They not allow me to the class on 12:20 , as I need to be there BEFORE 12:20. But they can allow people from waiting list if they have one.

Firstly, they sold me a glitched heart rate monitoring band that simply refused to work properly. Despite my attempts to reason with them and request a replacement, they adamantly refused to exchange it, leaving me stuck with a defective product. Second, once I try to charge my band before the lesson, the manager, insisting that I should have charged it at home. And if you think it couldn't get any worse, it can. Despite my courtesy of calling ahead to notify them that I would be arriving just five minutes late for the class, they callously denied me entry. And told me if I would come few seconds earlier they will allow me to start the class. It's unbelievable how they prioritize punctuality over basic human decency and understanding. Overall, my experience with Orangetheory Fitness was an utter disaster. From their faulty equipment to their appalling customer service and unreasonable policies, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and find a gym that actually values its customers. It's also worth noting that throughout these frustrating encounters, I couldn't shake the feeling that my treatment was influenced by my status as an immigrant. It's appalling to think that they might not have treated me with the same dismissiveness and rigidity if I were an American. Discrimination in any form has no place in customer service, and Orangetheory Fitness's (Bothell location) actions only serve to underscore their lack of inclusivity and respect for diversity.

A group of gym friends helping me celebrate 500 classes at OTF Bothell!
John W.

Just stopping by to post a quick pic... I hit 500 classes at OTF Bothell last month and I still love this studio, the coaches and staff, and the amazing workouts that keep me in peak condition!

I have been to many different OTF and Bothell is hands down the best! Every single coach is absolutely amazing. I recently had my second child and the care and attention they took to make sure I was comfortable and still getting a good work out was unbelievable. With their support I worked out until I was 39 weeks pregnant. They even sent me a baby gift once Palmer was born! I returned around 8 weeks post baby and have had such support in getting back in the saddle. My baby is 9 months old now and I am slowly getting back to my pre pregnancy speeds. OTF Bothell isn't just a gym, it is family. I have met so many amazing people, of all ages and actually look forward to going to the gym. Family owned and operated makes the biggest difference. Ryan takes such good care of his customers and staff, we are so lucky to have such a great place in little old Bothell! There are member meet ups outside of the studio and fun events to attend. I see some of these reviews mention cancellations and arriving late to the studio and not being allowed to work out. A lot of that is out of the control of the staff and owners, especially the membership dues/prices and cancellation rules. Other rules are in place for the safety of the members working out. (just wanted to throw that out there to be mindful of some of the other complaints and to take with a grain of salt).

Phone number that keeps calling me
Felicia B.

I've never been here. I have no interest in going. I continually get calls from this location and I've blocked them. They call from different numbers and I block those numbers as well. Sales calls. It's incessant. I HAVE NO INTENTION OF GOING TO YOUR CLUB. STOP CALLING ME. I've responded asking them to calling me when I lived in Sammamish and they did - when covid locked us down. Now that we are no longer locked down my phone is blowing up again. FOR ALL THATS HOLY - KNOCK IT OFF. Even if I had any interest in joining a club - which I do not - I'd NEVER JOIN THIS PLACE!!!! I have a membership already at a place who doesn't even send me email SPAM, AND a FREE one at work. WHY would I get another at a place who HARASSES me several times a week??? Quit being so desperate. It's ugly, even for a company.

Great workout! Thanks

Love this studio. Great staff and coaches. For a senior citizen they work hard to make it work for me.

