On Saturday we took a 4 mile walk and then we walked to Botica to get some lovely drinks and some delicious food. Our server Jennifer was so welcoming, kind and attentive. Happy I checked this new spot out! My husband and I came here for a friend's birthday cocktail/dinner hour and we weren't sure what to expect. We learned this spot is a sports bar with a sophisticated Buckhead vibe. Here are our first impression thoughts and recommendations: - COVID protocols are okay. I noticed all the staff was wearing masks, hand sanitizer was provided, social distancing was enforced but on a couple occasions noticed folks walking around with no mask. This may be due the type of people Buckhead attracts (anti-maskers) or wearing a mask is not enforced but it definitely made me uncomfortable. - Service was great! Everyone from the hostess to the waiter were very kind and friendly. - Food was decent! We ordered several items: Tacos (Crispy Chicken, Crispy Fish, Falafel and Grilled Shrimp) which were good tacos but nothing extraordinary. We ordered the Crispy Smoked Wings which like the tacos were okay. Best thing about the wings was the avocado ranch on the side. The Grilled Oysters with the spinach and manchego butter were IT though! This was the best thing we tried and would highly recommend. Overall Botica is solid sports bar with decent food and fun vibe. I saw that Wednesday was paella night and I couldn't get my shoes on fast enough. I was flying solo but dinner for 1 isn't so bad. I started with chips and queso and a glass of wine while I waited on my entree. The queso was filled with fresh jalapeño and had the kick I needed. I was a little disappointed that the Sangria was bottled and not made from scratch but the Spanish red wine I chose made up for it. And the paella was fantastic. The seafood was fresh, the rice was perfectly cooked and it was bursting with flavor. This will be my new favorite Wednesday spot. read more

Very dissatisfied. The queso was really good and I appreciate the minced jalapeños as an option. However for a small cup of mediocre salsa it was $7...? The fish taco was good. However the fried chicken, carne asada and shrimp were terrible. Wayyy to much sauce they were legit inedible. Not to mention the absolutely horrendous service. Our waiter took our order and we never saw him again. Got our food and then didn't come check on us ever again...we ran out of chips and water and just sat there with no help. Finally was able to grab his attention and just asked for the check since I wanted to leave so badly. Food was not good, and the service was terrible... but don't worry they automatically add 20% gratuity to your check even if they ignore you the whole night. I would never come back here. read more

We came in on a Tuesday night. We parked in the parking deck and retrieved a ticket thinking we needed it for parking validation but that's actually not how it works. Do not get a ticket from the parking deck. You go up to the host stand and put in your tag number and they handle your parking ticket. FYI. Nice size restaurant. Good amount of people there. We were seated quickly and sat outside since it was nice out. The problem was that they had the fans blowing which made it much cooler on the patio which also makes your food get colder faster. So we had the queso dip with bacon which I think would've been better if it didn't get cold so quickly. We had the breakfast taco, lamb taco, shrimp taco and the carne asada taco. Not a fan of sauce that has a tomato base on my tacos which they had. Nice size drinks for the price. My rating goes more towards the ambience, service and drinks. Tacos were ok. read more

I came here for brunch at 1:00p on Saturday and they check your temperature upon entering. It wasn't packed. Steady crowd. We sat outside and they practiced social distancing. There were heaters on the patio so it wasn't too cold. We enjoyed bottomless mimosas for $17/person. They were strong. We had great service. The Bucks Burger was great but I could have used more on the burger as far as flavor. My husband enjoyed his nachos and my daughter enjoyed her shrimp and grits although she said while the flavor was good, it could have cooked for 7-10 mins more on high so that the grits wouldn't be so gritty. Overall we will definitely be back when it's warmer to try other dishes. We have tried takeout with their burritos and they were delicious. read more

