Perfect place to get some protein heavy meal! My wife and I were regulars here for a balanced meals on lazy nights. Highly recommend the picanhas, salad, and rice. It never disappoints. We usually do takeout, but sitting down was nice too! There's plenty of parking, so if you're not within walking distance you can drive into the lot. It can get busy during evening hours so expect to stand in line.
Disappointed at this Pampas grill location because the one on 3rd street was immaculate. I've tried this Culver City location more than 5 times because my work is one block away. From all those 5 times I've tried I was either disappointed or felt some regret eating here in the first place. First off, meat when ask for medium rare always comes out undercooked and takes me 50 chews to swallow the meat. Second, the taste isn't quite here for the garlic beef and I love getting garlic beef from the other location. I don't know if they got a different recipe in this location but sadly it's below my taste expectations. I even think the big branch La Vaca has better meat quality than this Culver City location. I had high hopes for this location because it's next to my work. I guess I'll just eat Panda Express next door...
Ever wanted Brazilian BBQ without the AYCE and stress of eating your money's worth? Pampas Grill is the place to go when you just want a casual, DIY Brazilian BBQ experience without hassle. They weight by pound with fair prices, as you will get your craving for a lot less than an AYCE spot. Came here on a Friday for lunch around 11:30AM with no line, but the place does get busier as it gets closer to lunch rush. The sirloin cap is the best cut IMO, with it being perfectly seasoned, juicy, tender, you name it. The tri-tip is also a solid pick if you're looking for a different cut. You literally cannot go wrong with any cut of meat tbh, and my mouth is watering just writing this review. Their vegetable bar is also pretty stocked, with things ranging from braised beef to garlic noodles to salads. Like the meat selection, you cannot go wrong with any selection. Although you may be tempted to get only meat for the best bang for you buck, some carbs and vegetables are necessary so you don't feel sick from all that protein. A must have for when you have the craving without the committing. Ever since I had them a few years ago for the first time in the Grove, I just find myself coming back whenever I need to satisfy my craving for Brazilian BBQ. A solid $20-$30 will fill you up, and I look forward to coming back here in the future.
I like Pampas Grill's format. It's not AYCE like Fogo de Chao that inspires gluttony and is expensive. It's served/offered by the pound in advance and can be "to go" or "dine in" I'd say this too... you can easily dine in, then if you want more, just get back into line and order more, easily. The quality has always been spot on for me. I usually go to the location at The Grove's Farmer's Market, but that's a lot of traffic and expensive parking (even with validation), so this is now my new "destination dining" location when craving Brazillian Steak. I stick with the beef meats over the pork, chicken, lamb or sausage because the PICANHA (sirloin cap aka coulotte) is my all time favorite cut with a balance of natural fat and moist tenderness when served medium rare. Parking can be a challenge as it's in a huge popular complex, but it's doable with patience. The service is "self service" counter service, so it's fast and easy. The side salad entrees to add to this buffet style presentation is robust. The meats are constantly cooked slowly and fresh.
I found this Brazilian churrasco food very good! You pay for what you put on your plate. You'll start with the salad bar and end with the meats. I liked the picanha, chicken and garlic beef. They will charge you 3% if you use your credit card. Ambiance is great! Both indoor and semi-outdoor tables. Bar available. Plenty of TVs to watch sports like the World Cup games.

When I'm cutting, I can keep it lean with veggies and salad from the bar and still walk away completely satisfied. Because it sits out and isn't fresh it's cold or dry or both. The meat is fresh, hot, and well cooked. Lamb was super dry but the sirloin was delicious. They weigh by the pound so again just get meat.

Upon walking in, make sure you put on some gloves and choose either the Togo box or dine-in plate. The price is based on the weight of your entire plate so it can get pricey fast (don't worry the plate's weight is not included). Start with the salad, fruit, and sides bar then you can let the server know at the meat cutting station which cuts you would like and how you'd like it. I like their variety of sides from avocados to fried bananas, fried Yuka, tomatoes, rice, beans, cheese bread, collard greens and more. I love their fried bananas, cheddar broccoli, and their fried fish. Although the last time I went, the fish was soggy and not flavored at all. For the MEAT, I'm always a medium rare type of gal. I've tried: - PICANHA: the most tender imo! - GARLIC BEEF: very flavorful with chunky garlic salt, you have to get the whole cube - TRI TIP: a bit on the tougher side but still good! - TOP SIRLOIN: tender as well, more on the rarer side Will def be back :3 pampas cuts of meat always hits the spot for me and I love the convenience of being able to get some quality meats to go or dining in without having to wait too long in line.

I love the Brazilian kilo restaurants where you are charged by weight and can take as little or as much as you want so are not stuck paying a high all you can eat price. Whenever I'm in the LA area this is my go to spot. I've been here a good 15-20 times at least and manure have one bad experience. The rest of the time the food has been great, the ambiance is nice. I stick to the picanha and sometimes the tri tip, both medium rare. I have never had an overcooked or undercooked piece. I am not what some comments refer to about the meat being overcooked because you can tell then what you want. You see it as they cut or so could speak up if you wanted more or less done.

