One of the biggest frustrations is that they would not allow me to switch to a different Planet Fitness location. On top of that, I was charged unexpected fees that were never clearly explained. After reading other reviews, it seems many current and former members have experienced similar overcharging issues. The facility is also not consistently clean, and members are expected to wipe down all equipment after each use, yet the gym itself doesn't always appear to be well maintained. Overall, my experience has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend this location based on the rude customer service, billing practices, and cleanliness.

If you have physical limitations (shoulder problem, knee issues, etc.) she is very skilled at working around them to still provide a great workout. No cookie cutter workouts here. Kim BLEW- and continues to blow- my expectations out of the water every time I see her! A breakdown of my experience is- - Measurements and forms are done at the start of the relationship so it feels very official and done with care - Kim added me to her iwatch so she can see my fitness status (gives me a reason to get my butt out and about!) - Kim creates a schedule of the workout (e.g., high intensity, low intensity, and cardio) so you have an idea of what you're doing and not just floundering around - There is no same workout every time so I love that I never know what to expect - Fun music is played in the background - Comfortable environment - Ample fitness accessories so you don't feel like you're missing out on the benefits of an actual gym - Ample parking - Convenient availability

Strength training is always part of my injury recovery process, but I've done a bad job of incorporating it to my workouts. Either I don't lift weights, or I do too much too soon and I'm sore in a way that impacts my running. I've been a member for about a month, and I am really enjoying my workouts at Progressive Performance. Signing up for this gym keeps me accountable to strength training and I'm able to keep running in addition to building strength. More than that, I really appreciate how the trainers took the time to know me, my goals, where I've struggled in the past and are there to guide my workouts. The trainers are super personable, the workouts are a good challenge, and every other member I've encountered has been friendly, welcoming, and kind. Oh, and the gym is clean and well-equipped. I love collaborating with Ray because he is very, VERY knowledgeable. He can breakdown your workouts into simple formats and he can explain things into science when necessary. Our communication was amazing! When I have an injury, I say it. And the moment I say it, he immediately knows what to do and he shifts gears to work around it. I even mentioned about my left knee ACL surgery and guess what? He helped me work around that too! My goal was to get back into shuffling (electronic music dance form) and he pinpointed the areas where I need to work on most in order for me to effectively get back into my goal. He was extremely attentive, motivating, and FUN! We became friends and I always looked forward to my training sessions. A friend recommended that I try the Armory out and I could not be happier that I did. The trainers are the best of the best and so accommodating and patient. They've given me the courage to try out new exercises that I had never considered and have helped me scale my workouts to find what works for my body to get really strong and stay strong. Since then, they have followed him up to his new gym! I swung by a couple of Saturdays ago and did a 30 min workout here with the guys. I didn't know what to expect, especially since I have never been to a crossfit gym before. Our workout that morning was more conditioning exercises and I actually enjoyed it! We did the 9 AM workout with Coach Anna. I struggled with push presses and Joel and Anna were there to walk me through the movements when my form was not correct. Thank you! Cody was sore the following days and could barely lift his arms. I was decently sore as well. Meaning it was a great workout and it was only 30 min! It is a great space, very clean, and the coaches are very enthusiastic for you to be there! I'll definitely go by again when I am around on the weekends more!

She has an upbeat energy, and really makes you put the extra effort. She addresses people by name several times during class and offers form corrections, suggestions and encouragement.
