Particularly, Duluth Trading Co overalls. The pockets (so many!)! The comfort! The cute patterns! The flattering cut! The durability! The fit! Did I mention the pockets?? I did a count the other day and, uhmmm. I think I have a dozen of their bibs. Yes, I'm aware it's a problem. But I have so many different needs! One waterproof-ish one that I got for my trip to Zion and worked perfectly for my river hike through the Narrows, several pairs of heirloom gardening style in long pants and shorts, some solid colors as well as a few of the more whimsical patterns, etc. One denim, a few more "fashionable" varieties, etc. Dirt, clay, all of it just dust right off. They're so good, you guys! The heirloom bibs in particular are worth every penny but they have so many amazing sales and markdowns you'd be silly to pay full price. One day I was in my pottery class. Our classroom has a huge window that faces the street and people like to stop by and watch the potters in action. I was wearing a pair of my heirlooms (as per usual) and a guy came in off the street, peeked his head in the door, pointed at me, and said, "I know you are so comfortable right now!" And without a beat I said, "Duluth?" and he said "Heirloom" and the we laughed together then spent a solid 5 minutes talking about how great they are and convincing everyone in my class that they need a pair. Talk about an IYKYK moment! (Duluth, seriously, call me. I'd make a great spokesperson). My family has teased me over the last few years as I've acquired more and more but I'll tell you what, when I was walking around a rainy Greenfield Village H'alloween event I stayed nice and warm in my waterproof overalls, with the front pocket that perfectly housed my apple cider which I could easily sip through a straw, keeping my hands free for other uses. Anyway, my aunt watches me managing this outing with ease and says, "you know, maybe I should get a pair..." (she mocked me for my fanny pack 6 years ago too and look at where we are now!) Winning hearts and minds, y'all! Anyway, yesterday I went in and added 2 more shorteralls to my collection. One covered in small mushrooms and the other, a bright green succulent pattern. Both were heavily marked down so at least I'm strategic when it comes to my addiction?

They carry a lot of Kelly & Katie flats and heels and I am big into them since they feel and fit so comfortably. Bought some AK's that were super comfy. Been adhering to the rule of only purchasing shoes that fit at first try and walk. I found 3 pairs and for $143, not bad since I go through flats every year. Didn't have the silver metallic flats with no embellishment but the AK would take me far in the office for now. Loving the calf hair black/brown and cream flats, goes with tons of things, much better than the Dr. Scholl's leopard print I bought a while back. I think I buy about 3/4 of my shoe collection from DSW, the rest from boutique shops as I prefer unique wears when possible. Would have been better if I had more than a $5 coupon, oh well, there aren't usually many good coupons that I can use when I find a pair of shoes it would seem.

Crappy store policy not to honor their return policy. The owner did come out and state, only an exchange. Horrible policy! The sales gal was trying to help me and make conversation, and was nice. They were VERY hesitant and acted cold as though doing ME a favor. I was told I can be granted an exchange. I asked why I could not receive a refund and was told they didn't know why. So I asked for a store credit as I was pressed for time - then again the clerk went back to the nameless, faceless person in the back who had to grant permission for a store credit (yes, really). I do not recommend any merchant who does not take care of their customers when a purchase doesn't work out.

She stated a sales clerk doesn't have to tell a customer what's final sale as it's only a courtesy. I was at checkout and just completed a sale when I heard the other clerk tell another customer her item was final sale which prompted me to ask the sales clerk (curly hair white lady with a strawberry tattoo) who rang me up were any of my items also final sale. The manager was standing at the next register Hanging clothes in ear shot. When the clerk told me yes one item was, I asked to speak to the manager. The clerk stepped over to the manager telling her she had forgotten to tell me about final sale. The manager told me it's not the clerks responsibility to tell me if an item was final sale or not. I then said ok, then I will return everything that wasn't final sale. As the clerk was returning the items the manager said oh we can return the final sale item as well and then told the clerk to "just override it" so if it wasn't an issue to return and I'm supposed to know which items are marked final sale and which are not, why wouldn't she behave like a manager and say ma'am I can return it as we didn't let you know or you can try it on, up to you. The games of a woman of her age and her being a manager was disappointing. Hope she grows up. What a waste of a sale. Won't be back.
