First time at the boot barn it's not as nice as the Anaheim one or the Temecula one it's not very organized. Things are a bit crammed. It felt a little hard to find things. The hat selection is not as large as some of the other locations I went in looking for a pair of boots, ended up, walking out with a different type of food that I wasn't looking for, but it was on clearance and the person that helped me out, put a little bit of conditioner on them because one looked a little more worn than the others, which it looked good. It's just that the new one that wasn't tried on as much too new so it made it look like it was a different color because people handled the other ones with their hands more than the other one we put some conditioner on it let it dry looked at them. I decided I'll take them. I used my $15 credit that I had on my account and a $25 off store coupon so I got a pair of $200 boots that we're already discounted to 140 after they applied the coupons. The boots came out to around $120. It's pretty good for a pair of boots. I probably won't be coming back to this one just because of the way it looks inside. It feels like a Ross or similar type of shop. It's kind of messy the staff most of them aren't as friendly and personable as some of the other locations. I was only asked if I needed help twice by one staff member, and then once by another who will continue to help me the rest of the time they were pretty good. I walked by at least three other staff members, but none of them said anything to me. The selection of hats seems to be a little small. This is the first time I go to this location and the last one! I bought a pair of boots and when I was in line, two ladies were in front of me checking out. I noticed the cashier ( which I believed it was the manager) was being very rude to the ladies. So when it was my turn, the cashier asked me for my phone number for points. I told her I didn't want the points and she got upset because I didn't want to give her my phone number. After I paid and when I was leaving I noticed that the price from the receipt was not the same from the tag so I came back to tell her. At that moment the lady that rung me up was leaving to the back so I asked Maria why I was getting charged more and she told me that price changed but they haven't updated tags on product. She called the manager for an override and refund me money. So she came in and guess who the manager was... well it was the rude lady that rang me up in the first place. She did not wanted me to do the refund for price difference until I gave her my phone number and name. I finally agreed to enroll to the points program even though I wasn't happy about it. She handed me a paper for my signature and when I tried to read what I was signing for, she rushed me to sign without reading. I am not coming back again, they need to change management because that is not customer service. I work in customer service every day and I know that sometimes we are not in the mood to be helping but a good worker knows how to put that away and serve the customers. Came to this location looking for some female clothing and accessories. The service was great. The employees came around once in a while and asked if I needed assistance. I was not impressed by the selection of women boots they had. Also, I looked for XL female clothing and couldn't find anything. Not sure if it was a day when they were just out of stocked items or if covid has also had an affect on that. I'll certainly return here but I think the selection needs to be better. This store unfortunately is WAY overstocked with merchandise!! So much so that you can hardly maneuver the store while shopping or really see what is there because it's SO in your face. We came in with a stroller and couldn't get down any of the isles because boots were lining the floor. There is absolutely no way a handicapped person in a wheelchair would be able to navigate this store. There were so many cowboy hats that they were stacked directly in front of the mirror you would use to see yourself in the hat. After I got the hat I purchased home I noticed it was misshapen, probably due to the amount of hats that were stacked on top of it. I came in the very next day to have it steamed and reshaped. When I inquired about reshaping, the female employee at the front simply told me they were too busy for that. Her demeanor conveyed that she simply wasn't interested in helping me at all! Extremely disappointed. I bought jeans for my entire family several months ago. I had to come in a make several exchanges because my sons and my husband didn't like cut and/or color of what I purchased. No problem, after several trips back and forth, the tribe was happy with their selections. Unfortunately my 16 year old son got a defective pair of jeans. :( The Cody James button fell off and needed to be riveted back on. These jeans have only been worn a few times so I took them down to see if they could fix or replace them. The gal behind the counter stated that she would just see it on if she had a kit. Seriously? At $6 a gallon for gas, don't you think I would just see it on if that was possible? Wes, the store manger was left to make the executive decision, replace them and stand behind the product? Or send me home? He sent me away stating that he found a receipt on my Boot Barn Rewards but according to the receipt I returned that pair of jeans. I clearly stated that I definitely did not return that pair, as they were in my hand. He said that my purchase must not have reached my reward card and without it he couldn't replace the jeans. He could clearly see that the jeans are in great shape. My son is a skinny, 16 year old who wears his jeans too loose, so stress on the button is impossible. Store is small and inventory is