Lobster roll with onion rings and fried clams!

Saw all the great reviews on Yelp so decided to try this place out! My husband and I absolutely loved this place. We split a lobster roll with onion rings and some fried clams. We were blown away by quality and freshness of the food, and pleasantly surprised by the amount of lobster on the roll. Also, super casual atmosphere, loved that it wasn't a restaurant where you get waited on but still a nice place to sit. Also loved seeing all the beautiful fresh fish, smelled so fresh and great! We will be back very soon! :)

Living in Massachusetts, I've definitely had my share of lobster rolls. Hot, cold, mayo, no mayo, butter, no butter. Honestly, I love them all. But the lobster roll I had at Twin Seafood Market on Church Street in Concord Massachusetts took the gold medal in my opinion due to the fact the amount of lobster you get is unreal! Sure, they didn't butter their roll but I didn't even miss the butter because the lobster was so good and so decadent. The roll was loaded and piled high with lobster. Usually, I don't like a ton of mayo mixed into the lobster salad because the whole point is to taste the lobster. Sometimes, some places use too much Mayo and it over powers the fresh lobster. But this roll had the perfect balance of creamy mayo and cold chunky lobster. I was full after about half and literally could not stop eating it until it was all gone. Yes, I ate the entire roll and I have regrets. The service is just as good. The guys were all so nice and helpful - very friendly staff! If you don't want to travel into the city (Boston) for your lobster roll, I highly recommend Twin Seafood Market. Even better, they have a HUGE selection of fresh seafood for sale at market price. From lobster to shrimp, tuna to salmon, mussels to oysters, Twin Seafood Market is the place to buy your fresh seafood.

    Heaping mound of fresh lobster

On a beautiful Friday evening I came for the lobster roll. Yes. It expensive. But absolutely worth it. As I sat inside and enjoyed this heaping 1/2 lb of lobster I witnessed a steady stream of locals picking up take out meals. Or buying fish. The place was busy. The team of young men behind the counter provided excellent service to everyone.

50/50 chance that you will be happy with your purchase. We shop here because there is really no other local fish market. This place would probably fail if it had competition. This week we bought salmon and the stuffed shells- big mistake with the shells. As you can see they went right in the trash can. The customer service is constantly bad (think "no soup for you"). Not worth the trip.

This place is absolutely amazing. We came in on Sunday right around 12 and we beat the lunch rush- so many people came in to pick up lunch or eat in and we totally understood why! The food was absolutely amazing. Large portions and good prices. Seafood was fresh and perfectly fried - they also have grilled options too. We got the fisherman's platter (a must, I love those clam bellies!!) and cups of chowdah. Will def go back the next time I'm in the area!!

Look at the huge amount if lobster meat.

The quality of the ingredients here is truly incredible - everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned - we will definitely be back. We ordered: Grilled Salmon ($17) - This came with two sides and I chose the butternut squash and vegetable which ended up being broccoli. First, I am not a huge fan of squash but this squash was to die for. It was mashed up and so buttery and well seasoned. Wow. I'd come back just for the squash if I'm being honest. It was perfectly sweet and rich - a really great side to any dish. The broccoli was a steamed head of broccoli that was fine and added some nice green to our dinner, but that squash was special. And if we're talking about special, the salmon was grilled perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and came with this delicious creamy dill sauce and a slice of lemon that brought everything together wonderfully. It was perfectly cooked and juicy with great flavor - I will definitely be ordering this again. Seafood Casserole ($21) - We got this with mashed potatoes and cole slaw and the potatoes were also really tasty and well seasoned. The cole slaw didn't have too much mayo which was nice, but it wasn't too special other than that. The casserole itself had some HUGE scallops, shrimp, and haddock that was all very nicely breaded and buttery. The scallops were literally the best scallops I've had in over five years. They were massive, sweet, and perfectly cooked so they were tender and juicy inside. The shrimp was also above-average - nice and plump with a good sweetness as well, and the fish was decent, but not the star of the show. Steamed Mussels ($17) - This was served over linguini with a garlic, white wine, and tomato sauce. There were a good amount of fresh mussels in this, and the sauce had a nice balance of sour, sweet, and savory. This wasn't my favorite, but it was still very solid. Both this and the other pasta dish also came with two pieces of garlic bread which was served as a roll cut like a hasselback potato with butter, garlic, and herbs stuffed in each mini-slice. It was buttery and salty and even crispy - really delicious! Seafood Fra Diavolo ($23) - Similar to the seafood casserole, this had AMAZING scallops and shrimp in it. It also surprisingly had small chunks of lobster, and the fish was yummy as well. The sauce was sweet and tomato-ey, and we kept coming back to this linguine dish over and over - it was so fresh and balanced! Overall, EVERYTHING WAS SO FRESH. All of the seafood was sweet, fresh, and just really clean tasting. We will absolutely be coming back here again and again, and the price was also really reasonable. On top of that, they have a little shop where you can buy fresh raw seafood as well as prepared seafood soups, baked dishes, salads, desserts, and other treats and goodies. This is such a wonderful find we're so happy to have discovered it!