I ask for it medium well and it is soft and flavorful. At the end of the line, the cashier weighs your plate, and customers are charged per pound. It is a bit on the pricier side as the plate in the image below cost about $19, but it was delicious and fresh.

i've been going here since i was a baby, the food is amazing and it's very easy service. i love the vibe there it really reminds me of home. the pao de queso is always soft and the pichania is very good
We came here after a successful shift at work and really craved the mouthwatering selections they had. After waiting in line with others who were anxious to dive in to what this glorious place had to offer, we got several meats and were able to sit in an area where we could listen to both the beautiful live music and the exciting Dodger game. We sat at a table that was in the middle of all the entertainment and we did not regret it. As everything else was drowned out while we conversed with each other, we continued to share our thoughts after tasting the different items. We stayed till it got dark outside and enjoyed our time there while experiencing another Dodgers victory! Thinking about it makes me want to go back to grab another plate, but it will be worth the wait once again prior to our next visit. read more

We were so looking forward to the buffet at Pampas Grill in Culver City. We love a great buffet. We were so disappointed. We won't be back. The food is okay, but not up to standards, especially for the price. The service is great. The staff is very nice--that would be the staff behind the buffet and counter. I have no idea who takes care of the tables. We had to clean our own table. There was not a clean one there. The seating is comfortable. The place is pretty clean, but not close to great. Parking is super easy in the Culver Center lot. It is located in an outdoor mall. My husband ordered a lot of the meat, which they claim is great. It is not. It is dry and tough. Most of his plate was left full. Their sirloin cap, chicken, lamb, and garlic beef were just not good. As you can see my the photo of what I got, I knew this was not going to be good by looking at it. So, I had rolls, rice, chicken and potatoes. The rolls were dry and would have been great, had they been fresh. They were not. The rice was fine. The chicken was okay. For this price this place should be great. It is not, so don't bother. read more

I've been here a couple of times now (2 or 3 visits), and every experience has been great. The concept is spot on--you get to pick exactly what you want, and everything is fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. The meats are juicy and tender, sides are always tasty, and the portions are generous. Service is quick and efficient, and the overall vibe makes it easy to enjoy a relaxed meal. Definitely one of my favorite spots for Brazilian-style food in LA, and a place I'll keep coming back to! read more

Came here for Friday lunch with friends. Solid option for people who want Brazilian bbq but don't to shell out for an expensive ayce place. I was perfectly full at the end and got all the options I wanted without having to wait around for it. Food itself was tasty but could be better seasoned. The sides at the buffet have a good variety but mainly help balance my meal. I came for the meat and was really glad we get to choose exactly what cut and cook we want. I got the lamb, the top sirloin, and the picanha (sirloin cap). The medium rare to medium pieces were mostly tender, but wow way too much salt on some of the cuts. I was very glad to have salad and more basic sides to even that out. Otherwise a tasty and fulfilling lunch that I would have again. read more

The amazing live band and the many sports TVs is such a great atmosphere to enjoy. Best in Culver. The prices have risen but still one of my favorite comfort spots in LA for good food and good time. The food quality is still great. Suggestion is to have one plate with just the salad bar and then a second with slight salad and all the meats. That way can save on the first plate per lb. Service is kind and quick. read more

This is a traditional Brazilian barbecue. Get in line put on some gloves and pick your food then you just pay by the pound. The pão de queijo foi excellent. Most of the classics where there the feijoada and farofa were on point. Services was friendly and the atmosphere was ok. Parking was a bit of a challenge but that's to be expected at a good restaurant with good prices. read more

As a Brazilian myself, I will have the say this is the most authentic Brazilian food in LA. The salad bar and hot foods are delicious, and the meats are grilled to perfection. I've been a regular for the last 2.5 years and go back to Pampas every week! read more

Delicious Brazilian BBQ, cafeteria style. Lots of vegetable and side options - I love the garlic rice and the potato salad. You choose your types and cuts of meat at the end, and it is cut for you, then your whole plate is weighed. Literally everything I've eaten here is good. Plenty of seating and located in same shopping center as Sidecar Donuts and Yogurtland for dessert afterwards! read more
I hadn't had a Brazilian feast in awhile and it was an easy choice between this place and the Vegan place across from it. I am too carnivorous for Vegan. I was impressed with this large, efficiently run restaurant. I like buffets and had my hot, fresh smorgasbord in minutes. I was excited to see the many delicious items and heaped palm hearts salad, olives, corn, fried catfish, beets(excellent), watermelon, luscious fresh avocado slices and beef stew on my plate. Of course, I couldn't pass up the star of the Brazilian buffet show: the delicious array of meats! I ordered slices of lamb, sirloin and plump sausage dumped on my crowded plate. And how could I pass up an exotic Bohemia malt beer to wash down the food party off my plate. The nice buffet man rang up my plate weighing who knows how many pounds because I was too busy focusing on cleaning every morsel off that plate for special delivery to my taste buds and stomach. $56 which was pricey but worth it to satisfy the Carnivore within. They now charge $1.25 per cheese bread ON TOP of charging by pound for it. You can do one or the other, but to do both-- and without any sign saying there is extra fee for bread-- is extremely scummy. You're effectively having to pay $30 a pound for bread. It's a pretty dense bread too, not like it weighs nothing. read more
