It is a really terrible bad place. During my kid's third class, her feet got injured by the sharp metal bottom in the gym ground which is a serious safety issue. They have the responsibility to keep the facility safe and avoid injury. The hazard existed in the gym ground make kids into the risk(the pic was uploaded). It was lucky that my kid' injury was not big. I can not imagine how it could be if any kid fell on this place. In the whole process of communication, no one showed the basic attitude of acknowledging the mistake. What they did was to give me a bandage and fixed the place after I brought this hazard in their attention. The owner, Keala communicates with me via emails. I uploaded all the emails between she and me. As everyone can see, she is just avoiding my assertion that they should take the responsibility for my kid's injury by saying 1) my kid did not verbally inform the coach,2) they have fixed the hazard right after the injury. I clearly responded in my email according to these two evidence and emphasized that safety is not just about how to fix the hazard but importantly to examine regularly and keep the facility safe to avoid injury in advanBut Keala still did not response directly to my topic, instead she took it so easy and avoid any discussion about the responsibility. I am very disappointed about the attitude she took to treat this kind of injury occurred in their gym. If you have time, please read all my pictures I uploaded, you can clearly feel the attitude and make the objective and fair conclusion. What I want is a formal apology which I believe my kid and I deserve at least.

Don't believe the newer members who don't notice how disgustingly filthy this place is. THE LEADERSHIP DOES NOT do anything about it and they're lying. This place is absolutely filthy. I have pics to prove it and nothing ever changes. Skin and hair layered on the machines. Filthy saunas. Floors disgusting. Don't take my word for it Go check it out yourself. It's not opinion, it's fact. MACHINES: Outdated and dirty. Gross in fact. Especially upstairs. GARBAGES: Constantly overflowing. BATHROOMS: Dirty. Overflowing garbages, garbage on floor. LEADERSHIP: Poor. Unresponsive. Previous manager was totally checked out and unresponsive. Current leadership-- unresponsive. They do not return messages, acknowledge requests. This place is awful. I keep coming because of the friends I've made, but overall gets a failing grade. I know 7 gyms in the area, and this is, by far, the dirtiest. As a leader of many organizations, I can honestly say this is one of the worst businesses I've ever been involved with. The leaders do not lead with conviction, just excuses. Culture is terrible. What is the ONE thing people care about the most at a gym? Cleanliness. 24hr fitness? An F for failing. They take away paper towel dispensers so the people use less. They seriously don't care. If you care about cleanliness, this is not the place for you. If you can tolerate poor leadership and a filthy environment, then go for it. If the pool and saunas attract you to this gym, just be prepared for dirty areas. It's so bad, people bring their own masking smells. 24-hr Fit screams, "We don't care. But sign up here." The only passing grade are a few employees that actually care, but feel like their hands are tied to actually do something about the problems. Should I add photos from this morning? And it's like this every day

Since then, they have followed him up to his new gym! I swung by a couple of Saturdays ago and did a 30 min workout here with the guys. I didn't know what to expect, especially since I have never been to a crossfit gym before. Our workout that morning was more conditioning exercises and I actually enjoyed it! We did the 9 AM workout with Coach Anna. I struggled with push presses and Joel and Anna were there to walk me through the movements when my form was not correct. Thank you! Cody was sore the following days and could barely lift his arms. I was decently sore as well. Meaning it was a great workout and it was only 30 min! My favorites have always been Christi, Luis (who is now at the Renton location), Cassie, Yurah, and Christina. "But Regina, you just named over half of the coaches!" I know, and that's exactly my point. They're ALL so good, I've never had a bad class here! 2. The energy in the room is palpable. There are 13 units for each workout station, meaning they can fit 30+ people in there. There are almost always 30 people each time during peak hour classes (early mornings before work, after work, weekends), and I LOVE that there are so many people because everyone is encouraging and it makes the class more fun. I push myself harder when I have fellow community to work out with! 3. Front desk is amazing. They have always been flexible with my needs and asks, and they deserve cookies and treats and all the best things because they are FREAKIN GREAT. 4. Location has lockers, showers, and everything you need to not look like trash as you enter or leave. A must for some busy professionals, and the showers thankfully never get crowded here because people are courteous. 5. Okay, finally the workouts. My goodness, I would go five times a week if I could. You get your butt kicked on the rowers, then you move into weight floor exercises to do strength training and core work, and then finally the treadmills is a cardio enthusiast's dream. I am NOT an experienced runner, and even I love getting up there and getting it done. No one will judge you if you choose to power walk on incline. Do what works for you!!! At the end of the day, the thing that differentiates this location from others is, I assume, the owner and the way they treat everyone with respect. There's no other explanation to me as to why this is the #1 ranked location in all of Washington state (literally this!) The energy of the people AND staff here is wildly different from any other location I've been to here in the greater Seattle area and in the San Francisco Bay Area. I will never churn as an OTF member so long as this location stays here and continues to be this amazing. LOVE! (PS- not that it's about weight, but I've seen measurable difference in my muscle mass and body fat- I lost 15 pounds in 3 months of working out 3-4x a week at OTF. So do it do it do it!)

After a baby immediately followed by a pandemic, I found myself in the worst shape of my life. I was miserable and my fitness had hit rock bottom. I was making all sorts of excuses and then one day, a random ad on Instagram caught my eye. Maybe it was desperation, maybe it's because I'm spontaneous, but I couldn't shake it. I signed up for a consultation with PP that moment and instantly felt a sense of commitment. That first step was the hardest - admitting I needed help to get myself back - but I no longer had an excuse. I meant with Jimmy and was emotional as I admitted that I didn't know who I was anymore and acknowledged I didn't even recognize myself - but I felt safe. There was no judgement, but something clicked. I felt an instant connection and a sense of community - I wasn't broken beyond fixing....I wasn't alone on my journey. There was hope! I've been going to PP for about three months now and my only regret is not finding them sooner. The difference is apparent - both physically and mentally. Jimmy, Bryce, Ellen - they are THE best. I look forward to my gym routine - Jimmy holds me accountable and Coach Bryce is so good at pushing me to do my best, always very attentive with providing tips to maximize my workouts. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for the team at Progressive Performance....seriously I feel like a completely different person. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me! My muscles are sore, I've worked up a good sweat, and I'm proud that I pushed through another workout. One of the reasons I picked Grant over someone at my local gym is that he has numerous certifications and continuing education. He keeps up on fitness techniques and nutrition. He's given me some great ideas for healthy eating. He's very positive and motivating. And he's great at gearing your workout to your goals and health issues. I like the personal attention and the privacy of his gym. I've been seeing Grant for a year and a half now and am glad that I found him through a reference from a friend. I can say that I am definitely in much less pain and have lost 20 pounds in the process. I am more fit, healthy, and happy. I plan on continuing my workout sessions with Grant to loose 40 more pounds.
