glass...and while sitting on the patio with the summer breeze...it was perfect. Good amount of people, nice table with view of tv screens (I want to come back here and watch a game!!). Food...chips, salsa, queso. Quest was a little too thick, salad was good enough, guac was a touch spicy. Chips were warm, fresh, and crisp!! So the combination worked. Tacos. Lamb Burris taco. Get it. Eat it. Love it. Savory, tasted like it took hours to make, flavorful. Would get again! Would also get the crispy fish taco. Slaw was perfect. I did the lamb taco on flour tortilla and the fish on corn tortilla. I would do that combo again. Our server was Juan. He did a great job! I like Botica! read more

Not a fan of tacos but good queso. Waiters were nice too but the tacos could've been a little better

If I could give this review over a 5 I definitely would! Tyler was OUTSTANDINGG!!!!! He went over everything and had very good customer service. When you come in please ask for TYLER! If there was more servers like him every place would be amazing! BEST SERVER EVERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! Food, drinks, service everything was great!!!!! read more

This place is lively to put it simply. The food is amazing. The service is good. And the atmosphere make me want to start watching sports and drinking beer!! read more

I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for some time and today we went! We did not make reservations for a Sunday, however, the staff welcomed us at the bar. The drinks were great and the bartender was awesome. We ordered the wedge salad 2 tacos and Chilaquiles Fiesta. The chilaquiles was not what was described on the menu nor the website. We shower the pic on website and they told us it was a stock photo. Soo I would only recommend this restaurant for the cocktails and vibes. The food is only stock photos!! read more

Very cute place, pretty good food but the waiter only came around like 4 times so our bottomless mimosas reached the bottom very often. Also the portions were a bit small read more

It's just not good. The food was sub par, the drinks were too, it's not worth it at all

Girl bartender with tattoos on right arm is rude. Other bartenders are super nice and welcoming. She catches attitude for no real concrete reason which isn't good for business. You shouldn't treat customers with a stank attitude, it will get you no where. read more

This is by far one of the most amazing restaurants I have been to in a very long time. What a welcomed addition to the Buckhead Community. I heard so many great reviews prior to my visit, but I could not have been more pleased. So many wonderful things to consider: Food quality / Drink Quality / and Quality of Service! I give them all a 10 out of 10. If you are looking for a wonderful night out with friends or a date - look no further, this is the place for you. read more

I don't typically write reviews, but my experience at Botica was noteworthy. It was refreshing to go to a restaurant where you could genuinely tell they care about your experience. From the hostess, to the manager, to the bartender, you could tell they wanted to make sure that you enjoy dining there. My bartender was Gio, who was knowledgeable about the menu and gave me some great recommendations. The pomegranate margarita and the Texas marg are both fantastic. Also, the habanero guacamole, carne asada taco, lamb taco, and barbacoa taco all were exquisite. My favorite was the barbacoa, perfectly cooked and balanced on corn tortillas. Don't sleep on this spot read more

Cool Vibes and Cool place to grab a drink and hang out the Watermelon Margarita definitely Delicious and was the My Favorite. Food wise was Not immediately impressed I mean presentation was good flavors ok but the huge selection of Mex restaurants in Atlanta wasn't anything that blew my mind read more

Came for a birthday dinner, appetizers were next level! The service was great and loved the vibe!

We booked a reservation on open table which was confirmed by the restaurant and when we got to the door they said they closed for the day for a private event. Literal waste of time and gas to drive to the location and unprofessional to not let guest know ahead of time you'll be closed. Very inconsiderate as multiple guest were turned away read more

Tiktok deff had an impact on me coming here. But I liked it overall. They have a great ambience for the most part. Staff is supper friendly and their boomtless mimosa to die for. This is the main reason I actually came lol! Brunch menu kind of limited though but they have more of a variety on their actual menu. Would recommend if you want a nice brunch vibe. Gets super packed so make reservations early. read more

Cocktails were good and food was ok Mexican food. The service was slow - could be because it was busy. Look forward to going back in nicer weather to sit outside. read more

This place is sooooo good. Friendly staff and atmosphere. One of my new favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. Would highly recommend.

I'm giving this place three stars. Good food, weird environment. Each part of the restaurant is a different vibe- but that isn't the weird part. The weird part is how loud the music is- and the music in general. Same 6 electric dance o op songs on repeat (aka David Guatta) - some with words some without. Anyways. Enjoyed the food read more

Love this place. The food is amazing, and there are vegetarian options. Portions are not overwhelming. Everything is fresh. The staff, especially Leo and Maria and professional and friendly. There are a ton of TV's, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, this isn't it. In fact, the noise level on Saturday afternoon was almost too much. This is a new go to place in the neighborhood. Mac n' Cheese, Jalapeno Corn, veggie quesadillas, spanish omlette, wedge salad - all huge hits! We went twice in 3 days! read more

So so so so so good. Best fish / shrimp tacos in Atlanta for sure. The drinks are also amazing, and the ambience is a plus.

