Overpriced, the food was below average, like way below. They include 20% mandatory tip, which makes the service below average as well.

The environment was nice. The food somewhat mediocre. If I do return it will be for bottomless mimosas and I would eat before hand.

Food was good but way too expensive for what they were serving. The quality of the ingredients were good but portions are small and disappointing. It has a similar menu to that of other tex-mex restaurants but almost double the prices. Also there is a 20% service fee on ALL tickets.... wish they would just include that in the price... read more

Came here for lunch with some friends and everything either tasted good or looked good. We all commented on how fresh the ingredients were and how every spice or sauce used was used deliberately by a professional chef. Definitely will be back again very soon. read more

Very disjointed. Terrible service, had to ask multiple times for refills, condiments, etc...my friend ordered the chicken fajitas and only the sides came out. All others in our party were nearly finished with their food before the chicken portion of the fajitas made it out. A joke. And, to top it off, gratuity is included regardless of party size. Complaining to the manager will get you no where. Do yourself and your wallet a favor: go somewhere else where they will appreciate you as a customer. read more

Botica restaurant is a vibe. Drinks are great, food is meh! If i go again it would be for the atmosphere. They had live music which was nice. I had the oysters which was over priced and not good at all. That was my fault tho, ordering seafood at a restaurant where that is not their forte. The tacos were decent but nothing to go back for. read more

YUM!!!!! This has to be one of the best experiences I've had since ATL Opened back up from Covid. AWESOME server, manager came by to check on us, great atmosphere. Last but not least, the food and mimosas Were amazing!!!!! I will be back!!! read more

This is one of the best Mexican/Spanish restaurants in Atlanta. It opened January 1, 2021. We are so happy to welcome them to our neighborhood. read more

Botica - Steak nachos - Mexican Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Really fun ambiance and vibe. My lamb birria taco was alright, nothing crazy. But my hot wings, grilled oysters, and Margaritas were fantastic. I can't remember her name but my waitress had a short haircut w a bit of color and she provided great service. read more

Botica - Lamb birria. Im from California so Im a harsh judge of authentic tacos but everything else was great. - Mexican Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Pros: Clean, Validated parking Cons: everything. Portions are horrible and they charge you for every little thing including sour cream and chips and salsa. They have tap beer but when we ordered beer we were given cans. When we asked for tap beer we were given cups of the canned beer. The chicken on the fajitas seemed like Tyson chicken strips. 0/10 for Mexican authenticity. I would NOT recommend if you are looking for a true Mexican cussing experience. read more

I normally do not leave reviews or posts about restaurants, but I've never had such a bad experience in a restaurant in my life. I'll try to break down and make it as brief as possible. I'll start with the service: - When we got there, the hostess being super rude told us they needed 8 people at least to sit us at our reserved table. This is understandable some places have these type of policies. By that point there were already 6 of us, so they offer to sit us at another table... and told us as the other guest arrive, they would add more tables & chairs as necessary (we all thought that was more work for them, but who are we to tell them how to run their business). - The waiter was very slow and most of our orders were wrong. The waiter gave the impression of being inexperienced of handling a party of 12 (which seven of us have worked or still work in the service industry). Although the service was slow, we kept our patience because the server was very nice initially. It wasn't until our orders started coming out wrong that the server started showing aggravation towards us over his own mistakes. This repeated itself again when the check were delivered with wrong items listed, as well as items not ordered - It took them 45 minutes to bring our first 6 drinks, while we waited for the rest of our party. When the drinks were delivered to the table, the drinks were watered down as if they've been sitting at the bar for some time. As well as poorly made. I asked the waiter, why it took so long for the drinks to come out and he blamed the bartender. Meanwhile another of my friends when to the bar to order our second round drinks and the bartender apologized to us cause we had a really slow server. To be more specific, I ordered a crystal mojito, it wasn't made properly, bartender wasn't definitely not trained to make that drink. When the whole issue irrupted a bartender and "supposed" owner took offense when we gave feed back on the drinks and service. The "supposed" owner/bartender who goes by "Mina" told me "to suck it" right after telling us "to go somewhere else cause he has one of the most popping restaurants in the City". -As for food we ordered wings and the trio which were OK. For the main course I had 3 tacos (shrimp, carne asada & barbacoa) they arrived cold and over an hour after we order them. To be honest I do not recommend this place to anyone. At least not during dinner time on a Sunday night... In general this was a very bad experience. Ruined my friends birthday dinner. Atlanta is a city full of great restaurants with great food, drinks and service with good prices and this is definitely NOT one of them. DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON TIKTOK read more

