Ordered 2 pairs of boots, box arrived UPS and only 1 pair in box. Still fighting with Boot barn!

Went into Boot Barn in Sparks looking for work boots. If you are a female...don't waste your time here! They had multiple aisles and a whole back wall of the store with a zillion styles, colors and brands of men's boots. One small section with only about 4 styles of women's boots. Beyond disappointing! My employer pays for these and I am going to be in there Monday and ask them to pull from Boot Barn. Red Wing, Work World and Becks at least TRY to stock women's boots. I ended up with a men's pair and only had two to choose from as they only had two styles in a men's 7 that I could wear. 500 hideous rhinestone belts but no women's work boots! News Flash! The hundreds of warehouses, multiple construction companies and manufacturing facilities employ women! Super disappointing! I was so annoyed with the lack of selection I didn't even want to look around for anything else. read more

Would like to start off by saying that I love boot barn, I shop here often and so appreciate that they give military and first responder discounts. I have never run across a rude or unhappy employee except for today. I normally would leave it alone and chalk it up to that person having a bad day, but this woman berated her coworker and I'm just not okay with that. My daughter had received cowgirl boots from here on her first birthday that didn't fit her. The gift givers had bought the gift a month before her birthday so by the time we got around to returning them it was too late. I understand we dropped the ball and were unable to make the exchange. However, I'm not okay with Taylor, the woman who approached us after her coworker wanted to see if there was anything they could do, and was flat-faced, rude and straight to the point of saying no without understanding our story. The boots were in immaculate shape, never worn, all the tags still on them and we had the gift receipt .. we were only a few weeks late on exchanging them. Fine, I get it, no returns after 30 days.. but when we walked away I heard her shout to her coworker who asked her for help, "You have to start telling people no! No one wants to tell people no anymore!" The young man she was yelling at looked to still be in his teens and this is probably his first job. Her behavior and demeanor is not meant for retail and really put a bad taste in my mouth. I hope she gets an attitude change or realizes that customer service is not her forte. read more

I'm not a regular customer of Boot Barn. I only come here once or twice a year to buy new work boots and maybe a high visibility jacket. Up until the other day, I've always gone to the Reno location where my experience with their customer service was mediocre at best. My experience at this location (Sparks) was nothing short of stellar. The employee that helped me (might have been the Manager) greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked what I was looking for. I told her my preferences and she found me a few pairs to try. I ended up getting in and out in about 10 minutes because of her help. The only real downside to this location that I can think of is their boot selection isn't as vast as the Reno store. The customer service, however, is much better here. So in my opinion, that far outweighs the only negative. I will be returning once I'm in the market for another pair. read more

Best place to get western wear. Plus, the service is amazing. They offer a wide variety of clothing and at a great value.

I came into Boot Barn to find some cowboy boots. I don't know how I am the only customer that wasn't greeted or checked up on as I was shopping. I was in the store for over 30 minutes trying on boots and an employee almost ran into me and didn't say a word to me. Maybe I don't look like their typical clientele, but my money is the same. I hope that in the future, this store will do a better job of serving everyone. read more

Zero Stars Horrible customer service to say the least. No greeting upon entry from any of the sales persons . Two walked past me without greeting me or or even acknowledging my presence. The store is practically empty so there's absolutely no excuse to why FOUR individuals did not greet a customer or even ask if there was anything they can help find. On my way out I made an effort to greet one lady and she practically ran past me and did not reciprocate the courtesy. Basic customer service 101? Perhaps that's too much to expect is Sparks Nevada!!!! I would not patronize this store and will be purchasing my Dan post boots directly from their website. I have never ever received such poor customer service in my 20 + years shopping at Boot Barns in California and Texas. If I were a first time patron with Boot Barn I would NEVER come back. Went into boot barn yesterday. Why is everything in the store so crammed together you can barely walk by? To add to it there was a lot of people in there, so you really weren't getting anywhere in that store. I did see a couple of sales people but they just don't talk to customers I guess. I couldn't get any assistance, if I really want something I'd rather order it online. Boot barn you might want to look into this and make some changes. read more

