Good deal on hot plate steak with fries for $10 but doesn't come with drink Restaurant has a lot of 2 seats not much for 3+ people Over 45 min for lunch. Service is good and seatings is pretty comfortable

The special thin steak with fries is very attractive but the steak is actually called a thin piece of beef instead of steak. Very disappointing. Casual setting and service is fast. All full at 4pm on holiday . The food is not tasty. There is private parking .

New chinese cafe opened at Langham Square! The spicy fish instant noodle was tasty and good level of spice! The $10 sizzling plate steak was good for the price. The black pepper sauce was tasty! Service was friendly. Ambiance was simple but comfy with two seaters and four seater booths! Will be back!

Once we were seated, the food came out in under 5 minutes for everyone, which was honestly impressive considering how busy they were. Prices are about average for an HK café and the food was decent. We all ordered the satay beef instant noodles (沙嗲牛肉公仔麵), so I can't really comment on the rest of the menu yet. The highlight for me was definitely the drinks. Both the Hong Kong-style milk tea (奶茶) and yuenyeung (鴛鴦) had a nice bold, authentic flavour that's getting harder to find these days. Overall, a solid spot for Hong Kong-style comfort food, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

It's better to avoid the queue in weekend. We ordered their delicious cart noodles (forgot to take photo), and two one-plate rice & noodles, all served with a hot or cold drink as a set meal. Presentations were nice, sizes were decent and more importantly the foods were delicious as usual. This is one of my most favourite Hongkong-styled cafes, I'll always come back.

We finally gave this place a try as the first time there was a long line up and we were too hungry…read moreto wait, but this time we arrived during quiet time so its good for us as there isn't much seating available. Its at the Langham Square plaza area not far from the Kennedy plaza on south of Hwy 7 Kennedy area. Here is what we ordered: Pineapple Bun w/Butter- $7.95 comes with hot drink Cheung Fun Noodles w/ Siu Mai Fish & fishball I believe- $9.45 with hot drink. Hainese Chicken w/Rice - $11.95 First off, the pricing of this place is really good and much less expensive vs other HK cafe we've been to. Secondly, everything we ordered is standard for most part, except, the hainese chicken rice which was the most common dish ordered and now we know why... The rice has flavour of the chicken oil and fat, and the chicken though not the most tender or slippery they call it in chinese, but good enough. The star was the sauce they provided which is 3 types: one sweet dark soy sauce like, ginger scallion sauce and their chili sauce... All these were very very tasty along with the flavoured rice! You must give it a try if you remotely enjoy cold chicken with these amazing sauces... I only wish they sell the chili sauce because that is very tasty!

It was my first time here, and the experience started off on the wrong foot. I had barely sat down, not even 30 seconds, before a staff member was already hovering over us trying to take our order. I hadn't even had a chance to look the menu yet, which immediately made things feel rushed and uncomfortable. The space itself is quite small, and they won't let smaller groups of two people or fewer sit in the booths, which adds to that cramped and slightly stressful atmosphere. There's people hovering nearby watching if you're almost done. Overall, the entire dining experience felt rushed from start to finish. The food is cheap, I'll give them that, but unfortunately the quality reflects that. I ordered a sandwich and it was sloppily put together. The bread slices were not even aligned properly, where the top slice and bottom slices were in opposite directions, making it so you couldn't pick it up. Flavour-wise, I was hoping for more of a Hong Kong cafe style satay beef, but this wasn't it. The curry was okay, with some decent chunks of meat and potato, but nothing particularly memorable. What really left a bad impression was the payment experience. Their debit machine defaults to 12%, 15%, or 18% tips calculated after tax, with no upfront notice or custom option. Tipping is not mandatory in Canada, and it should be up to the customer based on service. When we asked about it, the response felt as if we were being made to feel cheap over "just a few cents". Honestly it is not about the amount, it is about principle. If you are just looking for a quick and cheap bite, this place might do the job. But considering the long lines and how rushed the experience is, you might end up waiting longer than you actually get to sit and eat. Personally, I will not be coming back. I would rather get takeout or dine somewhere that lets you actually relax and enjoy your meal.

The food is good and the portions are big. Prices run a little higher than your average HK cafe, but the spacious dining room makes it worth it. Bonus: free parking in the nearby lot. A lot of their items come with a drink, such as lemon, iced tea or Hong Kong milk tea which is a great little bonus to the meal. Overall, if you're looking for food drinks watching sports events, getting together with friends or family this is a great casual family friendly environment serving great food overall, I would come back and recommend this place if you were in the Markham area!!

But despite of all those disadvantages, I still give it 5 stars because it has the PERFECT food! I almost dropped some tears when I tasted my first bite of the dish I ordered, stored fried beef with tomatoes and eggs. I think what it does best is that it adapt its dishes to use the local produce and meat, and still keep the legit HongKong food flavors. My wife ordered the stir fried instant noodles and it was full of pepper, mushrooms and soy sauce flavor. The menu is massive and packed with authentic dishes you don't usually see on typical takeout menus. We ended up getting the ham macaroni soup with a cheese ham sandwich combo, along with the O Street signature beef sandwich and fries from their new menu. Despite how busy it was on a Saturday, the food came out at a pretty reasonable speed, which I appreciated. The macaroni soup was just okay, very much the kind of simple comfort food that fills you up, but nothing especially memorable. I was most excited for the signature beef sandwich, but it didn't fully meet my expectations. The burger/sandwich itself was smaller than I imagined, and it only had about 2-3 pieces of beef brisket inside with marinated bell peppers and their homemade sauce. The sauce leaned sweeter than expected, which might work for some people, but personally I was hoping for something more savoury and more generous with the beef. However, the brisket was tender, which was a win... ish. Overall, still a decent spot if you're craving classic HK cafe vibes and variety, especially for a casual meal with family.
