Went here on a Christmas Eve with family. Nice place in a historic district. There were 7 of us. Nice waitress, and she did a good job. Mixed meals and drinks for the table and they were filled/refilled pretty regularly. Buffalo wings were good as was the spinach dip. All meals were good, average bar food, fish and chips looked the best, ribs were a hit, burgers and a chicken Philly which was dry and needed an aioli for better flavor and some moisture. We arrived at the Warehouse in Coshocton about 12 noon. We were seated within five minutes. The woman server took our drink and appetizer order right away. We decided to try the Legendary Onion Rings. The server made a mistake and gave us unsweetened tea but fixed her mistake. We waited over 20 minutes for the barely warm onion rings. I loved them, they were thin and crispy. My husband didn't like them for the exact same reasons! When she delivered the onion rings, she didn't take our order even though we were ready, she said she'd be back. Two women came in after us and a group of four women was seated after us. I ordered a side salad which came about 10 minutes after the onion rings. I've included a photo of one of the two cherry tomatoes which was rotten, you can see the black rotten spot on it. I picked a few very wilted pieces of lettuce out of the salad as well. The rest of it, which was the majority still looked good, so I ate some of it. The two women who were seated after us received their food. Then the group of four women who were seated about 10 minutes after us then received their food. We were still waiting. The two women finished their meal and left about 1:05. At this point, despite being very hungry, we were very upset that we still didn't have our food, there had been no explanation of why it was taking so long. We decided to leave. My husband got up and told the waitress that he needed to pay for what we had received because we were leaving. She apologized saying that there were two parties upstairs and that the kitchen had been busy. But those parties didn't keep either of the two groups that came in after us from getting their food. So we don't believe it was all the kitchen's fault. The waitress told my husband that we didn't need to pay for anything. We left at 1:15pm. We will not be going back. We visited this restaurant around 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and it was NOT overly crowded. The restaurant has a nice, historical ambiance and is a very inviting and comfortable place to eat. I ordered a Patty Melt which was served on perfectly grilled Texas toast. It was excellent. Even better was the side of fries - these were among the best French fries I recall. I'd drive back to Coshocton just for the fries. My wife ordered the Reuben and said it was also excellent and she agreed that the fries were exceptional. Based on the food alone - this restaurant would rate a solid 4-star rating. BUT (and there's always a "but") - the service was BAD - very slow, very spotty. If fact, I think the waitress (or the kitchen) may have lost our order because the waitress came back about 10+ minutes after we had ordered and said "What was it you ordered - was it a Reuben and a patty melt". Then, after another 10 minutes, our food came out. If you're looking for a good meal and don't care about the service, this would be a good place to eat. But, based on the service, I'm stretching to give this a 3-star rating. read more

I absolutely love their buffalo style chicken salad - but I order it with no buffalo - so it's chicken fingers on top and this salad is huge. I only can eat half and bring the other half home for my dinner. I won't order anything else off the menu. The salad has three big chicken fingers a boiled egg, croutons, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and their sweet and sour dressing is divine. I've had this salad four different times and it is always yummy. Stopped here on vacation and my family LOVED the food. The onion appetizers were quickly and happily eaten and everyone enjoyed their entrees. We were impressed with the wide variety on the menu. I loved that I could get pickle fries with my meal and the sweet potato fries were incredible. So sad this gem is so far away, if we are in the area we will gladly return. read more

We went here today for lunch and after two years of wanting to try it, we both left really disappointed. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our table. We did enjoy the historical feel of the building as well. The food on the other hand was not good at all as everything was bland. No seasoning at all. I ordered the Buffalo chicken salad with a cup of baked potato soup while my partner ordered the chicken teriyaki salad and a side of rice pilaf. The soup was grainy and lacked seasoning, it tasted like potato water. The lettuce in my salad was brown and I had most of the hard pieces from the lettuce which indicates it wasn't very fresh. My partners meal was also very unseasoned. The rice was over cooked and it resembled more of a bland risotto than anything but the fact that it was $5 and he couldn't eat it was disappointing. It also had a taste similar to dish soap. His salad, he said his chicken was chewy and the texture was off. Lacked the teriyaki flavor. The salad also came with waffle fries (which was confusing for a teriyaki salad) but had no seasoning. The price was $60 and we were disappointed in the overall food quality. We came here after the apple butter festival and had a great meal. It was easy to walk right in around 8:30 and grab a seat at the bar. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a Reuben with dill pickle fries and a maple bacon burger with sweet potato fries. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. I loved the glaze on the sweet potato fries. I've seen some unfavorable reviews recently of this place but I don't know why. We were treated well and the food was great. We'll definitely come back whenever we're in the area. read more