not that good. Our shopping experience was uncomfortable. Or was 78 degrees outside and 98 in the store. They had the heater blasting. I used to buy my boots from Sears but since they closed the store I gotta go elsewhere. Thankfully there's a boot barn not too far from me and I decided to give it a shot. Normally I'd make a trip all the way to Moreno Valley just to get those exact same boots. Once you find a boot your comfortable with you never change it up (that's how I see it) but I didn't want to take a long drive up there for something that might be sold out or not in stock. Soon as I walked in I was greeted by one of the lovely staff members there. I explained what type of boots I was looking for and she walked me down the isle (awww, anyways) and explained what was there and if what I liked wasn't there she'd order it. Summary: Julie at the Riverside Boot Barn gave terrible service and didn't allow for me to get my money back for an online return when it had only been about a week since I'd received them. Go to the San Bernardino location, they have a much friendlier staff and much better selection. Details: I purchased a pair of boots on the bootbarn website and found that they didn't fit the way I had hoped. My mom and I went to this Boot Barn off Tyler about a week after receiving them in the mail to return them. When I got to the store I asked if they could hold my boots up front while I looked around. I ended up finding a pair of boots and some head bands I wanted. In the process of shopping around in the store I found the associate Julie to be very rude. When my mom asked if they had a pair of boots in a 7 Julie pointed out the areas where the 7s were but didn't help us look. Her attitude overall just wasn't good, and I felt as though she was following us around the store as if she felt we were going to take things. At the register I clearly stated I wanted to return the boots I had purchased and purchase the other items. She stated she needed the confirmation email. I wasn't able to find the email but I did have the online order receipt and she proceeded to say she needed the email which I didn't have. Finally she said she would call to get the order information which I think she should have offered to do the first time I told her I couldn't find it. She then "returned" the boots, rung up the other items and said I had $74 in store credit. I asked why I wasn't getting my money back and she said because I ordered on bootbarn. I then said "is there any way for me to get my money back?" And she said "No, you would have had to purchase them in our store to get your money back, you can only get store credit", again very rudely. I then called customer service right after leaving and they said she did not do the process correctly. They said the process for an online return is "lengthy" and she probably just didn't want to do all of steps, but proceeded to say there was nothing they could do about it. Long story short they said they would call me back, and never did (the customer service people didn't do their job). Finally I called the San Bernardino Bootbarn hoping for better service and they were more than happy to correct the mistake that Julie had made, offering to give me my money for the store credit! The return policy online says Easy In Store Returns. Julie should have done it the correct way, letting me know she would return the boots for me and I would get my money within X amount of days, and then rung up the other items separately. Instead she suck to her story claiming there was no way for me to get my money back. Absolutely horrible service, I will never take my business to this location again, and neither will my family who have buying work boots there for years. read more

Well this location tonight took "self-serve" to new heights. NOT once did the two employees stop talking to each other or leave the cash-register area. I was there at least 20+min trying on at least 6 or 7 pairs of boots,within eyesight by the way,never offered any help. Even two other customers asked for help,and didn't seem like they did much other than point in a direction. Not sure if they are really practicing social distances this way,but when I finally found a pair to purchase they were pretty indifferent toward even checking me out. Glad I don't need boots but every few years... Came in to buy a pair of plain leather sole boots, did not get any help for 30 minutes. When I finally did get help the sales associate tried convincing me to buy square toe when I explicitly said I wanted round. Then she tried telling me I was a size 8.5C when my other pair of boots are a 10B. I would try them on to shut her up and she continued to tell me they would stretch and be perfect. No, boots aren't elastic. She obviously didn't know what she was talking about. Bought a pair online, didn't care for them and tried returning them here. The manager was very rude and told me she wouldn't return them because they've been worn. The boots still had the tags and were only tried on for a few minutes to determine if I liked them or not. So I'm going to stagecoach the upcoming country music festival at the end of April and I was looking for my FIRST pair of boots ever. I had no idea how to find which ones I wanted, how they are supposed to fit or any of the sorts. I walked in and was greeted by Alejandra who gave me some of the best customer service I've ever had. She was so helpful the whole time and I basically explained to her what I wanted and after about four pairs of trying on boots she brought me the ones that I took home the next day. She sat there and also explained to me how to take care of them in the mean time and ways to keep them clean etc. All over a great experience at this location can't wait to go back for my many pairs to come.
