This place is our go to donut spot. We fell in love with the original spot off of Ray and Arizona Ave. We got hooked on the chocolate long johns way back. We sometimes special order them custard filled. I love their twisted glaze and the wifey likes the cinnamon buns. Kids can't get enough of the chocolate covered items. Very disappointing! I was so looking forward to enjoying some delicious donuts. I had a gift card that was sitting in my dresser drawer for a while and knowing that Bosa was going to discontinue them at the end of October, now would be a good time to use the card. My daughter and I selected some great donuts. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay, the gift card wasn't working on their machine. The workers were very nice but needed the owner to authorize the use of the card, so they got him on the phone. The owner said no. I asked to speak to him. He said he could not honor the card. It was Bosa's system that did not allow them to process the card. According to him there was no way they could honor this $10 gift card. He said no. My young daughter was very disappointed. I am very disappointed that after spending hundreds of dollars with Bosa in the past for my family and for people at the office, a $10 gift card was not being honored. This place is great, the doughnuts actually taste fresh. When ever I go to Dunkin doughnuts their doughnuts are stale and dry. I'm the morning it gets a bit busy. Parking was hard to find. But that isn't their fault. I noticed a review below states that there was bugs crawling all over the food. Flies everywhere and the place was dirty. BEST DONUTS EVER. I'm from California and I thought khrispy kreme donuts were good but my lord these are wayyyy better. The original is my favorite but all the flavors are good. The donuts are fine, but for some reason all area Bosa's are run by extremely grumpy, tired-seeming people. To give you some [extreme, but actually true] examples of the atmosphere: - they put up homemade signs with sharpie markers near the garbage cans, like "If the can is overflowing, do NOT put more in!" (Hello Bosa - did you know that normally, the store owner usually takes the trash out--not the customer?) - homemade signs with sharpie markers on the tables that say "Clean up after yourself!" (Hello there again Bosa - did you know that usually the store cleans tables, and makes the customer feel welcome and entitled as opposed to setting down 'you clean it up' rules?) Unlike every other donut store in the area, they refuse to provide bags for the donut boxes. Even for the tides of people going in there spending $30 bringing in donuts for the office. I mean REALLY ????? (Note - they'll offer you a used, tiny Walmart bag if pressed). More than a bit ridiculous.. Stingy, grumpy, unpleasant. Sure the donuts are good, but the atmosphere is so awful I'd choose Dunkin any day just to avoid it. read more

I do not recommend! The business offers 6 free donots when a dozen is purchased. We purchased a dozen and had to remind the sales person about the free items. She immediately chose 6 chocolate long Johns, giving us no choice in the selection. We paid and she did not offer a receipt. Why did she offer the customer before us a choice in the free items, and why did she immediately offer him a receipt? Let me start off by saying I think Bosa Donuts are the best. However, this location is the worst store EVER! We love Bosa donuts so much that my daughter decided she wanted to have them at her wedding instead of the traditional wedding cake. I chose this location because it was conveniently located between my home and the venue. FIrst off, like other reviews have said, the owner is not friendly AT ALL. Never said can I help you or anything. Just stood there waiting for you to say your order. So I placed my order, and not a small order mind you, $250 worth of donuts and donut holes. There was definitely a language barrier, so the owner had me write the order down to make sure they got the order correct. So the day of the wedding came and I went to pick up the donuts, and even after she had me write it down and her repeating the order back to me three times the day I placed the order, she still got it wrong. And not only was the order wrong with the wrong flavor donuts, but the donuts were stale. The donut holes were so stale that we were embarrassed to serve them and had to run at the last minute to another Bosa store right by the venue to buy more. The donut holes from the other location were exactly what you would expect a Bosa donut to be- light and airy and melt in your mouth. I would avoid this location at all costs. We had visited this place many times, but today were treated badly. I wonder if this is new ownership. We have been shopping for several hours outside and are thirsty, hoping to get some drink here. I asked for a blended Thai Ice Tea. The lady looked at me with some type of anger and replied, " we don't have blended, just have that". She pointed to the wall post. I said " sure, that was OK too". Then she summed up the payment of $1.30 for the donut. I asked "What about the Thai Ice Tea?". She was really mad now and raised her voice, " We DON'T have blended! You said you want blended, we don't have blended!". I almost want to say " Why are you so angry?" We just walked in the door, how did we offend her in a few seconds?! My kids went in to get some boba drinks. We get boba drinks from the Gilbert & Williams Field Bosa and their drinks there are all right. My kids said the service was good, so I will give them 4 stars because they seemed to have taken quite some time to make 3 boba drinks. It does not take the other Bosa that much time. That's why a 4 star instead of 5 star. As for the Boba drinks, they were not very good and I give them a 1 star for this. The boba was really gross. I'm guessing they let the boba sit too long and they were just yucky. That detracted from the drink a lot. I asked my kids if it was an Asian making the boba drinks and they said it wasn't. I'm not saying that only Asians know how to make boba, but in this case, the only good boba drinks I've had were made by Asians. The Bosa at the downtown Chandler and the other Gilbert locations have Asians making the boba drinks and they turn out correct. If you let the boba sit too long, it's no good. But, I'm guessing Boba is not their specialty and donuts. We didn't want any donuts. read more

I come here every Thursday night after basketball to get donuts for Friday morning breakfast for my kids, and I can't express enough how rude these people (owners) are. I've had enough and will no longer go to this location or any location owned by them, which I believe is several because most of them are rude. I can go to a grocery store and get donuts. I don't need to put up with the attitudes and just plain disrespect. I'm not sure how these people have lasted this long acting like this towards customers. well, it started out a little disappointing when I went in (on Hanukkah) to ask for the traditional jelly filled powder donuts that anyone who celebrates Hanukkah eats on Hanukkah. They not only didn't have them but didnt know what I was talking about. Not exactly their fault as, obviously, they don't have many Hanukkah celebrators asking for these. HOWEVER, they so nicely redeemed themselves by right on the spot came up with a great customized solution. They jellied some other plain glazed donuts and then powdered them. A busy donut shop is a good donut shop b/c they are crankin out fresh donuts. Why only 3 stars? I got a dozen and for my last donut I asked for a few donut hole holes and she wouldn't do it. She said if you want holes you have to buy a dozen separately!! I mean, usually donut shops thrown in a few for free! Am I wrong here? I would give this place 4-5 stars because of selection, taste, price. Price is a little more than I would expect, but they are obviously fresh and taste great. We were used to living with a Dunkin on every corner, so going to a place like this seemed like we were taking a chance. Glad we did. Best "classic" style donuts place in AZ that i have tried so far. My fav is the buttermilk bar. Kind of a cakey donut (which i usually don't like) square shaped with sugar glaze and some tang. No real fancy or weird donuts here just really good standards. Haven't tried the drinks etc. I would say they got about 20 kinds of donuts, all generous portions. Went later in the evening and donuts still tasted fresh. No drive through at this location, its also on the small side but most times just stop in for the dozen and take off.
