This is a small cozy neighborhood restaurant and bar with real class. The entertainment is always jazzy and food is perfect! I like the bar seats because the staff is friendly and always in the mood for a nice chat.

Ambience was nice for this place. I've been here several times in the past long before they were known for food. Our server was amazing. She was the only waitress working on the early evening we came to eat. The drinks were very good! The con was the Caesar salad. I had mine with salmon and the fish was okay, however, the croutons were fried and also over fried. I've never had a greasy Caesar salad before and this one was very greasy (not from the fish). It was not good. The margarita pizza was good and so was the rice bowl. I probably won't come here to eat again but they had decent service and drinks, plus a great server.

Honey Garlic Sauce with wings.

Walking into Bossa had a great vibe. Half price starters from 4-6 Asian Nachos that were delicious with a peanut sauce. Service was quick and "Kitty" took good care of us. Now for the discouraging news. The wings we ordered were described as naked and tossed... the tri-piece wings were the smallest wings I have ever seen. They were clearly "tossed" into a soup bowl with 2 cups of sauce poured into the bowl. The presentation turned my stomach. I did eat them and the sauce was on point, just entirely overdone and the Chef / Cook clearly had no pride in what left the kitchen. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was Woodford on ice with maraschino cherries, it was not an Old Fashion. The Mediterranean Salad we ordered had more vinegar in the dressing than herbs and oil... the dressing may have been spoiled, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt and say someone was heavy handed with the vinegar. All in all the wings and salad were a $60 disappointment. We may go back sometime and try the beer and pizza, but it won't be until we try all the other places in the neighborhood.

They updated the place since I was there ages ago, ambiance upgrades galore. The bartender, who was my server was great, the food is still great, they have local breweries represented. What's not to love.

Pretzel appetizer.. so good! Strawberry margarita! Delicious

So exciting to go for lunch. All the old memories came flooding back sitting on the front patio for lunch today. It was so nice to enjoy sitting outside, with a drink & food..just like old & now new times! The French dip was so good I forgot to take a pic!

A spontaneous moment brought me to Bossanova. I bellied up to the bar and was greeted by another patron and the bartender. My caesar salad with salmon was to die for! The wine was good. The price was affordable. I would definitely go back.

Great James Bond themed martini menu!!! Lots of fun and a great story behind the painting.

Holly Goodhead and Dixie Normous

I've gone to Bossanova several times in the past 15 years and I'm never disappointed. I just wanted something light since I had eaten just a couple hours earlier. I couldn't pass on the fun sounding martinis and I ordered the Holly Goodhead and my friend got the Dixie Normous. I picked the "Holly" for the cherry/chocolate combo and it was very good. My friend got the "Dixie" because of the tropical vibe and she enjoyed it. I ordered the crostini and dip and it was presented very nicely and she ordered the pretzel dip. The kalamara olives and feta were warm and pleasant. She liked her dip, but thought the pretzels were too hard. I wanted to try their Olde Bakery Brew fusion drink, but it was unavailable. After I finished my martini, I got the Heavy Rift, but I'm not sure if that was the brewery name or drink. Either way, it was tasty. Becky the bartender allowed me to taste it before committing and I was pleased. My friend switched to some classic American light beer after martinis and I believe she liked them too. Overall, great food, service, and atmosphere. I look forward to returning again

My friend and I went here for dinner and sat at the bar. It was clean, and the furnishings up-to-date. The bartender was very friendly and engaging! For dinner, everything was very good! I had the peanut shrimp skewers with Chinese nooes, and my friend had a pizza with shrimp on it (I don't recall the name of it) that was awesome!

Chocolate covered strawberry martini

My sister and I went to Bossanova around Valentines Day to try the special Martini menu they had crafted for the occasion and oh my goodness yum! The chocolate covered strawberry martini was quite enjoyable! I will be following them on social media so I know when another special menu will be available to try!

Great food, great drinks. I had the noodle bowl with chicken and vegetables and my husband had the filet. The Octopussy martini was great!

Has been wildly popular in the past. Come early. Great food and wonderful bar. Parking can be troublesome though.

The best word to describe the event space at WOW Furnishings, is WOW! It is a prime example of…read moredon't judge a book by it's cover. The outside is rustic and historical and inside is spacious, flowing and beautiful. I recently attended a family wedding here and the attention to details in the set-up were top notch. The organization of tables, buffet and most importantly the bar, had an easy and smooth flow for the 230 guest. It was set up for a small happy hour before the ceremony for the guest and future Mr. & Mrs. to mingle. Then the ceremony took place in the main room with all the guest seated a their dinner tables. Once the vows were exchanged, it was time for dinner and more cocktails. The buffet was set-up in the smaller room that you first enter from the outside. The staff and caterer (you select your own caterer) had the table organized well allowing for an easy traffic flow of those coming and those returning to their seats with full plates. This bride & groom selected Johnson's Corner to cater their wedding and they did an impressive job. Once all the guest had completed their meal, it was time to party. WOW knows how to set a wedding/party up. The tables were already organized and set up so well, the center aisle easily became the dance floor. If you need a venue for a wedding as my family did, or if you've got a special anniversary, retirement or monumental birthday celebration, consider WOW for your party. Beautiful place if you're into the "distressed" look (not my thing, but I can appreciate the work…read morethey put into it). Staff was absolutely awesome and they kept things rolling seamlessly. Acoustics are great, you are able to hear well at all points without it being LOUD. There is a great deal of room upstairs for the bridal party, and the same with the room for the grooms party to get ready, with a separate room for them to hang out once they're finished. The only con I saw was the floor being a bit wonky in a few places (not in the natural walkways, thank goodness). It can catch you a bit off guard when you are skirting the dance floor when in heels. Not a huge issue, but it's something to scope out before the event so you can warn your unsteadier elderly guests away from those few areas to avoid mishaps. This is in to way a criticism of the venue, it's in a much older building and that just sort of the way things are in older places. :)

Do you love large breast? If so you need to visit Castelli's and have their fried chicken dinner…read more The breast they serve, are the largest I have ever seen and the accompanying pieces are impressive as well. Thick meaty thighs, curvaceous legs and wings that look as if the chicken has been pumping iron at the local gym. Big pieces, crispy flavorful coating and juicy meat. I primarily do carry-out and the quality of their take out is equally as good as when dining in the restaurant. Pick-up is smooth and fast, as they have a separate entrance and room for take-out. The staff is friendly and very professional. The service has that family owned business feel. If you're a fan of Onion Rings, I recommend enjoying an order as an appetizer. Their rings are super big and made in house. I do not like onion rings that come from a bag. When ordering my sides, I like mashed potatoes with white gravy. They also offer brown gravy, if that is your thing. My other side is always green beans. They make their green beans with bacon and onion. It reminds me of my momma's. With those two sides, it is a true Sunday Chicken Dinner on any day of the week. I've been coming to Castelli's my entire life. I started coming here as a child when it was called, Moonlight. Many of the locals still call it, Moonlight and no-one will correct them, because we all know where they are talking about. Service in the carry-out room is always speedy and friendly. So if you're a fan of fried chicken, I recommend ordering on-line for a pick-up. Or, treat yourself to a night out and dine in the restaurant. Remember to order the onion rings.
