The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was because the way my ends were cut were chopped off. They weren't trimmed. They were just chopped off. That'd be okay if I weren't charged $400. $400 charge was to maintain my length, but wasn't. UPDATE: Edited mine to 4 stars because I really do love the color. Sam did an amazing job with my color. Hopefully I can get my ends fixed though! After washing my hair, my color still comes out beautiful. Photo is posted.

Danato took his time in explaining the entire process to me before starting the treatment, which included multiple cleansing washes accompanied by steam throughout. When I made the call to book, the person on the phone asked me what my hair was like and said he had some ideas for stylists who would be a good fit for my hair type. I LOVE that they did that. It made me really excited for my appointment. When I arrived at the salon, there were plenty of bottles of hand sanitizer and everything was very clean. Everyone was wearing a mask and clients were spaced out when hair was being cut, washed, or styled. They are not doing blow dries at the time which was also reassuring to hear that they are taking this seriously. I was seated and Sandra came to talk about what we would do with my hair. She was so incredibly friendly and had a lot of ideas and expertise on what she though would look good. We talked a little bit while she was cutting, but I didn't feel pressured at all about having to talk if I didn't want to, which was really nice. When she was done, I payed and we chatted some more about styling techniques. And then I left....but our journey doesn't end there. When I got home, my hair was starting to really dry and I didn't really love it. It was a lot longer than I had wanted and the layers weren't falling like I anticipated. I debated for a long time about whether or not I should call, especially because there are some iffy reviews on here about customer service once the client had left. But after much debate, I decided to call back. The person on the phone was so nice and said that they would absolutely be able to make an adjustment and scheduled me again with Sandra for the next day. When I came in today for the adjustment, Sandra was so kind and understanding about it. She expressed the reasons why she didn't cut it short, but said that if it's what I really wanted, then it would look great and we should go ahead and do it. The second appointment took about 20 minutes and I left feeling so so good. I was not charged a second time. I will definitely be back to Salon Luna. The customer service was awesome and Sandra was so so nice. She honestly made the whole experience worth it.

After getting home I now realize the gloss isn't even and pulled reddish. I did leave without a blow dry out of frustration so in all fairness I'm sure they would have adjusted that had I stayed. But also, I figured it would probably be fine since it's a gloss but not the case. The manager did offer for another appointment with the owner or another stylist but I declined and they did not charge me. Just posting to help another person avoid this.

The service in general at this salon is pretty quick and efficient and thorough in terms of getting people in and out quickly.

Nicky asked what I was getting ready for, whats the occasion? I told her it was a night out and explain i was a little nervous since i just had a horrible experience with hair dresser who i met for the first time :( she sat me down and told no worries you are in good hands.. honestly throught out the process Nicky made ne feel like i known her for years made you feel comfortable which is hard for me when i go to someone new, and when she finished OMG i was like this is trick mirror because NO WAY she transformed me. Made the horrible day i was having into beautiful one! Nicky really knows what she is doing whether she is doing your hair or doing your make up. If you tell her exactly what you want she will execute it perfectly to the very last detail. Even if you're not sure exactly what you want she is willing to have a conversation with you to figure it out.
