It's been over 10 years since I ordered food at Sully's, which was a bad experience, (see old review). I rolled the dice last night and order 6 chicken wings. No bar that I know can mess up chicken wings. The wings came out dried out, not a hint of garlic parmigiana favor, and slightly cold. They had all the rich flavor of packing foam. Sully's is always a good choice when you're looking for an easy spot to eat in Medina. Pretty much everything I've had here has been very good! Highly recommend the corned beef egg rolls. I also got the potato and leek soup and it was DELICIOUS. My salad was ginormous but just okay flavor wise, not loving the cold corned beef but not sure what I expected. My partner really loved his breakfast burger! They usually have live music on weekends and had trivia tonight (Friday night). The service is friendly but not always the fastest, and they are pricier than you would expect for an Irish pub! read more

Quite possibly one of the best Irish pubs in the Northeast Ohio area! Food is fantastic, and of course they have all the popular Irish / English beers. A really good pub, where you an almost always get a seat. Everything is good, but try the Angry Mussels for an unusual, very tasty, dish.

I always look for Irish Pubs when traveling to a new area. Sully's proved to be one of the "Golden" nuggets that you rarely come across. Had every intention of corned beef and cabbage but the bartender mentioned they had a Prime Rib special so I jumped on. For sure an amazing surprise, the best that I have had in years. Tender, delicious and cooked to the perfect med-rare along with a side salad and terrific Garlic mashed potatoes. After dinner a talented 4 piece Irish music group lite the place up! The only downfall was I didn't find the place until my last night in town. If you are in the area I highly recommend you put Sully's on your must do list! read more

We were seated in the Vault, complete with the old safe door and safety deposit boxes. Service was friendly and prompt. QR code provided local beer list on tap. Burgers were juicy and tasty. Stopped by Sully's for another taste with my wife since our first experience with them was excellent. This time, I ordered a grilled cheese and a bowl of tomato soup. My wife ordered a cheesesteak sandwich. Our entrees were served with home made potato chips, which were a bit greasy and just okay tasting. My grilled cheese had some yummy cheese and tomato on it, but the bread tasted a lot (too much) like the grill that it was cooked on. The grill flavor was overpowering and not particularly appetizing. The tomato soup was the best I've ever had. I love that stuff. My wife was full, so she gave me 1/4 of her cheesesteak sandwhich, which was very tasty. I would definitely order that again. I'll pass on the grilled cheese next time, but that tomato soup is a winner. Excellent service! read more

I have been here twice now and ordered the exact same thing each time; the Sheppard's pie with the noodles instead of the salad for my side. The first time my meat was so tender and delish (this was the week before Saint Patrick's Day). The second time was tonight. The first time the meat was so tender and the mashed potatoes were spread over the dish. Tonight, the meat was difficult to eat, and I had to put several pieces into my napkin after I tried hard to chew them. Also, it was a scoop of mashed potatoes over the dish instead of a layer like before and like traditional shepherds pie. Service was great and the Baileys cheesecake was delicious. read more

We sat in the back room away from the music so we could have a conversation.Our server was Neal, a little curt but attentive and efficient. There were no service missteps.I had a Smithwick's draft to start. I intended to order the shepherd's pie, but when I found out the daily special was a 12 oz piece of prime rib with potatoes and broccoli for only 18 bucks, I got that. A real bargain and it tasted great. Very little fat. I started with fried pickle spears which tasted good, but all the breading fell off, so they need to adress that dish. The bowl of chili was HUGE. It was obviously homemade--not much spice but it was marginally OK. Everyone else liked what they ordered. Two of us got bread pudding for dessert. A little on the dry side, but OK. All in all, I would give this place 3 and 1/2 stars and I would like to return and get the shepherd's pie or maybe meat loaf. read more

If you're in the hunt for a truly outstanding fish sandwich, keep on driving. Today I had the displeasure of experiencing one of most dreadful fish sandwich's of my life. Honestly McDonald filet of fish is better than this. I sent the first one back as apparently the cook didn't seem to understand Blackened only applies to grilled rather than fried fish. The second was marginally better but still dry as a dessert and tasted solely of the bread attempting to hide the poor emaciated fish beneath it. To think a poor perch gave it life for so poor an effort is an affront to Poseidon himself. read more

We sat 7 at a table for lunch. Huge menu. I ate a gigantic Chef's salad which was good, but they missed a big chunk of rotten lettuce. Some winners were the Reuben sandwich and pulled pork. I actually thought at one point I might be more comfortable standing up. Food came and distracted me a little from awful chairs. Our service was a little slow, but friendly and efficient. Filled with corned beef, cheese, sauerkraut and fried to golden perfection. Served with 1000 Island-- I honestly could have made a great meal out of the Appetizers. the Mister ordered the Bacony Goodness Burger and it earned it's name.
