Not happy about my experience with this place today. I decided I wanted some fried clams, and…read morerather than go to two of the mainstays in the area, The Clam Box or Tony's Clam Shop, I figured I'd give this place a shot. So I go to their website and they have a large order of clams listed at $31.95, and I'm really in the mood for a big plate of clams so I say "what the heck" and order the large. When I arrive to pick up the order, there's a paper sign hanging by the register listing the prices for clams, and suddenly I find out the price I saw on the website was $8.00 dollars! less than what they were actually going to change me, $40.00. Since I have a sense of honor, and didn't want to just walk out without paying for my order, I paid for my takeout and left. Once I got home and opened my order I could see that it in no way resembled what you would expect is $40 worth of clams, I Get clams all the time at The Clam Box and Tony's for prices much lower than this and the amount I was looking at simply didn't justify that ridiculous $40 bill. Now there are other seafood takeout restaurant out there (such as Fred's for example) that allow their prices for clams and scallops to fluctuate with the market. And ALL of them list "Market Price" in the price area of those items on their website. Fish & Chips might show a set price but clams and scallops have "Market Price". Other shops like The Clam Box and Tony's list a fixed price for their clams and scallops on their website, and they HONOR that listed price. Adam's Fish Market does neither of these things, and I can guarantee they will never be seeing another order from me.

I can't sing the praise loud enough about it. If you don't mind eating in your car, or standing around waiting for a table to open up, this is the place for you. I do appreciate such a variety of seafood that doesn't require a trek to the nearest Hmart or into…read morethe city but the raw fish I got here was just okay. Definitely a lot fishier than the sashimi we usually pick up at Wegman's and the cuts were a little sloppy, with bones left in the salmon and very stringy and tough. I got: the salmon, tamago, scallops, imitation crab, yellowfish, and tuna. Everything totaled about $60. The scallops were my favorite, super fresh. The salmon was perhaps the worst offender in terms of very strong fishiness but nothing that a lot of soy sauce and chili crisp couldn't fix (that's another thing - condiments like soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger packets weren't included). As other reviewers have mentioned, you can also bring the cuts of fish to them to cut up into sushi or chirashi. The staff are very friendly. They also have other fixings to host a sushi night: noodles, rice, frozen cuts of fish, seaweed, as well as a small selection of mochi.

This store is located in front of Adams park in Roslindale, parking is kind of hard to find and it's mainly street parking. The inside of the store is minimally decorated but it has a very vibrant and light interior. The workers greeted us as soon as we entered and we got seat immediately (our party size was of 5 people). The menu has a lot of great options, (I inserted a picture of the full menu in the pictures below) they even offer fresh oysters and a variety of fried appetizer as well as wings. This time I decided to order the Shaking Boil Bag option B, which was 38$ before tax. This bag comes with snow crab legs, 1/2lbs of green mussels and 1lbs of shrimps. All of the bags also comes with automatically 1 corn and 2 potatoes, adding extra sides will cost extra. Once you decided the shaking boil crab of your choice you get to decide which flavor you'd like to pair it with. I definitely recommend the Cajun sauce because it is absolutely tasty. I decided to pair my boil bag with a side of white rice which was fluffy and cooked to perfection. The service was fast and the employee were kind and made sure we enjoyed the meal. I really loved my boiling crab bag. The shrimps tasted so good paired with the Cajun sauce. The crab meat was very sweet and delicate at the taste. I paired my meal with strawberry smoothie which was very tasty. I recommend everyone to stop by and try to spot, you won't regret it!!!

We were in the area visiting the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University and wanted to get lunch…read moreafter a lot of walking around. Seafood boil sounded good and this place was a few minutes away. During lunch time on a Saturday, we arrived and there was only one other party in the place. It was super quiet. We were seated promptly and provided some pop corn. The place has unique decor in that there is customer writing all over their walls! Our server was okay, and answered our questions and took our order. We went with the Snow crabs with green mussels. You get 1lb of each, versus their A/B/C platters which may contain less of some of what you want. It was fine as we were gonna spend over $60 and would get 1/2 lb of shrimp for free anyways. The seafood boil bag was ordered with their shaking sauce mild. It was not spicy at all, had really good flavor but definitely on the salty side, IMHO. It was still enjoyable. When you leave you'll be dying of thirst. The seafood was cooked well, with most of the snow crab legs able to crack open. There was just enough sauce for everything in the bag. I'd say it was a 7/10 rating. The fried calamari plate with sweet potato fries was okay. Nothing special, and definitely edible. I'd give this a 7/10 rating again. The lemon pepper wings were tiny, but at least girthy (given their size). Flavor was good and cooked perfectly and came out so hot and fresh. I'd give them a 7/10 rating, would be higher if the wings were even normal sized. Overall, it was a decent meal. It satisfied a craving. The restaurant is comfortable and clean. There was decent parking options outside on the street.