Great patio! Everything is appropriately social distanced and the service was outstanding. The manager, Antonio, was very welcoming and hospitable. The food was delicious. Try the chicken chilaquiles with green sauce and the spicy margarita! Bottomless mimosas were great too...my glass was never empty. read more

My wife and I have been wanting to check out this place since they announced it was coming late summer! We finally made our way over this evening -- a quick walk from Brookwood Hills. The vibe in this place is awesome. A great place to come watch sports (what felt like 50 flat screens everywhere) and enjoy an evening with friends, or in our case -- date night. They had awesome live music (which apparently they do every Friday and Saturday night!). We started out with the queso con chorizo and Mac and cheese as appetizers. The queso was on point--and the Mac and cheese was super cheesy, and the best I have had in a Mexican restaurant. I had the pork pibil and grilled shrimp tacos on flour tortillas, and my wife had the lamb birria and crispy fish on corn tortillas. All four were excellent--would definitely order all four of these again, as they were packed with flavor. I can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy their patio! read more

was very excited to have this place near, as we used to eat at Watershed every now and again. it has outdoor seating which is a huge plus due to COVID and the nice weather. it was obvious they were not very committed to distancing bar stools or tables. They were way too close. And you could not enter without coming face to face with people leaving the restaurant. That was not a deal-breaker, as we were excited to be out and on our way to some margaritas. Expensive drinks for what they are $13 margarita without much tequila or flavor. I really wanted to love the place, but the food was also very lack-luster, and dry- maybe that is intentional, who knows?. the service was nice but definitely upsold us to what we thought was a trio of salsa. I asked him to describe it and he did not mention the word cheese or guacamole which i knew would be more expensive. I only heard salsas, so i was surprised when cheese dip and guac showed up with the salsa, but we went long with it, until the bill game. They bowls were small and basic. Including 20% tip without authorization for a family of four is why my husband does not want to return. We always tip well, but it is not a tip if you add it in the bill, it is a service charge. the whole origin of that rule is so waiters do not get slighted if there are split checks, no? We both waited tables so we understand why it applies to large parties in a young, and hectic restaurant. We cant figure out how are bill was so high with 3 cocktails and a 9 & 10 year old? Most of the reason a family goes out for mexican, is b/c it is affordable. And if it is not affordable, it needs to be stand-out food or scenery. It just was neither of those.Just far better ways to spend our $$$. they have so many big screen tv's in there, and it is soooo loud, that it feels like a sports bar. I am assuming this is targeting a younger crowd, but surprised younger people can afford the prices. The tacos are not expensive, but they are lack-luster (the pork was ok) . Food lacking flavor ans so dry!!!. The $25 for very small bowl of picante, guac and white cheese dip blows my mind. If they change their strategy, we will give it another try, but we feel we did not get near what we paid for. Oh well. read more

This place is just okay. Parking is easy. Be sure to bring your license plate number in for free validation. Our waitress was friendly and informative. The food was served quickly. We ordered chips and salsa, wings, a burrito, a taco, and a round of drinks. The chips are great, but the salsa tasted like tomato paste. It definitely was not made with fresh ingredients. The shrimp taco was served cold with lots of avocado ranch...all the cold flavors blended and made it tasteless. The salmon burrito was just okay. My husband loves salsa, so he didn't enjoy it as much as he would have with good salsa. Oh, we tried the jalapeño corn which was tasty and the mac and cheese was decent. The margaritas were good. The waitress suggested we order from the tequila menu and upgrade to make it a margarita...great suggestion. The wings were good, but you can tell they are sitting in back and warmed when ordered (the restaurant touts everything being made fresh to order). Appetizer prices are fairly high for the portion sizes. Automatic 20% gratuity added to all checks- just a heads up. Overall, okay. We may try it again. read more

My experience at Botica was horrendous and I will never be returning. I made a reservation, but when I arrived, they seated me right away without asking about a reservation, which seemed like a good thing at the time. We were not seated outside as we had reserved because it was clear there were no tables available outside. Our waitress virtually ignored us unless we specifically requested her, and we watched countless tables come in after us and receive their food before us. The food there was very good but not worth the extremely high prices being posted. A 20% gratuity was automatically applied, so we couldn't express our dissatisfaction through a tip. Additionally we found the cocktails expensive, and to add insult to injury, the liquor tax was not included in this price, so we saw this additional charge on the check. We couldn't even finish our cocktails because they added way too much salt to the rim, which made it into the drinks and made them way too salty. We chocked it all up to good food but a horrible experience, but at least we tried it. Then that same night, they reported to open table that we did not show up for our reservation, so that it is 1 strike against us on open table that we now have to dispute. I would NEVER recommend this restaurant read more

I was so disappointed in my experience today. I saw this restaurant on TikTok and was very excited to try the bottomless mimosas and food. We got our mimosas and they were wonderful but we had to wait TWO HOURS just to get an entree and was told by the waiter another waiter must've grabbed our food. We were then asked did we want free shots for the inconvenience. I WOULD LIKE MY FOOD. After speaking with the manager we got our food immediately and was told our food would be compensated. Which I really appreciated and we would receive a dessert as well. After placing our dessert order we waited an additional 30 minutes for the dessert and got so frustrated that we ended up leaving without our free dessert. The food and mimosas were wonderful but this place needs to be more organized. I came here from another state and wanted to get the brunch experience and it did not meet up to my expectations please do better! read more
