We had a great night at 9ers in Wadsworth! It was Valentine's Day and we had the best time listening to Charles Geil and His Ghost Band! Great variety of music and songs! The food was very good! Food was just ok. I ordered the avocado toast and it was not good. It came on two huge pieces of bread that were barely toasted. The avocado was a barely discernible smear. No flavor. The poached eggs were decent but a little over. I also got a fruit bowl--another mistake. It was ...well...gross. All the fruit was the same color ..the melon, honeydew, pineapple..all a pale unappetizing color, and it came sitting in a pool of water giving off canned-fruit vibes. No berries. Please stop serving this. My husband got some kind of sausage hash and really liked it. I think I just ordered the wrong thing. This is definitely not an "avocado toast" type of place. Decided to go somewhere local for lunch on our anniversary. We hadn't been here so we decided to try it. We had heard the service was really slow so we prepared ourselves in advance for that. The hostess sat us at our table and gave us the wrong menus to look at which was a bit confusing but our waitress fixed that when she came to our table to introduce herself. She gave us the right menus and got our drinks right away. There was only one other table with people and a couple people at the bar. That may have been a bonus for us bc the service seemed timely and we were happy with it. Our waitress was friendly and gave recommendations happily. We loved the appetizer we ordered and it was plenty to share. Even had some to take home. My husband and I both ordered burgers. He enjoyed his Patty Melt. I had a Southwest burger. It needed a sauce of some sort to make it better. It was ok but was missing something. We would return again. Looking forward to trying some of their BBQ. read more

New place in Wadsworth. I've never been to the Brunswick location and love new spots. Ambiance appears to be the same at present. I arrived and was greeted by not one but two people. It was 1130 and I wanted lunch but they served breakfast until 12. Wasn't thrilled about that but I pressed on. Fairly busy for a lunch spot in Wadsworth. Service was good. Drinks look good. I couldn't have any due to work. Food was serviceable. I had the corned beef hash with two eggs and potatoes. It was ok. Nothing to make me rush back but I didn't regret eating it either. They are still fixing a few kinks since they've just opened not quite a year ago. The atmosphere is nice. Wish they had a little more seating. Maybe getting rid of the stage that is there is an option? Their brisket poutine is to die for. It can seriously be a meal if you really wanted it to be. I've had their smoke house wings, very flavorful and huge! I've also had their brisket and smoked turkey. The brisket was good, a little dry but their bbq sauce which was good a well, helped. The turkey was delicious, but a little too peppery for me. I've also had their prime dip which was very good too. They have a lot of food to choose from. Lots of drink options. I have yet to make it there for breakfast but do plan on that as well. Service is great. Very attentive. read more

I tried 9ers last night for the first time. I ordered brisket and pulled pork, with their cheesy potatoes and salad as the sides, and iced tea. The meats were fantastic, with a great smoke flavor and their bbq sauce was also very good. The salad was fresh, with mixed greens and quite big for a side. The potatoes were also good. The meal came with cornbread which was fresh and moist. Lastly, the tea was obviously fresh brewed and quite good. My only minor complaint would be that the meats could have been a bit hotter. read more

Had breakfast there on 1/26/24 with some buddies, Great looking place, Seated very fast. Friendly staff and the restaurant was clean, as it should it just opened recently. Our food was cold, I sent my omelet back and my English muffin was barely warm. They serve the food on a cold aluminum tray, which is a large heat sink and draws the heat out of the food. They really need to rethink that for eggs which are difficult to serve hot anyway. 2 of the other guys said their eggs were cold as well. Coffee was hot. You really need to rethink the trays or heat the trays up. Not a good choice for hot food on a cold tray. Not sure I'll return. read more

Went for dinner and it was not good. For a barbecue place they really don't know how to barbecue. Everything was cold and overcooked. Went for breakfast and not much better. The drinks aren't very good either. All around, just not a good place to go. I will not try a third time. read more

Honest review here: When walking in they have a couple of money games which is cool if it is busy. They also have a table that has a checker board on it to play. You need to ask the host or server for a bag of popcorn. Down side I was hoping they just had bags already made out because if and when it gets busy the host is seating people and that is an inconvenience for the host and server. Self serving would be better. Seating was good. I'm personally am not a fan of high tops due to having a little one. They only really had one booth which is a bummer but it is okay again personal preference for me. For us it was semi loud which was good due to having a toddler who is also loud. Service was good. Waitress was semi knowledgeable about the drink menu as far as their coffee this week. She came around asked if we were doing good. Typical good waitress attitude. Servers came out with our food which was in the timely manner for the amount of people in there. Food.... Let's start with the kids Mac and cheese. Noodles were a bigger elbow/spiral noodle and the cheese to noodle ratio was perfect. It was a white milder cheese which is great for kids. Nothing too strange that would deter a child from not liking it. The bravo was a pretty good sandwich which could be shared. Didn't really taste the turkey on it but that is just because corn beef can over power other meats. The coleslaw was a cream base but it was a little off for me. I am a coleslaw person so this was different. Rye bread was grilled which was a great crunch for the sandwich. The southwest burger was also pretty good. Two meat patty's that were juicy. Gouda cheese in between the patty and they weren't thick which I love (again personal preference for me). The deconstructed elote was good but just kept falling out of the burger. Maybe due to cutting the burger in half. I love a good elote too. Didn't notice the fried onions that were on it though unfortunately. Overall a great burger. The basic burger was also pretty good. Added the chipotle cream cheese to it and it was great. The fries were amazing! It was like five guys(not as greasy) and fair fries had a baby. Perfectly seasoned for my personal preference not too salty at all. AMAZING!!! Drinks were okay. The coffee flight had okay flavor but tasted watery same with the unsweetened tea. A little unappetizing also seeing a swamp color coffee but surprisingly it was the best one out of the four. Beer selection was just okay also. Was there a few weeks ago for the first time. The first thing you notice is the decor which looks like it was mostly left over from the previous establishment. It looks like the space is too large for the number of tables available. This place is apparently supposed to be a family destination but while we were waiting for our food, the music playing over the speaker system was rap music with many "f" words and other vulgarities. There were young children in the establishment and the music was not appropriate. The food was okay but nothing necessarily to write home about. Other authentic BBQ restaurants that I have been to have various sauces available and on the side to use. This place had none that I was aware of. If they had some, we were not told of them. I may give them one more try just to see if the results are the same or if they are different. read more

It was my third time here, first was terrible, second was above average but not great and the third will be the final visit. The portions are great but the quality was terrible, the brisket was like leather and my sons mini corn dogs were still cold in the middle... It is definitely hit and miss and when they charge the prices they do I would expect far better quality. read more

This is our third visit. It took fifteen minutes before someone finally came to our table. Napkins were brought to the table after the meal was received on each of our visits. I ordered the perch meal, cannot say enough about how disappointing the perch was, should take this off the menu. It was dry and tasteless, also overdone. The coleslaw was served in a paper/cardboard holder that drained through to the rest of the food, huge mess. My husband had a chicken sandwich that was moist and very good. Service is everything and it just needs a lot of work. You should never spray a cleaning product on a table next to a table that has food served. The spray spreads and was very off putting. The first visit we were seated at a table that we had to ask the server to clean as there was something sticky on the table. I wish them the best as opening any new business is difficult. read more

This seems to be the same restaurant that preceded it, the Blue tip BBQ. It is nothing like the 9er diner in Brunswick. Food below average, service is slow. Extra charges on the bill that we had to dispute. Don't bother, plenty of better restaurants in Wadsworth. read more
