Brisket Mac and Cheese bowl with Cornbread and cheddar cheese
    Katy D.

I've been wanting to find a new BBQ spot, and I definitely think this is it! When I got to the counter, the man working there was very friendly and helped me select the Brisket Mac and cheese bowl. I got their house made sweet and tangy BBQ sauce and a side of sweet baby rays and it was exactly what I was looking for. There was a solid amount of Brisket and the Mac and cheese was flavorful and cheesy. The brisket was very tender as well.

Half eaten street taco. Loaded with brisket!

This place was very good! The Mac and cheese was prob theeee best I've had from a restaurant. They had generous portions and good prices. No complaints!

The place is pretty new, so I decided to give it a try. They have sandwiches, sides and platters. I decided to try a platter. I got the brisket, it comes with two sides, I got baked beans and Mac & cheese, it also includes a cornbread and drink. All for $20, which seems pretty reasonable. The baked beans were excellent and the Mac & cheese was really good. On to the star of the show, the brisket. To say they provided a generous portion of brisket is a significant understatement. I was shocked at how much brisket I received. The brisket was moist, had a good smoke flavor and was well seasoned. I'm a firm believer that good BBQ shouldn't need sauce, so that is always how I try new BBQ and actually how I prefer it. This brisket was delicious. This is easily the best BBQ in Wadsworth and certainly worth a visit if you are anywhere within 30 minutes.

Amazing food. The brisket I had was about a foot long, great smoked Mac & Cheese plus good baked beans. I tried his bbq sauce that he made instead of the sweet baby rays, I told him he should ditch the sweet baby rays and sell his own. Loved it

After reading some of the reviews, I drove over from W. Akron to give them a try. The ribs were good, but not great as was the cole slaw. The star of the show was the brisket (as others stated), as well as the baked beans and mac&cheese. The brisket was amazing. The sweet bbq sauce was tasty. The staff there were friendly and the little place was charming. There is a drive-thru and a walk up place to order. I ordered online and they got it together once I arrived. Definitely worth a try.

So excited to have a good bbq option in Wadsworth. We ordered a little bit of everything when we placed our order online. Shortly after, the owner called us and said that the ribs wouldn't be out of the smoker until a little later and gave us the option of coming to get the other stuff, cancelling the ribs, or coming later to pick it all up. We opted to come later to get it all, but we were so happily surprised that the owner didn't want us to show up and not have something and personally called us. He was so friendly and thanked us for our business. Really impressed. Food was just as impressive. First off, bbq is pricey, but it's worth it here because the portions are huge! Especially compared to other bbq places. The Mac and cheese was so good. The pulled pork and brisket are excellent too. The ribs are so meaty and the perfect amount of smokiness. We really enjoyed our food and will definitely be ordering again in the future.

This place is such a great addition to Wadsworth. Their pulled pork is amazing, chicken is tender and juicy, sausage is on point and their brisket is Da Bomb! Love the Mac and cheese and coke slaw as well. We've been going here since they opened up and just picked up some bill trays for Easter (pulled pork, Mac and cheese and cole slaw) and it was amazing. If you are in or near Wadsworth you owe it to yourself to give them a try (assuming they haven't sold out for the day). I hear they have Ribs now and can't wait to try that next!

Love the food, just wish they would add turkey breast. The Mac and cheese side is not my thing, but husband liked it. Decent coleslaw too.

It's definitely on the dive bar section of the scale, but I like that just fine. At noon on a Saturday, there were plenty of places to sit, and the server let us linger to talk. I had a fried chicken sandwich, and it was giving Wendy's chicken sandwich vibes, in a good way, nothing fancy, very satisfying. We also tried the broccoli cheese bites app, and while they weren't super flavorful, they came out hot and were a really fun option. My friend had some grilled shrimp that we also shared, and they were tasty, with some garlic butter. The menu had a lot to chose from, and they had a fun looking cocktail menu as well, though we did not indulge. I'm sure it gets busy in here at dinner time!

REJOICE... for now you've got one more good reason to visit your service person's grave, or niche. Even if you're just looking for somewhere with a comfortable ambience to escape to from the city, this is the place to go... in Rittman... for real. Ample indoor seating, fast, friendly... dare I say perky... service, a great bar, plenty of brew taps, and a well appointed patio -- even in the depths of Winter -- await you for both your pre, or post-memorial visit. Or for whatever reason you may drop in. And they cater... can anyone say: The Best Wake, or The Best Memorial Day Feast... EVER? The appetizers here are all house made... no frozen stuff. The beer battered onion rings were so good, we didn't even get a picture. Maybe next time. Mom had the classic Reuben with a well-executed potato salad... a side that wasn't just an afterthought, but was full of flavor on its own. I had The Original PigMac which was old-fashioned Mac & Cheese topped with slow-cooked pulled pork, and house made BBQ sauce. Yum! It appears there are more sauces they make here... all the way up to the 4X heat level. Maybe another day for this as well. I also had the Great Lakes Christmas Ale sans Cinnamon & Sugar Rim... because I was saving those sweet treats for the pretzel bites & the house made pumpkin pie. So many good tastes met in the amber light of this always festive brew. All-in-all this was a great dining experience that was a good reason to make coming back to the Rittman area a priority. I hope you come to celebrate the service of your loved ones too, and I hope you stop by BG's Main Event, too! I know you'll be glad when you do.

They have plenty of seating inside and a number of board games available but we just opted for dinner this time. It wasn't loud or dark inside so it was a nice place to have some good conversation with friends and not worry about hearing one another, haha. As for food, we ordered the giant Bavarian pretzel with added beer cheese dip to share and I went for the falafel sandwich with sweet potato tots ($3 upcharge) for my meal. The pretzel was delicious...I enjoyed both types of mustard as well as the cheese dipping sauce. I'd get that again for sure. The falafel sandwich was good but a bit dry - it was better once I asked for a side of hot sauce. The tots were really good but I didn't feel like it was a ton for the upcharge. My husband ordered the black & bleu burger with fries and enjoyed that as well. The service was great too - super friendly and attentive. All in all a tasty food choice in a good environment. Nothing super major went wrong, but many little things added up to a not great experience…read more First, the restaurant was colder than we expected, and the bathrooms were absolutely freezing. It was a cold night (20 degrees or so), but I was surprised the restaurant it self was chilly. I'm not usually cold, so it was surprising. Second, I ordered the "Build an Entree" and chose the pork chop and broccolini as my side (it comes with two sides, but I asked for extra broccolini because of my diet). The pork chop comes out covered in this glaze that I find out is a bourbon glaze, but there are onions in it. I cannot eat onions at all (allergy), and nowhere on the menu is it listed that there is a glaze. The broccolini was cooked but was no longer warm. I mentioned these things to our server, and she said that their pork chop has always come with that glaze and it is mentioned on the menu. I asked to see a menu, and the only place the pork chop is mentioned is in this "Build an Entree" section, and no glaze/sauce is listed. The pork also looked slightly undercooked for medium, but maybe that's just me. They cleaned off the glaze and reheated everything, and the food was good. My wife had the salmon and very much enjoyed it. Finally, the check came and everything was priced 4% higher than the menu prices. When I inquired about that, they said it was because of credit card fees, and if we paid in cash, they would remove that fee. I understand the need for credit card fees, but it's not listed anywhere on the menu that they have such a fee, and the fact that it came out with such a fee built in already makes me question whether or not they reduce it unless someone asks specifically. All in all, it just wasn't the quality experience we were hoping for on a date night. I don't think we'll be back any time soon.