Very nice old building in a cute little town with lots of shops to walk around and look at . The place looks like an old saloon. The wood floors were original to the building . The waitress was attentive and had a good disposition and I could tell she liked her job. I ordered the "load em up" waffle fries with brisket cheddar cheese and chives. Sweet BBQ sauce on top . It was supposed to be to have sour cream but was not on mine . My meal was tasty and only had a very small portion of brisket but it was very good! My wife and I came here after the Apple Butter Stirring festival around 8:30pm on a Saturday. We were able to walk right in and sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful with choosing our dinner. I had a Reuben with dill pickle fries and my wife had the maple bourbon burger with sweet potato fries. Both were delicious. Service was quick and the people sitting at the bar were friendly. We had a little trouble finding parking because the roads were shut down due to the festival. Burgers are blah, half pounder and patty melt are better than quarter pounder for some reason. Fries are awful, frozen with some sort of barfy seasoning. Get the tater tots or onion strings. Steaks are under seasoned and way too expensive. They won't put a price on them, just say market price. Definitely hit or miss as far as the menu items. Onion strings are good I must say. Check your check, sometimes the price gets jacked up if they think you're a tourist. read more

We were traveling through the area and needed some lunch. We were exploring the the town and stumbled on this place. It sits in the historic Roscoe Village with cute shops and buildings. The restaurant sits in this rustic brick building. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon but my only complaint would be the slow service. Visited the Warehouse Steak N Stein this past weekend and enjoyed the food and service! I especially liked our server. She was very honest about menu recommendations, which I appreciated. They have pub style food and barbecue. When visiting historic Roscoe Village, there really aren't very many choices to get something to eat. Warehouse Steak n' Stein is the only sit down restaurant on the historic street. My husband, girlfriend, and I went there early for lunch, asked for a table and then learned that unless we had a reservation, we had to dine outside. We were told weekends get busy and they are not able to accommodate walk ins. Being a beautiful day we went around back and settled in at a round outdoor table and comfortable chairs. We had an attentive waitress who handled all our needs. I was blown away at the portion size you get regardless of what you order. My girlfriend and I had the smothered chicken with cheese and a side of Brussel Sprouts. My husband had spaghetti with meatballs and tossed salad. We did have to wait some time to get our meals but in the end it was worth it. The Brussel Sprouts were fresh picked and we each got two grilled chicken breasts with our meal. They were delicious and quite filling! My husband got a generous helping of spaghetti along with a side of garlic bread and a nice size tossed salad. He enjoyed his meal as well. The restaurant isn't very big and I noticed while we were waiting for our food that a line had formed in the outdoor seating area which made my thankful we came early and were still able to get seated right away. This is a great place to dine when you need to take a rest from touring the craft shops or the town in general. I would strongly advise that if you plan to eat here then make sure to call ahead and get a reservation so you can be assured a dining spot when you arrive. read more

Called in a take-out order. Young lady in the phone was super friendly and quick. Arrived in quoted time and order was ready. I am a restaurant vet so I always tip well (even on to-go) but make sure to check the bags in the car....we have bad luck when traveling. Everything was perfect! Got home and the food was delicious! Huge mushrooms, perfect amount of sauce on the pasta, great tasting fish. We visit Warsaw at least twice a year. We will def get food from here again. Great job! read more

First time here. Not busy for having the Apple Butter Festival. Old building, part of historic Roscoe Village. Clean, food was fast and grilled angus cheeseburger with fries. Prices are listed as just numbers for example 12, 14 etc. Server was fast at first but she also worked bar and numerous tables so she was busy after 15 minutes. My only complaint is that the bar server should have more help. I spent under $17 with tip. I would like to sit outside next time because it was warm enough and very nice and cool. Cheeseburger was ok. Looked fire grilled since it had marks but didn't taste like it. Ordered well done but it still had a large pink spot as if medium well. I'll have to visit again to check other stuff out. read more

Service is terrible! The bar only had 2 people sitting there, so we decided to sit there. We ordered 2 drinks and received 1 almost immediately. Within the next 20 min., the bar filled up with people. All had their drink order's taken and received before we received our 2nd drink that was ordered 20 min. prior. We placed our order when we received the 2nd drink and, again, 3 different couple's that came in after us all received their food before us. Came here for the day to check out the shops and with a 2 drive ahead of us we decided to get a room and come here for dinner. Sat outside and almost killed myself when I sat down in their "rocking" type chair. (Fell backwards down to the ground). After the embarrassment, decided to get a cold beer. A mango wheat beer which was delicious. We each ordered the prime rib dinner with loaded mashed potatoes. The potatoes were amazing!! The rib steak was good, worth the money, which I thought was pretty cheap at $19 for 10oz and $24 for 14oz. The food came out very quick quick, really nice atmosphere. This was a spur of the moment trip, inquired from some locals on where to eat. Took the advice and was pleased . Quaint little community with charming shops. My husband ordered the chicken penne pasta and was thoroughly pleased . I ordered the brisket bbq sandwich and fries . Fries we fresh and well seasoned . The sandwich had a more than generous portion of brisket . I was slightly disappointed as I was expecting sliced brisket , but it was shredded . I needed to ask for additional BBQ as the sandwich was lacking. The appetizer was the deep fried pretzel bites . These were really delish .
