I read your response to my Yelp Review and while I like that you advocate for your employees, you clearly do not want to take accountability for your staff's inactions. Needless to say, we will not come back to your restaurant moreso because of your attitude. 1) The hostess did not look up my reservation. There were 2 reserved tables in the front of the restaurant and 1 of them was a booth. She clearly did not do her job when I told her I made reservations yet, you do not apologize for that. 2) Your staff only asked us once how things were. They never came back to give us water or a check until I flagged down a server. 3) Your cook failed to make my to go steak the correct temperature but you fail to acknowledge/apologize for this. 4) I think I already mentioned that my husband did not bother to let the server know about his burnt vegetables so yes, I acknowledge that we should have brought it to their attention. However, the vegetables should not have been burnt to begin with. Please do not patronize your customers without knowing the entire story.

I just wanted to take a moment to share how grateful I am for our experience at Bossa Nova this past Friday! This location has been my absolute favorite for the past couple of years, and I always make it a point to bring friends who've never been so they can experience the amazing ambiance, hospitality, and of course, the delicious food. This time was extra special because we were celebrating one of my girlfriend's birthdays, and as always, Bossa Nova did NOT disappoint! A huge shoutout to Noeli, who truly made our night unforgettable. He was the absolute sweetest, so attentive, kind, and on top of everything the entire evening. He made sure we were all taken care of and even recommended some incredibly yummy drinks (which were very hard to resist by the way ). He played such a big role in making my friend's first experience so memorable, we're already planning our next visit! It's because of servers like Noeli that places like this continue to thrive. His attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine hospitality are exactly what keep us coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful night filled with laughter, amazing food, and delicious drinks!

I really liked my experience here - it's in a great spot on Sunset Blvd., they had very good food and a fun ambiance. I hadn't been to Bossa Nova in many years and, upon arrival, it felt like coming home. We were warmly greeted immediately seated in a lively, yet easygoing environment. I ordered their Traditional Chicken from their "grill" selection of food and it was great - tender, flavorful, and juicy chicken. I appreciate that they give you flexibility by having the customer choose the side dishes, which are included with the plate - the grilled vegetables, fried plantains, and power grains were perfect! Everything really tasted of good quality. My first experience at a Bossa Nova was in 1998 and it's great that the food is still good after all these years.

very good for price, chicken plate was only $22, pasta $23, drink $16. Very flavorful, would go back.

    needle found in Salmon Bowl

Genuinely I used to love this place, but there was a 2in needle found in my food after they catered to our office. I nearly swallowed it, but i ripped it out of my throat mid conversation with my coworker. My general manager contacted the establishment and they first accepted blame but then doubled back to say they we had no proof. The proof was this meat needle that was in my throat! It was such a horrible and confusing experience and I wanted to let people know this could happen to them. Careful with the Salmon bowls. Edit: My evidence was the scratch down my throat and an ER visit. I think a $700 refund was absolutely fair, especially when your manager said it was their fault. That's an insane take and I hope you all know that.

Fried yucca was over cooked unfortunately but usually great

Consistent with others! The difference is the view of La from the parking lot in the back which is amazing! Food is consistent and service too! Great for late night vibes. Coaxchina is always a vibe as is the chicken kabob meal and that yucca flour is the best! Love it! Parking is easy as there's a huge lot in the back.

    Chicken Madeira - Lunch Special

(8.7/10) Bossa Nova has officially earned a spot on my regular rotation, especially for their lunch specials. The chicken stroganoff was the highlight for me creamy, savory, and such a unique flavor profile compared to what I'm used to. The way it paired with the rice made it feel like the two were meant for each other Honestly, it's one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-bite and go, "Wow, this works." I also tried the chicken Madeira, which came with perfectly cooked asparagus The chicken itself was tasty with rich gravy, but since chicken Madeira is one of my favorite dishes, I hold it to very high standards. I personally prefer Cheesecake Factory's version . Next time, I'll probably skip the Madeira dish & try their famous traditional chicken and maybe even some Brazilian chimichurri for that extra punch. generous portions, solid quality, and a price that makes it easy to keep coming back For West Hollywood, that's a win. It's rare to get this kind of value without sacrificing taste. Good parking too! Would I come back? Absolutely gave me a whole new appreciation for Brazilian comfort food

I was in town for my friend's birthday and decided to stop by for dinner. My friends both ordered pasta dishes that they both enjoyed. I got the BBQ Bacon burger with a side of fried plantains. The burger was flavorful, bacon was crisp, the fried plantains were soooo perfectly cooked and delicious. I really enjoyed the whole meal. The drinks were good as well. The only downside is that we initially were seated inside because it was chilly outside, but our table was close to the door and people kept leaving the door open so it was freezing. Eventually we asked if we could be moved to an outdoor table next to a heat lamp and that was okay.

