Bought a pair of Wrangler jeans that the sales associate helped me with. I tried them on until I found the fit I liked. I brought them home, removed the label, washed on normal. Unfortunately, the waste shrunk 2" plus beyond what I experienced in the store. I brought them back in to share with the sales associate, who informed me this style of jean is 100% cotton and subject to shrinkage. 2" is beyond any concept of normal shrinkage, especially around the waste. If the first associated had informed me they "might" shrink, I certainly would have sized up, but he did not. Boot Barn does not take jeans back that have been washed (shrunk). Overall fail. Not shopping at Boot Barn any longer. read more

I never knew a place like this existed here in Escondido!!! What a wonderful place to find a great selection of Western boots and clothes in one place. The prices are very reasonable and there is so many boots to choose from. They have ample stock and the employees are very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. And the smell of the leather boots is intoxicating!!! read more

Just visited this location 6/30 in the mid evening, just went in to use rewards, when we walked in no one said hello, no one asked did we need help, not a word. Staff made us feel unwanted and uncomfortable, honest we went dressed to impress very relaxed that day but it was a very uncomfortable feeling. When we went to check out we showed the women the bar code for the rewards of $75 she said rudely answered as if we were dumb and didn't scan the phone, said she needed to do it on the screen and it's usually only 10-25 off, and then figured out we had more than that and we went on with the purchase. All staff that we came into contact with was rude and we will not be visiting this location again. read more

Felt tight across top of my left foot but thought maybe they'd stretch out so purchased. Got home and thought id better wear them around the house to be sure. No, it was too tight to take a chance $240. boots. Returned next day all tags on in new condition. Refund issued still waiting. Boots are 20% more than other option. read more

Came in to buy earrings, most of the selection had missing jewelry from the packaging so I had to dig through to find a full set that I liked. On top of that, the girls that work there are low key rude & non-genuine. I'll stick to the Kearny Mesa boot barn instead, much more helpful and kind. read more

Called boot barn escondido to get my Stetson hat shaped and I was told that they do provide service and to come down. I show up and was told they are not doing hat shaping because it's too busy and it's not a priority. To come on the weekend. Jena or Jenni the manager told me this as her and her staff were talking to boyfriends or friends. I have always come to boot barn for boots, hats, clothing and they have always been very helpful but this time I'm really disappointed at the customer service when it comes to a service they provide at no charge. Only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because of the retail experience and not the customer service , especially from management. I will be taking my business somewhere else and recommending my friends and family to do the same. Sad to say you spend so much for a high quality product and get mediocre service. read more

Came into boot barn to find my daughter some jeans there was a man and women working. Neither of them offered to help or greeted us when we came through the doors. We spent about 20 mins looking for items but their demeanor was not approachable. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. Very unwelcoming. We will not be returning. read more

Woohoo! First review for this place! I work nearby and was running errands when I saw this location that I later learned just opened last week. I figured either it's new, or my observation skills are just diminishing with age. My old pair of Ariats from five years ago were in pretty rough shape, so I decided to stop by and check em out. I was greeted promptly upon walking in by several employees and it was pretty empty either because of the time, or because they're brand new and the word hasn't spread yet. Nonetheless, they had a full selection of boots and western wear and the place smells fantastic! Who doesn't enjoy the smell of leather? Although I had no intention of walking out with a new pair of boots, I quickly realized that I wasn't leaving empty handed. I was assisted by Bridgett in finding a new pair of cowboy boots to replace my old ones and she exceeded any service expectations I had. Frankly, it was probably the best service I'd ever gotten at a clothing store that I can recall. She gave me a few different size options and helped me find what was the best fit for me and explained what to feel for when trying boots on. It sounded like she has a background with boots as well as plenty of experience wearing boots. The pair of boots I selected resembles my old pair but with some characteristics I wish my old pair had had. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience and will definitely swing by for my next pair of work shoes or casual boots. Loveee this place & the staff, we've been coming in since October. Every time I go in to shop all the staff are friendly nice and helpful!! Selection is awesome, prices vary but everything is top quality! My husband and i went in looking for boots for him, (sidenote: my husband works construction, so boots are more comfy than sneakers) the gentleman who helped him pick his pair of boots was awesome! He asked what he was looking for (comfort), color, style, then gave him a couple of choices, and now my husband wears them daily & gets compliments all the time! I browsed the clothes and was so in love with everything. I got a blouse, a vest and some boots and they're are all so comfortable and beautiful I also get lots of compliments!! Not only was I helped to find the right size and style but they took the time to really help me with all my questions. So now I have cowboy boots and I am excited to wear em... After years of buying clothes and boots, we will no longer be shipping at boot barn. This past January I bought my wife a pair of $150.00 boots that to no fault of our were defective. When we asked about replacing them, were were told that we only had 30 days warranty. If you want the 1 year warranty, you have to buy the $800.00 boots. Buyer beware. Wear the heck out of them boots in 29 days. Cause if they don't last they don't care. Big Corps don't care about the little guy. Just those who can by $800+ boots. read more
