I am one of those who follow instructors from this state, Las Vegas, or Hawaii, and that is how I advance. I have been practicing since 2011, and this studio has the most teachers I follow. Fusion's instructors are all either certified Hatha or PV instructors and they only teach what they are certified to teach, unlike other studios. Great instructors! They know their stuff. Yes, Fusion lost a few due to the pandemic, but I want to note a great add-on recently......Christine Bennett. She's a polished teacher with years of experience. She's got challenging classes, but it is the "hard" that we come in for anyway! To the owner, CC, keep up the good work! Cliff

The studio clearly doesn't answer their phones or check their voicemails. This is horrible customer service and I'm pissed that I'm having to pay $89 per month for a studio that I haven't been to since 12/2023. Do not sign up for automatic payments. I made a 1 YEAR commitment and they didn't hold up their end of the deal. I don't know if the management is taking advantage of people or are just not paying attention. I regret signing up and I will continue to leave bad reviews until the company makes things right.

Another update ALL…read morebut one instructor are awesome. Yep, it's the one who almost hit me with the bag on my first class as a member. She was bitching and rolling her eyes at me saying "whatever" when I didn't follow her combo. I got really upset and had to leave the class half way. I don't need that kind of negativity and shitty attitude after all I have been through at work the whole day. Combos change every round and every class to keep it interesting and work out different areas of our bodies, it's hard to follow and I just punch the bag at my own pace sometimes. I make sure to always choose a bag at the corner so not to disturb others. I don't think I deserve the judgment from her. Nyke and Momo and ALL other instructors are awesome. I like their classes. "You can do anything in 30 seconds! Don't give up on yourself" they are always cheerful, encouraging and super friendly. They sometimes share fun stories during stretching and there's never a dull moment! I wish there's a fixed schedule where they let you know who the instructor of the class is beforehand. I will avoid that lady at all cost. *update! Back in San Francisco I have been doing kickboxing and karate for almost a year and they taught me proper forms. It did get boring sometimes. Then I moved to Washington and joined ilovekickboxing, the classes are more fun! They keep you motivated. The first class here was awesome, I had so much fun that I decided to sign up for 12 months. The second class was a total disappointment... the instructor was unprofessional, her combo was weird and hard to follow. She's always talking to the nice ladies at the counter instead of guiding the class like she's supposed to. The laughter amplified via her mic and it's distracting. She moved the bag at one point while I was beside it. I was having a water break at the edge of the mat. The heavy bag bounced and hit the water bottle in my hand. I'm sure it was just an accident but she didn't even stop and check. The other instructors helped during warm up and showed us the proper form. There was a lady who's late for class and missed most part of the warm up, one of the instructors did a quick one to one with her to keep her from injuries. This is really nice and sweet. The floor was dusty and everyone's feet were dirty at the end of the class but it's no big deal. The restroom has everything you will ever need, locker room is well kept. There's a gender neutral locker room, very inclusive place. Most of the staff are friendly and very energetic. Class was not too crowded and there's space to move around. I hope the next class would be more fun.

I was very disappointed to discover one of those people was the teacher. The other girl, I'm assuming she worked there? Put her mat directly on top of mine as class was starting so she could see herself in the mirror and I had to move so I didn't get kicked in the face, and there was plenty of space, but I guess she really needed to see herself take breaks the entire class. The instruction was not good. There was no firm correction, the cues were all over the place. In the middle of class the instructor stopped and asked everyone what they were doing later. I come to yoga to be present so I can carry that with me, I don't want to think about what's happening later when I'm here to work on being present in the moment. I went back several more times because I signed up for the new student special and it was all the same. The community that regularly attends all like to gossip and they LOVE when the teachers ask what they are doing later. It's safe to say there is no enlightenment happening at this studio. If you are looking for a studio to gossip and or be treated as if you don't exist and are NOT interested in strengthening your practice or clearing your mind, this is the studio for you! If you want to go somewhere with a high vibe that is welcoming and will help you grow your practice keep looking because this studio is not it.

With the different options available throughout the day and classes offered everyday of the week, I find myself motivated to go almost everyday. I found my love of pure barre first at the Bellevue location almost 15 years ago. Then I waited over 10 years for one to open in the north end after I moved up here (Barre3 is just not the same). I was excited when they finally opened in Mill Creek in late 2023. I was disappointed when they closed under the previous ownership shortly after opening. Katie, the new owner is amazing. She is an active owner who also teaches at all the locations. Hearing that she already owned the Eastside locations and those two locations were thriving, I was hopeful that the Mill Creek and Lynnwood locations would have a successful reopening. She really pushes you to continuously push harder and reminds you of why you are there and to not cheat yourself in your workout. The teachers there are the best.
