This was my second visit, having last been here several years ago before COVID. Both times, I was really impressed with how clean and well-maintained the place is. CAVEAT: I haven't tried the pool, sauna, or jacuzzi yet since I don't usually come out this way (I normally go to the Issaquah 24 Hour Fitness near home), but the weight and cardio equipment here are in great shape--no "out of order" signs or cracked upholstery on the benches. So far, I didn't run into any of the issues some other reviewers mentioned. I would recommend that they should visit the Issaquah gym to get a better perspective/appreciation for the Bothell location. :) Case in point: from the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by a big guy at the front desk (the manager, maybe?). As I was leaving, I complimented the same staff member about how much cleaner and better maintained this gym is compared to my usual spot in Issaquah. Another gymgoer overheard and chimed in--turns out he lives near the Issaquah location too but prefers coming here for the same reasons. Now that's an endorsement! For me the only downside is that it like other gyms, is no longer open 24 hours/day.

I don't appreciate when people just put their heinous feet on the gym and that's where I do my stretching

Gross need to make make sure this doesn't happen. I stretch there and he didn't wipe it down. iPad down and more work buddy.

I have always been a fan of 24 Hour Fitness. I had a membership when I lived in California for 5 years, but then when I moved to Seattle I canceled it cuz I was not a fan of the downtown location and my office at the time had a free gym. My job relocated to Bothell and when I saw this 24 Hour down the street, I knew it was time to get my membership back. Things I like about this location: - new gym. I really am not a fan of the old 24 Hour Fitnesses, they need to revamp them. This one seems like it was built in the past 5 years or so. - the desk people are friendly - I have always enjoyed the towel service - parking is plentiful, but people still park rudely and on the curbs which I do not understand. Why don't you go park in an actual parking spot and not block the path? I have yet to try the pool. Which is on my to do list. There's always cardio machines free. I enjoy the spin and bodypump classes they offer. I pay about $40/month for my membership. Also, FREE WIFI! I noticed Lynnwood location doesn't have free wifi.

What's the point of naming a company 24 hour fitness when you're open from 5am to 9pm on weekdays, and less on the weekends?

If you're reading reviews of gyms and contemplating making a change in your life....stop and look…read moreno further. Jimmy and team at Progressive Performance are THE BEST. After a baby immediately followed by a pandemic, I found myself in the worst shape of my life. I was miserable and my fitness had hit rock bottom. I was making all sorts of excuses and then one day, a random ad on Instagram caught my eye. Maybe it was desperation, maybe it's because I'm spontaneous, but I couldn't shake it. I signed up for a consultation with PP that moment and instantly felt a sense of commitment. That first step was the hardest - admitting I needed help to get myself back - but I no longer had an excuse. I meant with Jimmy and was emotional as I admitted that I didn't know who I was anymore and acknowledged I didn't even recognize myself - but I felt safe. There was no judgement, but something clicked. I felt an instant connection and a sense of community - I wasn't broken beyond fixing....I wasn't alone on my journey. There was hope! I've been going to PP for about three months now and my only regret is not finding them sooner. The difference is apparent - both physically and mentally. Jimmy, Bryce, Ellen - they are THE best. I look forward to my gym routine - Jimmy holds me accountable and Coach Bryce is so good at pushing me to do my best, always very attentive with providing tips to maximize my workouts. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for the team at Progressive Performance....seriously I feel like a completely different person. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me! However, thanks to Curtis and the PP team, there has been a significant improvement in my posture, physical strength & stamina since my initial evaluation. The best thing about the coaches is that they help correct your form, tailor the plan to focus on the areas that are the weakest for you, and ensure u never unintentionally injure yourself. I have never been a "gym" person, and aimlessly working out without a plan or guidance is not my thing, so I am truly thankful for the support and guidance I get at this place.

Cut and Flow sells grippy socks and lululemon clothes in the front. Don't forget to bring your own grippy socks to your first Xformer class, or you can purchase one at the studio. My favorites have always been Christi, Luis (who is now at the Renton location), Cassie, Yurah, and Christina. "But Regina, you just named over half of the coaches!" I know, and that's exactly my point. They're ALL so good, I've never had a bad class here! 2. The energy in the room is palpable. There are 13 units for each workout station, meaning they can fit 30+ people in there. There are almost always 30 people each time during peak hour classes (early mornings before work, after work, weekends), and I LOVE that there are so many people because everyone is encouraging and it makes the class more fun. I push myself harder when I have fellow community to work out with! 3. Front desk is amazing. They have always been flexible with my needs and asks, and they deserve cookies and treats and all the best things because they are FREAKIN GREAT. 4. Location has lockers, showers, and everything you need to not look like trash as you enter or leave. A must for some busy professionals, and the showers thankfully never get crowded here because people are courteous. 5. Okay, finally the workouts. My goodness, I would go five times a week if I could. You get your butt kicked on the rowers, then you move into weight floor exercises to do strength training and core work, and then finally the treadmills is a cardio enthusiast's dream. I am NOT an experienced runner, and even I love getting up there and getting it done. No one will judge you if you choose to power walk on incline. Do what works for you!!! At the end of the day, the thing that differentiates this location from others is, I assume, the owner and the way they treat everyone with respect. There's no other explanation to me as to why this is the #1 ranked location in all of Washington state (literally this!) The energy of the people AND staff here is wildly different from any other location I've been to here in the greater Seattle area and in the San Francisco Bay Area. I will never churn as an OTF member so long as this location stays here and continues to be this amazing. LOVE! (PS- not that it's about weight, but I've seen measurable difference in my muscle mass and body fat- I lost 15 pounds in 3 months of working out 3-4x a week at OTF. So do it do it do it!)

Then I went in person again to update bank info. This employee didn't know how to, so then I left and was told a manager would reach out. No one did. I called multiple times about trying to fix my account and got no where. Then in fall, by this time they hit with a late fee each month since they didn't have a bank account numbers on file, but had my card which I guess to them isn't a valid form of payment to planet fitness which is ridiculous) I was talking to a manager in Katrina I believe her name, she was at least trying to help me get it resolved at first, submitted a refund for my late fees and finally got my bank account numbers resolved, and at least acknowledged that it wasn't fair I was paying 10 more a month for a late fee I don't deserve to pay. I was told by her she would keep me updated but I had to keep calling myself to get updates for over a month in the holidays. Finally again I called myself this week only to find out she's not there anymore, and I had to explain my situation 10th to this new manager, Zack. He explained that the refund was declined and honestly could not of cared more about the almost year of me getting hit with late fee each month because other employees didn't help me or promised to call back and never did so. Let me tell you, he couldn't care less. I asked since planet fitness declined my refund of "late fees" they I don't feel I deserve, can it be applied to my monthly credit. His response, "that's not something we do here" and asked if there's anything else that can be done or I can talk to someone above he said "nope!" WOW. I was a fitness manager for 5 years, I'm just not buying it. He also mentioned "oh well planet fitness refunded you one late fee in June we can't do another" Um, I got NO refund for any fees that I am aware of. And so you guys can do them too. Very condescending tone really did not care at all. 9 months of communication with this place only to get a fat I don't care from the manager. Just so disappointing since I have been a member since before this place even opened and was a presale member. Want a gym that cares about long term members? Keep looking elsewhere!