It was my first time coming here and I had such a good experience. My steak came out hard but when I told my serve Freddie he was so kind and took it back and brought me a whole new plate sides and all. He was so kind didn't make me feel bad about sending my food back at all. He was graceful about it. I was just expecting the steak to come back remade but he really went above and beyond and it truly made my first experience here so good. Also look at these portions!! So good!

I like Bossa Nova and have been a customer for probably 15 years. I frequency the old West Hollywood location. What I don't understand is why their prices keep going out but portions keep getting smaller. I order the stroganoff this evening with two sides. They have me a huge portion of mashed potatoes but barely any stroganoff. It's a side for a reason. The largest portion should be the entree. And on top of that it's increased in price by like $5-6.

    Chimichurri & Picanha Na Parrilha
    Savvy G.

This location is decent. I came on a weekday afternoon and it was pretty empty. I ordered to go and got the Chimichurri & Picanha Na Parrilha, which is the broiled steak. I got it cooked medium well, and it was really good. It came with mashed potatoes, crisp onions, and asparagus and that was all really good too. There was a bit of a wait time for it to be that empty, but the food was good. My colleague ordered chicken Alfredo and she said it was decent.

This place has such a nice back patio where I like to sit. The inside of the restaurant is very small and can get crowded. The servers are always so pleasant and the food is always delicious. They cook the food well and they have the most delicious hot sauce! The burger is also always cooked perfectly medium rare and is bloody and juicy. The dessert was so sweet and gooey.

We walked around and looked at different restaurants. When we found Pampas we noticed that you grab a tray and walk around and self serve the different food items that were offered. When you get to the meat section you tell the person working behind the counter what you would like, they cut off the meat, put it on the plate and you move on. They weigh your plate and then you pay. For my meal I tried several different types of meat, a stew, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, and rolls. It was a lot of food and very filling. The meat was definitely the best part of the meal. I chose to get two different types of beef, a serving of stew, and some chicken. Both the beef and the chicken were tender and full of flavor. The stew was delicious. I actually served it over my rice and mixed it together for added texture. The pasta and the rice were al dente and honestly I would have preferred them to be a little more tender than firm. The potatoes were good. They had a slightly salty flavor and were smooth. The rolls were good as they were small, with a semi crispy exterior and a soft interior. Overall Pampas Grill is located in a cool outdoor atmosphere. It has friendly service and the food was very filling and flavorful.

I'm not sure if they over-season their food, but the salt really overpowered the flavors. I'm glad we finally stopped by and tried it, but the saltiness was definitely the biggest takeaway from our visit.

The very first thing our server asked wasn't what we wanted to drink or if we'd ever been there before--it was, "Are you guys here to watch the game?" We immediately told him, "No, we're here for the food." Looking back, that should've been the first warning sign. They brought out fresh bread with chimichurri, and honestly, it was delicious. It got us excited because we thought- maybe this place really did deserve the hype. That excitement lasted about five minutes. We asked our server what everyone comes here for, and without hesitation he said the skirt steak. Since we wanted to try their specialty- meats, we ordered the Plato Mixto, one of their premium platters. It came with skirt steak, New York steak, Argentine "Italian" sausage, half a chicken, and sweetbreads. It's already one of the most expensive items on the menu, yet they still upcharge an extra $4 per side, if you want one of the "premium" sides. At that price, you'd expect everything to be included and quality to be exceptional. For the sides, we chose the grilled veggies, which the server said included eggplant, zucchini, tomato, onions, mushrooms - basic veggie mix and LALAs Potatoes, described as "Mashed Potatoes & Carrots." We figured that meant mashed potatoes served with carrots, or maybe mashed potatoes with pieces of carrot mixed in. Instead, it was one orange puree--mashed potatoes blended together with carrots. No flavor. If that's what you're serving, just describe it that way. The menu there was very misleading. Then came the sweetbreads. We had to ask our server twice what they actually were because he couldn't explain it clearly. Eventually he described them as "lymph nodes." Whether that's technically accurate or not, that's probably not what anyone expects to hear after taking a bite. Then we actually started eating. The Argentine sausage had a strange, almost spoiled flavor. When we mentioned it, instead of acknowledging our concern, our server doubled down and told us it was supposed to taste "rancid." I've eaten authentic Argentine food before. This wasn't it. It tasted like bad meat. The steaks were no better. We ordered medium rare, but the skirt steak was practically purple raw in the middle. Beyond that, both steaks were unbelievably tough. Every bite was a workout. For a restaurant that's supposed to specialize in grilled meats, that's inexcusable. Very low quality red meat. The chicken didn't save the meal either. I've had incredible pollo a la brasa and grilled chicken from plenty of places. This wasn't even close. It was bland, dry, and completely forgettable. When our server came back and asked how everything was, we were honest. We told him we really weren't enjoying the food. Instead of apologizing, offering another option, or trying to make things right, he doubled down again. "That's my favorite thing on the menu." Okay...and? Then he told us to squeeze a bunch of lemon over everything and brought us what felt like half a bottle of Tabasco. Think about that for a second. If the solution to your signature meats is to drown them in lemon and hot sauce just to make them edible, that's not a customer problem--that's a kitchen problem. By that point, it all clicked. The first thing he cared about was whether we were there to watch the game. We told him we came for the food, but the entire experience felt like the food was an afterthought. The service wasn't interested in listening to our concerns, only defending them. This place may be great if you're looking for drinks, sports on TV, and somewhere to hang out. But if you're coming because you've heard this is the place for authentic Argentine meats, prepare to be disappointed. The meats were tough. The sausage tasted off. The menu descriptions were misleading. The service felt more like a used car salesman trying to convince us our experience was wrong than someone who genuinely cared whether we enjoyed our meal. I don't write reviews to tear places down. I write them to help other people spend their money wisely. In this case...save yours. There's far better places to try authentic Argentine cuisine, this is not it, would not return.

