I have purchased fish 3 times from Boston Sword and Tuna at local farmers markets. The first time it was swordfish and it was fair at best. I then bought swordfish again (twenty five dollars worth) when my sister came to visit from out of state. It was inedible. It was mushy like baby food. It seemed that it had been frozen and thawed, then frozen again. We threw it away. My father said it was the worst swordfish he ever had. I would agree. I swore I would never buy from them again, but today, at another farmer's market, I bought bluefish from Boston Sword and Tuna because I did not realize that the vendor had changed (it was previously Globe Fish, which simply had the best, freshest fish). One pound of bluefish which also had the same mushy texture as the swordfish. Again, I am throwing it away. At least it's cheaper than swordfish. Will not make this mistake again. If you are in Boston, look for another fish vendor, or go to Courthouse Seafood in Cambridge, which is AMAZING. read more
