We stopped by Walk-On's after attending the Rock the Block event in Katy, where we had gone…read morespecifically to visit the Houston Comets booth. We were hoping to grab some food, drinks, and catch the WNBA games while we were there. From the moment we walked in, the hostess and bartenders were extremely welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed to find out that they didn't have WNBA League Pass--even though the Dream vs. Mercury game was actually listed on their clipboard of sporting events for the day. So, we ended up sitting in a sports bar watching the game on our phones. That was probably the biggest disappointment of the visit. Walk-On's is a sports bar, and practically every TV was showing preseason NFL games. Those games don't even count toward the regular season, while the WNBA game we wanted to watch had actual playoff implications. I would really love to see Walk-On's invest in WNBA League Pass and give patrons the opportunity to watch women's sports too. Women's sports deserve space on the TVs in sports bars just like men's sports do. Everyone Watches Women's Sports. Thankfully, the food and service were good enough that we stayed and still had a great time. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos with chips and queso, and they were fabulous! My date ordered the redfish tacos and said they were amazing, and our friend had the gumbo. The crackers served with the gumbo tasted a little stale, but that was really our only complaint about the food. We all had drinks, our bartender was really cool, and overall it turned into a fun, spontaneous outing. We would definitely come back--but Walk-On's, get that WNBA League Pass! If you're going to be a sports bar, let us watch all the sports.

However, our concerns were quickly alleviated by a wonderful bartender who met our immediate needs, and then started to take our order in this case for some pizza, which was really quite wonderful. Why there were no other patrons there I can't even explain perhaps it's because it's somewhat new however, it is well adorned in TVs and is quite capable of hosting a large number of people. There is a lovely outside patio and apparently it converts in the evening into a hookah bar. We were told by the bartender that apparently evenings are quite busy and frankly, we watched a football game and left close to dinner time and in point of fact, there were people coming into the restaurant and the hookah bar area. In summary, it's a great sports bar it has a patio on one side of it and a hookah bar lounge on the other. Has a great representation of liquor and beer and the service is excellent. I wish these folks and I believe I met the owner, I wish these folks the best of luck. It's a great establishment.

There were about 50-60 of us. The service was extremely slow. Took about 45min to get one drink. I believe I heard a few servers walked out? I'm not sure but it was very slow. I had to go to the bar myself after 40mins to get my drink. I placed a food order around 8 (a shrimp salad) and didn't get it until 9:15pm about 30mins before the event ended. Everything else was good. I'd be interested to go back when it's less packed.

Even as yesterday was a holiday, they had some great specials and it was really nice to see a restaurant still provide this on a holiday. They had by any burger and get their regular cheeseburger for free. So we got two hamburgers and they were absolutely fantastic. The burgers were perfectly cooked and fresh and tasted amazing. Every burger is served on a brioche bun and it was perfect. They came with fresh french fries that were seasoned perfectly. Our server was super friendly and answered any question that we had and she was very attentive. She also offered us to go drinks and we really appreciated that. The restaurant was crowded, but you did not realize it because the service that you were provided was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for anybody who wants a good meal at a great price.