Just what the neighborhood needed. Best patio setup in Buckhead. A ton of TVs and heaters that make it comfortable regardless of the outside temperature. Food, service, and drinks were all top notch. We hosted my daughter's gender reveal at Botica Restaurant and it was simply an amazing experience!! I don't usually write reviews, but Botica provided such excellent customer service that I felt compelled to take time and share. First of all, I don't live in Atlanta and decided on the restaurant after online searching for restaurants with a covered patio. I never have been there but I took a chance. Johnny called me back and emailed me promptly and was so laid back and accommodating to our requests.We were able to book it for 30 guests with no problem. They were expecting us on the day of the event and allowed us to decorate 1 1/2 hours before the event started. There was plenty of parking in the attached parking garage for all guests. The servers were super friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. They immediately made sure everyone was comfortable, offered water to everyone and began taking our orders for drinks Of course, due to Atlanta traffic and the weather, guests trickled in past the official start time, but the servers were right there keeping up with each guest. The vibe was so chill and relaxed. The orders were accurately taken and food and drinks came out as ordered without us needing to ask for condiments, napkins and straws, etc. The food presentation and taste was on point and everyone said their entrees were good. Several folks ordered the wings and they were excellent.... and everyone raved about the food choices they selected. The ambience was just what we wanted.. an outdoor atmosphere but under a covered porch with televisions and fans. Despite the July heat which was unavoidable, our guest had a great time. Everyone was very nice and I failed to get names of all the kind and friendly staff, but I did get our primary server, Ethan's name. He was such a kind, patient and thoughtful guy and he did everything he could to make the experience wonderful. He was visible at all times and so accommodating to the requests of the group. Every alcoholic drink from the bar looked delicious and tasted amazing! Another gentleman, who may have been the owner, came out and briefly welcomed us and joined us in the celebration. His energy was great. I will stop here but don't hesitate to book Botica for your next group event. We didn't do private dining, but they also have that option available. Went today for brunch. I saw mixed reviews but still wanted to try it out. I can honestly say it was pretty good! It was packed but it was the 4th of July so I'm not completely surprised. I made a reservation and they sat me right away. Got the bottomless mimosas and they pour very generously there. Also my waitress always was on the money. She kept refilling our glasses super quickly without us having to ask. As for food we started out with chips with queso and salsa. Both were very good. For my meal I had steak and eggs. The steak was overcooked (I asked for medium and I got well done) and the sauce that comes with it just kinda tasted like melted butter and some weird taste I can't really put my finger on it. It was ok. I only didn't send it back because it was so busy and didn't want to be a bother. But all and all I would definitely return. read more

We had the Spanish octopus (soooo good), the waygu meatballs (this was my favorite dish), the potatoes-- we sent back. Went during Happy Hour and sat at the bar. Service was extremely slow despite the fact that there were 3 bartenders and a manager and only about 10 of us seated at the bar (about 20 in the whole restaurant). It took a long time to get a menu and place an order. (I never got a drink because nobody ever came back to check on me.) The portions were really small - even for tapas - and the food was pretty unremarkable. The host staff was really nice and the server who brought my food was great, but neither of those facts are enough to make me go back. read more

Okay so after seeing a TikTok review on Botica, my friends and I decided to give it a try to celebrate my birthday. We were not disappointed! We made reservations ahead of time because this place gets packed!!!! There's a parking deck located behind the building and you get three hours free parking. All you need is your tag number (bypass the pay station and validate with the hostess stand). After sitting down, we immediately ordered drinks. I got bottomless mimosas and all of my friends got casamigos margaritas (which they tasted extremely fresh). The bottomless mimosas come in several flavors and I tried all of them and they were all equally delicious. I got a breakfast burrito and it was more than enough food to fill me up. We also ended with the churros which were made fresh! They were so good. I also had the chicken soup to go and taste it a few hours later. It was soooo flavorful. The best part of the experience was the service. Our waitress (I believe her name was Maria) was extremely friendly and brought us two rounds of shots. We walked out of brunch sideways.