I think I caught the OTF bug and now can't stop going. It's become an addiction to sign up for classes and sweat it out through cardio and strength training, and even though I find myself sore, I keep going back for more. First off, it would make a lot more sense for me to visit the Bellevue or Redmond location. However, I go to the Bothell location because the quality of instructors/coaches are incredible (shout out to my favorite coach, Frederick, who always checks in with EVERYONE and keeps you accountable when you're working out). They also have great out of gym events to engage its members and foster a sense of community: potlucks, group runs, hikes, etc. The workouts are always fantastic. If you've never been to OTF, here's how they work: You can sign up beforehand online, through the app, or over the phone. There is a cancellation policy that if you cancel your class reservation within an 8-hour period, you are charged a fee. I avoid this by signing up only when I am 100% sure I can go, even if it's 10 minutes before class starts. Note that you do run the risk of the class filling up if you take this approach and will be waitlisted. Upon arrival at the gym, you sign in at the front counter and choose whether you want to start with "row" or "run." There's also a biking option if you want to opt out of using the treadmill. If you're taking a 60-minute class (they also have 45- and 90-minute options and varying degrees of intensity), your class will entail a combination of treadmill, rowing, and weight room with TRX, free weights, and other strength training equipment. The instructor will walk you through each "block," or set of time. When you're on a treadmill, you'll use a combination of your "base pace," or pace you feel comfortable maintaining for a long period of time (there are power walking, jogging, and running options), a "push pace" that consists of running slightly faster than your base and makes you feel a little uncomfortable, and your "all out pace," which is as fast as you can run. By using these three pace levels, you increase your heart rate to different levels. Heart rate monitoring is probably one of OTF's key differentiators; there's a wrist or chest heart rate monitor members wear, and during class, their heart rate and calories burned are displayed on screens at the front of the room. There are different colors to represent different heart rate zones (grey and blue are resting, green is active, orange and red are at the peak amount). The concept behind OTF is that if you can get your heart rate into the orange or red zone for a given amount of time, you can experience after burn where you burn additional calories even beyond the workout. For the strength training portion of class, the instructor walks you through each move, and there are animated figures on screens completing the exercise for additional guidance. There are always modifications, and I've never been judged or made fun of requesting a modification. In between switching workout stations, the instructors pass out wet wipes to clean equipment, and then at the end of the day, the employees do a more thorough cleaning job to keep everything in top condition. Overall, great facility and concept. I highly recommend checking it out. Your first workout is free with them!

I never would've believed that working out would be something I would look forward to every day! OTF Bothell has supported me in making my health and fitness a priority!!

I love working out here! The coaches are great at pushing you further than you would push yourself. It's similar to having a personal trainer, but less expensive. Give it a try!

The text message I got 30 seconds before the class started to let me know if I wasn't there in 30 seconds I couldn't join the class.

The best coaches and staff in the area. I've been an OTF member for five years, and the quality of this studio is why.

I have been coming to OTF Bothell since they first opened back in May and must say this place has consistently delivered since day one.

The…read moreinstructors, especially Helen (friends from neighboring studios come to attend her sessions too), are attentive and supportive, and always offer modifications based on individual health needs. My PT is impressed. Unfortunately, my experience with the front office manager, Bianca, has been extremely disappointing She was rude and raised her voice during a phone call (at 10:30am in the morning!!), and ultimately disconnected the call (slammed abruptly) despite my repeated requests to keep the conversation calm and requesting her to slow down. I am on an unlimited monthly plan S275/month approx.) and continued paying even while traveling in Nov/Dec 2025 due to my mother's passing. Despite classes often being only 60-80% full, I am charged a $15 fee for cancellation, even when canceled just minutes outside the 12-hour window due to work emergencies. In the first six days of February, I am charged $45 additional when the classes are already having vacant spots due to no signups. I attempted to discuss this respectfully, but the interaction was handled unprofessionally by Bianca. While I value the instructors and studio, the front desk experience seriously detracts from an otherwise positive environment. I plan to take this to the studio owner as I find Bianca's discriminatory behavior troubling.

I came to Club Pilates after a friend--who'd heard my long-standing saga about chronic knee and hip…read morepain--suggested I try it out. My issues originally stemmed from a broken foot I never fully rehabbed with proper physical therapy. She thought Pilates might help strengthen all those small, neglected muscles. I'm an Orangetheory junkie, but I had to stop because I was in constant pain every night. I was doing some physical therapy, but it just wasn't enough. Committing to Pilates five times a week was what finally made the difference. After three consistent months, I'm back to my regular exercise routine--pain-free for the first time in about eight months. It honestly felt like magic. The instructors are so knowledgeable, it's almost like having physical therapists guide you through every class, targeting muscles I probably hadn't activated in years if ever. I only wish I'd found Club Pilates right after getting out of the boot. It could have saved me months of discomfort. Having done physical therapy first definitely gave me a good foundation, but I'd highly recommend starting with a few private lessons to make sure your form is solid and you're getting the most out of it. The unlimited group class membership is about $299/month, which is actually very affordable for Pilates. The classes are creative, engaging, and rarely the same twice. Now that I'm back at Orange Theory , I can feel how much stronger and more balanced I am. All those weak spots and bad movement patterns have noticeably improved. I'm so grateful. Also, classes at Club Pilates run almost every hour throughout the day, which is super convenient. Any little issues I may have had with teachers I'm able to disregard on account of finally having a body that doesn't hurt. And even the teachers I enjoyed the least still gave killer workouts. The main front desk person is so friendly, always bright eyed with a big smile. Su Rain, Emily, and Crystal are the girls in HS you want to include you, and they finally do, in your journey to a pain free body. (This is where I'd put a goofy tongue out emoji.)
