We sat down for some beers and food. We ordered veggie egg rolls for an appetizer which were pretty good. The blackened chicken Alfredo was pretty good as well. Not overly cheesy like some store bought ones. Boneless chicken was normal. The fries were different. Think wedges but thin. They were crispy and seasoned. Can't complain. The flatbread was small but the flavor was there. I have to say the service wasn't good. We ordered apps. And she didn't ask if we were ever ready to order. I had to wave her down. The chicken was wrong but again still good. She didn't acknowledge it or us really. I had to literally get her attention if we wanted something. Maybe she could tell we were from out of town, but she could've made a lot more off of us if she touched base with us a couple of times. For instance. We ordered a mock tail for my daughter. She finished the drink before her food came. We wanted to order a sprite and she didn't come back until she was completely done eating. Kids don't eat very fast. I'll probably try somewhere else for food and maybe stop for a 6er on the way out of town if I come back.

We stopped at Wooly Pig on a Friday afternoon. The farm was an excellent place for the kids to get some energy out with disc golf and space to run. There are indoor bathrooms with changing tables for the smaller kids. Beers are fresh and bartenders were quick. We really enjoyed our stop. It's a bit steamy outside so wear sunscreen!

Our first night we sat at the bar to drink and Jordan was the bartender and he was hands down the best I've ever met in my life. He was attentive and made great conversation. You can tell he has a passion for what he does and was able to judge our taste pallets for things we would like. He made the trip worth it alone. We returned the next day for food and were equally impressed. I got the Buffalo chicken dip and it blew me away. There was an insane amount of shredded chicken and the house made tortilla chips were some of the best I've had. I also had some of the boneless wings and were pretty impressed and would recommend both items. At this point I started having a bad feeling about the food and when my fish and chips showed up my feelings were unfortunately correct. The fish was drenched in oil that was burnt. It was so bad you could smell the burnt oil and even though my plate was full of the oil residue from the fries and fish I tried it. I was totally disgusted and even offered my friend to try it which he did and immediately spit out. I caught the waitress and showed it to her and she immediately apologized even though it had nothing to do with her and she got me a Reuben ordered. Btw the staff was great.