Food was decent but very overpriced. We were going to order the guac and queso and the waiter offered the trio. You would think that the trip wouldn't be all 3 items individually priced. 20% was included which we didn't mind because our waiter was great. Overall, fine but not coming back. read more

Love the location and the vibe! Service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. The burrito was a little salty and the portions were very small for the price. Would return for a good meal with a good game (TV set up is amazing!) and the hot churros! read more

Food and the only drink I got to try was awesome. (Steak nachos and a Paloma) the reason why I'm giving this place only 2 stars is because of the service we received. Tell me why when I ordered a jagerbomb the server made a face and said that drink was nasty, that I should've tried aguardiente instead. We were kinda vibing with him so I didn't take it personal you know, I told him I don't drink that that I wanted a jager. Food came out, we were satisfied with the food, he came back again in like 2 minutes and we asked for napkins and while he was trying to get a nacho the fell on the table my friend reminded him abt the jager which he proceeded to ignore or probably he didn't hear i don't know, I still wondering that part. We ate, drink never came out, we wanted to try few more mocktails, tell me why he never came back to check on us, at that point we just wanted to pay and go. When we asked one of the runners to get our server, I asked him "hey where's the jager" and he said "you really wanted it" ????!!! Like sir. I said "ofc you thought I was messing about it? I did want the drink. He said "ok so the check and a jager?" I told him "no, just the check, I don't want the drink anymore" at this point we just wanted to go. Because why would you tell me it was nasty and the never bring it out to the table, you can't tell that to a guest. And because of that service, they don't be selling, they don't care about the bill going up and not just that, the tip too since is already included. Restaurant was slow, thought it was busy and that that's why it was taking him too long, but not really, we were sitting in the patio that's why we couldn't tell if he was busy or not until I decided to go to the bathroom and noticed the place being slow. Would I come back? Probably not. I was very disappointed. Also, I didn't even finished my meal because I didn't even have water OR him coming back to ask if we would like another drink. read more

How do you say exquisite... oh I just said it. I apologize, that must be the Spicy Sandia I recently finished. Whoever crafted that cocktail, I love you long time! I could not stop smacking my lips from all of the flavor and deliciousness being experienced in my mouth. The food was wonderful as well, but I'm primarily going back to have another go at a Spicy Sandia. I am basking in gratitude with my experience here today. read more

Very disappointed - they did not give chips n salsa until we asked. 20% gratuity is ok if we are getting treated and served properly. Food was good but Service was average. read more

THEY DONT DO BOTTOMLESS!!!!!!!! This may sound dumb but we found this place on Tik tok and their website advertised bottomless brunch. So we make a reservation and sit down. They tell us it's $45 for a bottle of champagne.... The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the food was ok and the drinks were good. It's just frustrating that it was a full on bait and switch. read more

My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. Great atmosphere! Cool vibes. The food was excellent, drinks mixed to perfection and the staff was very accommodating! We will definitely be back soon. read more

Great atmosphere! I love coming here with my friends. Their infused cactus jalapeño tequila is AMAZING. And the live violinist is an awesome touch - live music is great but it's nice to see a different twist when you see live singers all the time around town. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Atmosphere is nice. Service was amazing. 3 stars for the food. Horrible! I'm honestly tired of these spots doing the bare minimum. The Hispanic culture is something to be celebrated and the food is amazing... if you're going to open a Mexican restaurant, please respect the culture and do better with the food. read more

Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock we made a reservation on open table. Lively crowd energizing music fun atmosphere. That's where it all ends .Service was poor food was an edible . Extremely overpriced . My husband ordered two tacos. When they finally arrived one was wrong had to take it off the bill. I had the burger . HORRIBLE!!!! extremely over cooked ,dry and over cooked egg on top , salty. It came with 6 squares of potato tasteless.I My expectations were high for such a fun restaurant , we were extremely disappointed read more

My favorite place for dates. The bar is always entertaining, and the tacos are so delicious. I recommend the Lamb and of course the Carne Asada (can't have a taqueria without them), a little pricy, but the staff is very friendly it's almost like family. Very adult atmosphere but kids are welcome. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing service. Bartenders make us feel like family and at home! And the food is so so good. The octopus and wings are great! Again, highly recommend sitting at the bar if allowed. You'll feel right at home. Can't rave enough! read more

ChiChi is the BEST server ever. Great energy and service, he's always on his A game. He's good with large groups too.

