Almost passed this by! Tucked away cozy spot! Just needed a little bite. We sat ourselves and were quickly met with a sweet waitress who was patient and got us served in no time! She made sure she knew what we'd ordered (for example 'mushrooms' was that fried or for the burger?) handled so smoothly and easily! Food came out hot and fast, and most importantly delicious! I was in Wooster for work and wanted to grab a bite to eat, so I checked out the reviews for a few restaurants in the area. Leroy's stood out from the pack, so I stopped in. This place is definitely a local hangout. Everyone knew each other. The waitress was very friendly and a few folks said hello as they were leaving, so I felt good about my choice. The beers were cold and the food was served hot and fast. My philly sandwich was great, even better considering I was in the middle-of-nowhere, Ohio! Nothing exciting about the chips, but that's ok by me - who doesn't like a classic potato chip? I will say the server that took over at shift change was much less welcoming. Guess she's only friendly to the locals, because she sure was chatty with them. I'd recommend a stop during lunch, but make it quick. read more

In from out of town. Gave this place a try and was presently surprised. To classify this as a dive would be doing an injustice. This is a throw back neighborhood bar. It's nice, clean and a great vibe. We had a pizza and some wings. The pizza was very well topped. We got the unbreaded wings. They were good size and well prepared. The new owners have done a great job in renovations,it's clean and has a great patio with TVs and music . The inside has several TVS to watch your favorite sporting events. The woman bartender was so incredibly rude when my sister and I came in to celebrate her birthday. She cut us off twice mid-sentence and walked away with an attitude. One of the least pretentious bars I've been to. You know what your getting when you go to Leroy's: beer, pizza, jukebox. Everything you would ever expect from a dive bar. Friendly staff, great food, and cheap.

Something's changed. Maybe it's me, maybe it's Leroy's, but the pizza has declined in quality.

Not as divey as some dives I've known. Solid country-townie bar, like I've seen in small Illinois and Wisconsin towns. PBR = plus. Barstaff = plus. Clientele = meh. Update: A trip to Market Grill (ugh!) forced me to raise Leroy's rating by one star. It's all relative in this town. read more

Wings that are huge and out of this world. Cooked perfectly, great ranch, mix the hot and garlic for the party in your mouth. Also huge fish sammich. Like huge. Arrived at 9:45 on Thursday September 24. The first thing we noticed was the blaring music. So loud that we couldn't carry on a conversation. We sat down at a table that was five feet from the bar. We looked around and noticed two girls working behind the bar. After five minutes of sitting and looking around and no one acknowledging us we left. If Deb Force still owns this place she should come out in the floor. You get more customers by waiting on them. Went out to this small town in the heart of the hard working Wooster, and came across this nice dive. Luckily came in on a Thursday night and got great dish style pizza, and a tall beer.
