NOT HONEST, Car Inspection - I went to my car dealership a month and half before the appointment I…read morehad at Brewster Service Station. I had 3 tire sensors that needed new batteries. The dealership, which always gives a good once over inspection at every visit, unsolicitedly said my tires, that were purchased in 2022, were good (not fair or bad as those were the choices). When I brought the car in for the NYS Inspection at Brewster Service Station the owner said I needed 4 new tires and 2 new breaks. I told him I was just at the dealership and they said everything was fine. He told me because it was Connecticut that they don't know or understand the New York inspection process. He peeled the inspection sticker off the car and would not approve the inspection. I left because something didn't feel right. I rarely use the car and only had 150 miles added on the car between the appointment at the dealership and the appointment with Brewster Service Station (1 1/2 months). Thankfully the dealership has 2 branches and I decided to visit the same dealership's New York branch where they do inspections. I had them do the NYS Inspection over again. I mentioned the tires to the customer rep but not the breaks, as he could clearly see the inspection sticker was gone. They approved my NYS Inspection and said the tires should not have failed my inspection. I then asked about my breaks. Again, I did not mention to the dealership what the Brewster Service Station said about the breaks and I expected them to be consistent. The service rep at the dealership said my car has break sensors and the breaks are fine. I almost spent $1600 plus when I didn't need too. I've heard from others that this station has done this and it is clear from the reviews on Google he does this often. He knows he has you between a rock and a hard place especially when he eagerly scrapes the inspection sticker off. He is a dishonest person. DO NOT USE THIS STATION.

After a couple of weeks--including the New Year holiday--of them "helping" us on warranty claim that likely includes a major engine repair, they hit us with $1k of storage fees and the clock would juscontinue to click. Justification--"the insurance company will pay." Storage fees are for customers who abandon vehicles not for shops to run up bills. Piggish behavior. God only knows what charges they'd layer onto an actual major repair. We have since towed car to a reputable dealer who will take over from here

I felt my alignment was off and went to TownFair tire and they quickly discovered that one of my Control Arms was shit and this was a repair that had to be made ASAP to avoid a major cluster F while driving. I was recommended Blackman's by the TownFair folks(great guys by the way) and i headed over there 4p on a Thursday with no appt. The staff i met were so amazing nd just regular guys who happen to be experts in anything car related.....they have all been mechanics their whole lives and i had my car back and good as new in less than 36 hrs. truly amazing interactions and i feel blessed to have found these guys and will be going there exclusively for all my family and friends car needs and i highly recommend this place in case you couldn't tell!!

Another one was coming soon and they would call when it came. I called them after 1 pm. They were able to get me a different dash cam for the same price. I asked for the make and model and found that it was a little cheaper then the last one. The reviews were good for that camera. It's good for day and night. Good resolution and motion and bump sensor, and gps. They adjusted the price after I found that this camera was a little cheaper then the other camera. I will continue writing my review afterwards. For now I'm giving them 4 stars because they couldn't keep my appointment. They are very nice people. I will se how much I like their work and camera. M&M Alencar Sounds did a great job. They had my Subaru car for over a month and a half, stringing me along, telling parts were coming…read moretomorrow. After all that time, they finally took it for a test run and said it needed a wheel hub ...they said it would be another 1K on top of already 3.3k that was already a few hundred over the estimate. In the meantime was using my backup old Ford that had gotten a flat tire...they charged me another 1.9k, $500 over what I expected to pay. To make things worse they damaged something on the truck, as when I would go backward to the right, I would feel a rubbing or grinding. Also, the steering wheel became loose and really shaky. The next day, it began to sound like the brakes were going as they began to grind, when they were hardly used and newish brakes. Going down a small incline, the breakline popped. They took no responsibility for it. I had another shop tow me and repair the damage they did. Finally, I picked up the Subaru, I drove two doors down, and the battery light went on. Now, the battery and brake lights go on as the headlights dim, and the security alarm is set off uncontrollably, not being able to turn it off or turn my car on, leaving me stranded in the Shop Right parking lot. I had to use a hack that another garage told me to do, because Classic Coach doesn't return a call an hour after I picked the car up, nor ever, not the next day. As classic ...the wheel hub still isn't fixed, but I don't want them near my car, and I'm taking it to a different garage that fixed the truck that Classic Coach broke and charged me for. On top of all this, I had to rent a car for one week. Classic coach replaced the radiator but did not put any antifreeze or coolant in the reservoir, foutunately I discovered it because I popped the hood as the car drove terribly. The male mechanics in the shop are very honest, as I had money and valuable things there that were not touched. I especially would not recommend them if you are paying out of pocket and you do not have deep, deep pockets. I dreaded dealing with a woman by the name of Lauren, who is in the office, who I found to be pushy, insensitive, and controlling ( would not let me talk to the mechanics who worked on my car, insisted that I buy road-only tires for my truck that goes off-road at times, and she exhibited other strange behavior).

They kept it another day made the corrections. The next day I went to pick it up. The engine was making noise. The mechanic came out and said it was air in the transmission lines it will work it's way out. Well it didn't. I took it to my mechanic, and they found that they did not replenish the transmission fluid and it was down 2 1/2 quarts of fluid. Then I took the van on vacation while on the road the check, engine light came on. Brought it to the neared dealership to check the code and found there was a cooling fan for the transmission not working and it's wire harness not connected. Also wires going to a computer were loose. I cannot recommend them.
