I wandered through the store, browsing as I went. I didn't see anything worth noting or getting. The layout of the store was familiar to competitors. The departments are defined and easy to find/navigate. Pricing seems to be about the same as competitors. Selection, at least to me, appears to be limited. I really did not see much that caught my eye. Before long, I found myself back to the mall entrance and out of the store.

She was also outright rude, acting as if she did not want to retrieve the customer's order. I asked for a manager; she resisted calling one and displayed an unnecessary attitude. When the manager finally came to the front, she was not helpful either. She did not look for the customer's order and simply told me it was not there. To justify not checking, she stated that she had already told the customer the store did not have the item they ordered. This store has EXTREMELY POOR customer service, and as an African American woman, I was led to believe that the behavior I experienced was prejudiced.

Well its October 2025, and it was like a Ghost town and the food court was by far the saddest one. I think only two places were opened on a Saturday. Lots of stores are closed and the parking lot was completely free. Not much selection now in terms of things. They still have some clothing stores left, but not sparse in terms of styles. The food court is actually clean because of the low foot traffic and someone is constantly cleaning the place. They do have Tesla superchargers here so its a good place to charge and walk around. The chargers are in the corner of the lot and typically just walking to the bathroom and back and most of the charge should be done so not really much time left to wander. It was sad to see and kind of made me feel like life has moved on from my childhood.

I ended up walking around in here looking for a good amount of time. I was surprised that I did find some items. What was a bit off putting were the lines at the registers. That is when you could find a register that was open. When you did find a register that was open you had to wait in extremely long lines. I mean it's one thing to pick up an item in one department but have to traverse to a completely different department in the store to pay for that item. I will say, the service here from the staff was impeccable. The lady that helped me had just delt with three difficult customers when it was my turn. That didn't bother her, she was still a gem to deal with. She was chatty and had a happy demeanor. I would go back to just interact with her.

Our visit was pleasant until we checked out at register #5 with Associate #152852 [receipt # 1267-05-9298-6305-7]. She packed everything into one bag, including the glass teapot. Concerned that it might break against the steel strainers, I politely asked her to remove it. She refused, explaining that the holidays were approaching and the store was short on bags. I understand supply constraints and would have been willing to compromise, but her dismissive attitude made us feel that serving customers was a favor and that we should be grateful she even packed our purchases at all. One note to Ross management and HR: you should be more particular to whom you hire as a cashier; they are maybe your first line of customer contact. We should not be treated this way. Ross has lost us as customers.
