At this point I started having a bad feeling about the food and when my fish and chips showed up my feelings were unfortunately correct. The fish was drenched in oil that was burnt. It was so bad you could smell the burnt oil and even though my plate was full of the oil residue from the fries and fish I tried it. I caught the waitress and showed it to her and she immediately apologized even though it had nothing to do with her and she got me a Reuben ordered. Btw the staff was great. Nothing exciting about the chips, but that's ok by me - who doesn't like a classic potato chip? I will say the server that took over at shift change was much less welcoming.
