1 star. Server was ultra sensitive and ruin a girls night out. Our server tried to serve a drink I didn't order. My friend ordered a drink that the restaurant was trying to pass off as a 32 oz beer when in reality was a much smaller size. We mentioned it to the server Autumn and I guess we hurt her feelings and the manger told us to leave. We were confused because the manger did not give us an option. She(the manager )couldn't have talked to her employee, transferred the check, anything else than to tell paying customers to leave.Of course we paid our tab. This is not acceptable and frankly whoever the manager was, she could have handled it more professionally than she did. One star. read more

NOT KID FRIENDLY We came after school for some food and 4, 3, 1 year old to get their energy out and I hadn't eaten all day. They were playing tag on the patio area and a regular at the bar decided to scream at the top of his lungs towards the kids. He ended with calling them "little f*ing bastards." Manager came and talked to us and said he would talk to him but they allowed him to stay serving him more alcohol. Apparently he's there most days drinking. Needless to say we left after being shown they value the neighborhood drunk over families. Will not be coming back. read more

I had the Poblano Smash Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, my husband had the Monte Cristo also with Sweet Potato Fries. Both were AMAZING! We also shared the Mozzarella Bites. Our server, Natalie, was exceptional! We sat out on the patio, perfect weather for it. They have Cornhole and Super Jenga, lots of fun. Margaritas are great, I recommend the Hornitos floater. I went there last week by myself. I waited over 12 minutes before someone approached me. The waitress had two tables, one beside me and one behind me. This place is great. Although it has only been open a short time, management obviously has their act together. Service is prompt and offered with a smile. The menu has a great selection for lunch and early evening meals, and the preparation of everything we have ordered is top notch. We've stopped by now for our third time. We went there today because it was a bit chilly outside and we had our dog with us. On days like today, their enclosed dog friendly patio is a nice place to be. Now for the most important part of the review...the bar. The drinks are crafted by well trained mixologists that make cocktails you can't get just anywhere. This place was a little disappointing, as soon as we walked in the hostesses took a bit to seat us down and once they did we didn't have any menus or silverware. The waitress then came and had to bring us menus to look at. Our waitress wasn't too attentive, she took a pretty long time bringing us our check and then our receipts. The food on the other hand was ok, we got bone-in wings and those were pretty good, nothing too special. The boneless wings on the other hand I wouldn't recommend, they're like tiny nuggets and were cold. The chicken was pretty rubbery too. Overall I'm not sure I would come again. read more

When a server tells you the special is a 32oz beer for 7$. Then return with a 20oz glass filled with what she says is 32ozs of beer. No ma'am! The restaurants lack of professionalism when the manager comes out to tells us to leave because the server Autumn had her feelings hurt due to the lack of training. Let me make this clear...... all we did was point out the mistake of ozs in a glass. We ordered our food and the manager comes to pull our food and ask us to leave!! This is unacceptable and could have been handled in a different manner or changed servers. I have been a happy regular here at Boomer Jack's sport's bar watching Astros, Texans, Aggies, Cowboys (friends), with the sound on the games. It was a great atmosphere with lots of fans. Loved the bartenders with a fun attitude. Even some of the managers were lots of fun! Unfortunately, today i had to go to another location for the Cowboys game because they had a DJ playing hip hop and other dance music at 11:30 in the morning, so loud we couldn't talk normal sitting next to each other at the bar. We stopped patronizing another sports bar because they decided they wanted to be a dance club more than a sports bar. I'm disappointed that another great sports bar has decided they want to be a dance club during sports games. Maybe one day they will go back to being a sports bar again! read more

First time here. We signed up for the rewards program and got a free Jumbo Pretzel with a side of Queso. Both the Pretzel and Queso were very good. My wife got the Southwest Quesadilla Chicken Salad. The salad was very good too. The salad was so large, it could have been divided up to feed 4 people. I got the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. The sandwich was ok. It came with Au Jus to dip the sandwich in. The Au Jus did not have any flavor. A side of Horseradish sauce or a spicy mustard would have made the sandwich so much better. The fries were soggy. The beer was cold and the wife's Rita was very good. The prices were good. The service was very good. We will give it another try read more

New place, so we decided to give it a try. The front desk is not so friendly nor the hostess seating us. No greeting or choice of table or booth. The booth is a step up. The waitress was kinda quite too. Ordered sweet tea & lemonade. The tea came unsweetened. Ordered an appetizer and our meals at the same time. The fried mozzarella came lightly breaded, crunchy, and tasty. The waitress came to get our order. Ah.. we already ordered! Burger was nice size and tasty. Fries good, too. The chicken fried steak was erroneously cooked as chicken. Had to wait for the correct order. The fried steak was soft but too thin. For Waygu, it wagu it was fatty and lacked flavor without the white gravy. Mash potatoes were a small portion. Came with bacon and chives. Luckily, I like it this way but was not asked if I did want it this way. Texas toast kinda had mash on top, too. Meal ok, nothing to rave about. Asked for a sweet tea refill. It took too long to get, and it was not sweet again. Took a while to get our bill, then get pymt. Ambience was cool. Lots of TVs with lots of options. I liked the open floor plan and the garage feel of their "outside" area. The service was okay, my waitress seemed really spread thin and the manager gave some douchey guy in a gold polo and khakis priority service for some reason and so our waitress spent a lot of time prioritizing that table apart from ours. We don't get napkins, silverware or even plates for the shared appetizer until after we asked, despite everyone getting that when they were seated. We shared the Jacks Sampler app, and everything tasted frozen. The garlic parm sauce on the boneless wings was awful. My wife got a burger and fries. The burger was labeled as a smash burger and was definitely not, but it was decent regardless. I got the ten bone in sings with cholula. Being a big fan of wings and of cholula hot sauce, I gave them a shot. The wings were overcooked and most likely frozen prior to going in the fryer. Half of the drums were hard to chew and the wings were all tiny. The margarita my wife ordered was also lackluster. It was watered down. Then to wrap it all up, it was $72... you read that right.
