My experience is that I was paired with a female trainer named Andrea. I had a very BAD experience with her. She was belittling, demeaning, never smiled or showed interest, even once.She frequently rolled her eyes at me as I answered her "intake" questions. She acted as though she was so bored. I am in the over 50 category, and suspect that is why she was so disrespectful of me. I have not been back to that gym since. I would say, "buyer beware". There are other facilities with better management and trainers. I will likely drop my membership there.

The cherry on top which made me never come back, is that there was a homeless man with his hands in his pants, recording me outside the windows which had no curtains when i was walking on the treadmills NEXT to my boyfriend (which is in the front of the building where all the windows show out to the street) We called not once but twice and didn't get anything and decided to end our membership. It's obviously not their fault but as a woman, I do not suggest this place as it's getting more and more busier in that area because of the train and the transit station:/

I've only made it to 2 classes so far, but I look forward to coming here for years to come. This area is full of construction so street parking is not super easy, but do look for the retail parking garage. It can be a little confusing to know where to go if you are coming here for the first time, but from the parking garage exit walk across the court yard. Everyone has been welcoming and friendly. The large entry area has plenty of lockers to secure your stuff and some seats to help you get your shoes on and off. Bathrooms have showers and space to change if you are heading here on your way to or from somewhere. I feel much less cramped in this xformer room. I've only peaked in the yoga room, but it looks quite large as well. I really like the uniqueness of xformer classes. I do have some experience with pilates, but for some reason these machines seem more enjoyable. Do be aware this is a hard workout and you will leave feeling the effects. It can be a little challenging to figure it out the first couple times, but the instructors walk around and offer support. If everything else falls just look at what your neighbor is doing. There are support sticks if you worry about your balance. Give it a try and I am sure you will feel the benefits as well.

The Cut and Flow just opened a new location in Lynnwood. It is located on the first floor of a brand new apartment complex. Retail parking is also available inside the apartment parking garage. There are designated parking spots specifically for retail customers. A heads-up if you're visiting: the main gate from the apartment side is a bit heavy. I initially thought it was locked and only accessible to residents, so I ended up walking all the way around the building to get in. If you go, make sure to give the gate a firm push. I tried both the Pilates and yoga classes. Pilates was great, especially with brand-new reformer machines available for everyone to use for the entire session. The mirrors on the walls made it easy to follow the instructor and check my form. The yoga instructor was incredibly friendly and professional. I liked the slightly warm temperature of the room. I think it helped my body relax even better. We did a variety of stretches that felt pretty good afterwards. Also, be aware that phones are not allowed in class! I definitely needed a bit more time away from my phone. All the equipments are new and available for use unless you prefer to bring your own. The shower facilities are in excellent condition as the entire facility is brand new.

I'm a regular at Meghan's yoga classes and she's absolutely incredible. She creates an environment that is not only welcoming, but fun. From her funky playlists to her encouragement to "do what feels good," her classes are so much fun. These classes are a perfect mix of spiritual and exercise to me- Meghan is great at helping the class stay grounded and present, but also makes sure that we are being challenged and moving our bodies in new ways. I always walk out of class feeling like I got a great workout, had fun with an amazing community, and am more centered. Couldn't recommend her classes more- whether you're starting yoga and want a supportive guide or are on year 20 of yoga like I am and just want to smile and let the world melt away for an hour. Her Saturday hatha classes are challenging but always end in a beautiful stretch sequence and savasana. My favorite are Tuesday and Sunday classes, which are more gentle and follow more of a vinyasa structure. Another thing I love about her classes is that I never know what we are going to do next. I've been to over 20 of her classes and no two were even remotely the same. This keeps me excited to attend and engaged throughout, as I get bored easily with repetition. Meghan is a yoga goddess!