Botica is such an experience, I moved closed by and it has been our brunch spot, the food is amazing, the service is impeccable, the drinks, DELICIOUS! And I would like to mention Antonio, who I believe is the manager, always top notch service, with a welcoming smile and going above and beyond to accommodate us and our guests. Thank you! 5 stars because I can't give 10 in here!!!!! read more

Great food! I mean I will definitely be back! 3 hour parking validation and they seat large groups! read more

I saw this Botica as a spot light on the news one morning. Then I started seeing posts all over social media... so I knew we had to check it out. Of all days we thought February 13th for an early dinner for Valentine's Day. I was convinced we would be waiting for ever. WRONG. We booked a table of google for 6:15 and were seated immediately. They had an adorable valentine menu but we just ordered off the regular one. I had falafel taco and breakfast taco with the Mexican rice. My husband had the steak nachos. Not only was the food out quickly but it was delicious. You have the try the smoky salsa ( had a kick) and queso! The service was phenomenal and the whole setting was very nice, from the decor to the music in the background. We will most certainly be returning! read more

Perhaps the best in Buckhead....So did everyone come from Tik Tok?? Lol. We came on a Sunday for brunch. Okay so first they validate parking yay!! There were two of us. When we arrived we were told it would be about a 30-45 min wait. We waited around 20 mins, before finding a seat at the bar. Sitting at the bar was the best thing we could have done. Our bar tender was Lady George and she was amazing! We were greeted and treated with free shots, amazing atmosphere, and amazing service. The food was also equally amazing. I had the Nachos Botica with Shrimp.I enjoyed them. They have many different ways that you can customize your food. My order was wrong, but they remade it and brought it back out in no time. My friend ordered a round of tacos, which she being the taco queen also throughly enjoyed her tacos. She didn't talk to me for about 10 minutes I swear. And last, but not least the #1 brunch item-the MIMOSAS!!!! The mimosas are fire! Bottomless for only $17. Making them I believe one of the cheapest in the city!! And they are not cheap! You will be so happy without a headache. They also offer a wide array of flavors. Straight 5's across the board for this restaurant! If you have not been here, this spot is a must try. I can't wait to come back. read more

I have eaten here 3 times since it opened and am highly impressed at how well organized everything has been for a new restaurant! I expected a hiccup or two and yet the food was perfect! The service is exceptional and the management came by to make sure our experience was to our liking. The drinks are amazing! I started with the Frose and then someone at our table ordered the Old fashioned and the presentation was like nothing I have ever seen before. TV's everywhere and ambience is very soothing. Cannot wait to have a little warmer temps to go out on the large patio with TV's and heaters. I've found a new hangout! read more

This place is pretty cool. The ambiance is nice, they have many TVs inside and outside for sporting events. I orders tacos and my boyfriend ordered a steak quesadilla. My tacos were cold and not all that good which was pretty disappointing but my boyfriend LOVED his quesadilla. Service was not the best. They validate parking! Just know your license plate number. read more

Visited Botica for the first time on 4/08/21. Had a really nice time- food, drinks and service were great! HOWEVER, while I received great service I was left with a sour taste that night because I received a parking ticket for 'not paying for parking.' If you visit beware that you might not only be paying for your tab, but also for a parking ticket! The restaurant has a registration system as soon as you walk in by the hostess table where you input your license plate in to their tablet so I was left baffled as to why I received a citation (several others got citations this same night). I reached out to the restaurant the very next day, spoke to the manager, Mylinh Luu, and she asked if I could come in to drop off the original citation so they could take care of it to which I did within a couple of hours. To my surprise, I received a notice in the mail a month later that now I owed Park Place more money for not paying on time. Contacted the restaurant again and the hostess stated the manager would reach out to me, waited a few days and I had still to hear from her. Decided to go to the restaurant AGAIN on May 26 to talk to the manager since I was never contacted and she took a copy of the notice I received and AGAIN stated it would be taken care of. I wrote her an e-mail on June 7th to confirm it had been taken care of, never got a response from her. I checked on the Park Place system and it still states the citation hasn't been cancelled. At this point I'm stuck paying $50 because Botica failed to take care of their customer after multiple tries. I would have rather paid for this from the beginning if I would have known that they weren't willing to help. I'm aware that the restaurant is busy, but state false information. I'll be sure to let my friends know how unprofessional they can be! Very disappointed to say the least. read more

I was highly disappointed due to the lack of organization. We made a reservation for 230 and was told that we still had to wait another 40 minutes due to them overbooking. To make matters worse the restaurant is scheduled to close at 4 today for a private event, Which allows only 50 minutes to order and eat and we came here for bottomless mimosas. Bottomless mimosas for 50 minutes is not worth the cost. I'm just very disappointed with the entire experience especially since this is my last day in Atlanta and I scheduled to have an Atlanta brunch experience. read more

This was an awful lunch experience. They overcharge for salsa that tastes like a mix of pace picante and ketchup. Quesadilla and tacos were cold and honestly gross. Love the patio seating to go with the Mexican dishes. Nice cocktail selection to complement the menu.