I give it two stars only because the girls that work there are friendly. The quality of clothing there are trash, my $80 pair of jeans butt blew out after 6 times wearing them, my $240 jacket buttons fell off. It's all made in China ober priced junk clothes. read more

Customer service: I cannot believe how rude these people were. As soon as we walked in to the store, the two workers there blatantly looked us up and down and frowned. Then asked in the most I don't want to help you at all voice "what are you looking for". Not "hey welcome in to our new store let me help" or any type of friendly welcome. Not the greatest experience. Many of the boots weren't priced and you had to chase down a staff member to ask. It seems like they sent all their higher priced merchandise to this location. When my mother and I inquired about a price for a pair of boots for her, the clerk started describing the boot and how much he likes it and we were like..'Dude, how much are the boots?' He went off the check and took so long, we finally started combing the racks to find a comparable pair. Parking is lot style and alright, but can be a bit dicey when you back up due to the spots being close together. I'm happy to see a Boot Barn here in Sparks, but am hoping they'll have more 'well rounded' pricing and better variety here. read more

Over priced. Just walk in, no one around. Wanted to try a shirt on and the fitting room is locked. Couldn't find anyone. Ended up buying the same shirt on eBay for $24 less. No western style sport coats. I usually shop at the Boot Barn in Antioch, CA. Seems to have better prices and always has someone around to help you. read more

Theres a new BootBarn in Sparks!!!!! Just stopped in, had to spend some money. Layout is very nice, tons of selection, and, theres a home decore section. The Reno store doesnt have a home decore section. Half tempted to go back and get them horns to put on my truck. Huge selection of boots, go figure, and hats. They have a decent selection of Cody James belt buckles and the best part, not a damn one of em is a California buckle. Staff was very helpful, though unneeded. They are donating to our enlisted, so when your checking out, dont be afraid to help our men and women who are overseas by donating an item from the box. So glad I don't have to battle the traffic to get to the Reno store anymore. read more

The moment you walk in the employees don't even acknowledge the fact that you walked in much less guide you to what your looking for. We were there for about 40 min and not once did they ask if they could help us find something. When we were ready to check out as I'm standing there right in front of the registrar with my items placed on the counter the two ladies that were attending the store were having a personal conversation and didn't ask us to wait or even say that they would be with us in a minute nothing instead we had to wait there awkwardly while being ignored until they were done gossiping. Unfortunately I don't plan on going back they clearly don't care to do business which is unfortunate because they have a very good selection in merchandise . read more

I was super excited to see a new Bootbarn and had to check it out. Store is clean and well organized; staff was nice and attentive with out being too pushy. However, the boot options were fairly slim for a store with Boot in the name. I saw only two square toe options from a Brand as huge as Ariat. Most boots are the blingy roach killers that all the "country girls" wear to concerts. I feel like Boot Barn as a corporation is catering more to the buckle bunnies and asphalt cowboys then people of country/western lifestyle. read more

So my family and I went yesterday - the 2nd day they were open. We walk in and staff seems friendly and they have this prize wheel. My daughter spins and gets a $5 gift card. I'm next and spin the wheel and it lands on a $10 gift card and the staff member says "NO, you need to spin it again and harder" I'm like "wow" so I spin again and it lands on a cup. She goes to hand me the gift card and I said "NO!" and walked away. We looked around but everything seemed over priced. We go to leave and a staff member is staring hard core at my mom, who was looking at the boots but never tried them on. We are walking out and this staff person looks at my moms feet like she was stealing something - she had on bright ass tennis shoes mind you. My mom looked at the staff person and said "REALLY!" Kind of pathetic- staff needs to be trained on customer service and how to watch for theft because that is NOT how you do it. Won't be back!!! read more