One of my favorite things is that instead of a traditional salad bar, they bring around a cart whenever you want during your meal with sides like cream corn, rice, beans, mashed potatoes, salad, cheese bread, beef stroganoff (which is AMAZING), and more. Everything feels fresh and comforting. Also, parking in Koreatown can be a nightmare, but they validate parking so it's only $2 which honestly feels like a miracle in that area. So much love for this place. Amazing food, amazing people, amazing experience every time.

My friends and I stopped by on Saturday around 6 PM and were able to get a table right away! The…read morerestaurant is family-owned by immigrants, and everyone here was incredibly kind and attentive. Service was also impressively fast--staff constantly made their rounds, so we never had to flag anyone down. The quality and variety of the food are comparable to M Grill, but at almost $30 less, which makes this place a great value. I recommend trying a little of everything! The waffle cheese bread is a must. The steaks were juicy and cooked well, from medium-rare to medium-well. I do wish the meats were a little more seasoned, but the variety of sides and salads helped balance everything out. They serve three salads at the table: marinated onions, pico de gallo, and a regular salad. Definitely helpful when you're trying to survive all that meat For parking, there's a parking structure behind the building with plenty of spaces. You'll need to get validation from the restaurant and pay a $2 fee. I forgot to take more pictures because I was too busy eating, which honestly says enough. Definitely worth checking out if you're craving Brazilian BBQ without the M Grill price tag!

The food is okay, but not up to standards, especially for the price. The service is great. The staff is very nice--that would be the staff behind the buffet and counter. I have no idea who takes care of the tables. We had to clean our own table. There was not a clean one there. The seating is comfortable. The place is pretty clean, but not close to great. Parking is super easy in the Culver Center lot. It is located in an outdoor mall. My husband ordered a lot of the meat, which they claim is great. It is not. It is dry and tough. Most of his plate was left full. Their sirloin cap, chicken, lamb, and garlic beef were just not good. As you can see my the photo of what I got, I knew this was not going to be good by looking at it. So, I had rolls, rice, chicken and potatoes. The rolls were dry and would have been great, had they been fresh. They were not. The rice was fine. The chicken was okay. For this price this place should be great. It is not, so don't bother.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Nice variety of sweet and savory empanadas…read more I was looking for a light meal at the farmers market and their empanadas caught my eye. I got a Beyond beef (juicy and flavorful) and a Pineapple cream (not too sweet, with large pineapple chunks in an amazing custard cream sauce). The pastry was a bit dry for the savory one but not for the sweet one--apparently the slight dryness is a good complement to the gooey filling. They obviously have more options for non-vegetarians, but it's a good spot with something for everyone. Fast, friendly service too.

It is gonna take a half an hour. There are two locations of Nonna's one is located in the Grand Central marketplace in downtown Los Angeles. This location is at the Fairfax original farmers market. What started out as a five star review for this Place ended up being a two star. I came to the counter and asked if they were going to have any more Samosa Veggie. I was told it would take a half an hour so I sat down and waited for a half an hour, went up to the counter and asked do they have any available? They said the guy that baked them just went on break and it's gonna take another 20 minutes. That is totally unacceptable for them to tell me they would have some in a half an hour and then completely ignored me and just went ahead and did their own thing. THEY LIED TO ME, so this place gets a two star rating. I'd I'd rather go to the location in downtown Los Angeles. Don't ever come to this location. I can see why they got a low rating overall.
