For 20 years I have purchased SAS shoes.. A few months ago spent $400.. They measured and although I felt the shoes we're a bit snug the salesman assured me it was the right size. I recently decided to use them. It caused pain. My podiatrist said it was the SAS Shoe. My wife's shoe fell apart & mine the wrong size. Management refused to discuss a resolution. I did not expect a refund but a possible discount on buying the right size m repair of my wife's shoes that had fallen apart. Their policy is you bought it it's your problem. The owners have no people skills, quality assurance or good customer service. I recommend to looking somewhere else for a good shoe. I'm sorry I walked through the doors. read more

This shoe store has great shoes for people with foot problems, such as swelling. The staff is very accommodating. My brother in law bought shoes there and had to exchange them. My brother in law has a hard time getting in and of the car due to his legs. Jim at SAS shoes was so awesome, he came out to the car with the correct size and helped us get the right size right there in the parking lot!! GREAT customer service!! We had such a great experience at SAS Shoes (Riverside location). The employee that helped us was Emilio. He was very nice and very helpful. He measured our shoe size and found out that one of our residents has been wearing the wrong shoe size. The shoes are expensive, but then again your paying for the quality of the shoes. I was hesitant to come to this store because of the bad reviews I had read prior, but this was the closest location to us. Those bad reviews don't do this place justice. Couldn't be happier with my new dream slip ons. Absolutely the most comfortable pair of shoes. I am on my feet for 12 hours a day. I've tried every brand of comfort shoes know to man or woman. There is a big difference with distinguishing the comfort of an SAS shoe and the people skills of the people who work in the Riverside store on Magnolia. I have been buying SAS shoes for many years and I wear nothing else and I am so pleased that SAS has finally expanded their line of shoes. But... I started going to the SAS store in Riverside a couple years ago and at first I thought I could just overlook the lack of communication and interpersonal skills the people who work there lack and get shoes - but the last time I was there I could not overlook the treatment from a male chauvinist worker. He had insulted me before and I ignored him as a male chauvinist "little man" who was trying to show off his "greatness." A couple weeks ago I went in to buy a pair of shoes and I ignored him. He was working with two Mexican women and speaking to them loudly in Mexican - joking and laughing. A couple times he attempted to let me know he was busy when I was already working with the other man that was there. I ignored him. Finally the "other man" had to call the other store and he went behind the desk which is a large open area and the male chauvinist was behind the desk blabbing away in Mexican and keeping an eye on me. The man using the phone started talking to me and he asked if I wanted to go ahead and get the shoes from another store. I had my business card where they could call me and he stuck his hand out to me to get the card. Rather then loudly speak to him I stepped forward just a few steps and passed the man my card. Mr. male chauvinist turned away from the two women he was talking to and said to me, "You go stand over there!" and pointed away to another area away from the desk. Then he went back speaking Mexican and laughing to the two women. He was waiting for his important move and made it to an English speaking women. I had the same thing with him at Christmas time. I took my cousin there for a pair of shoes for Christmas and I was getting another pair. My cousin got the shoes and "little" male chauvinist was fitting her and I walked over to her and showed her a new pair that I was getting. Little male chauvinist looked up at me and said, "I am busy now you wait and I will work with you." My cousin looked at him and said, "She is paying for these." I left a message for the manager and she called and I understood that they were giving me $50 off on the shoes. When my husband and I went in to pick them up the older gentleman could not find them. We found them on the shelf. He knew nothing about the discount and was calling the woman to find out when "little" male chauvinist again working with customers at the counter interfered and said, " $15.00." He kept repeating that even though he was working with a woman. I finally looked at him and said, "Mind your own business you caused this problem to begin with!" He was laughing and even though he was working with a customer he kept interjecting! We left and Frieda called and left a message that the discount was $15. If I had known that to begin with I would never have gone back. $15 is not worth giving that low life the satisfaction of insulting me. The question I now have, is that man legal to work in an American business? He certainly is not qualified. Insulting customers and bossing women around! Call SAS and you can order directly from them and they are great to deal with. Just because he has "worked there a long time does not mean he has people skills." He is rude and condescending. Look at the other reviews. The people who are positive are relating to the shoe not the service. Where are the owners of this store? Call SAS directly and they will help! read more

Got a great pair of shoes from here while on vacation. They were perfect from the start. It felt like I had bedroom slippers on and there was "no breaking" in period. I did a lot of walking on my trip and the arch support was wonderful. No tired feet at the end of the day. Great shoes for people on their feet all day or for people with foot problems.
