This restaurant is one of the best all around, food was great, waitress was friendly and joking with us and has a small town quaint atmosphere. The fried pickles were Very Good. The prime rib stroganoff was delicious and the portion was perfect, with toasted bread. Buffalo chicken mac n cheese was my wife's entree. She said it was very good and not overly spicy. My daughter had a good salad. She said it was good, but what she really liked was the peach schnapps ice tea. I can't wait to go back. Five stars all the way! read more

Had lunch with friends I had a cup of chili that was spot on, hubby had a mushroom swiss burger with fries that was good. Friend had the pork chop. Which she has ordered many times before and loves this time not so much. The pork chop was 2/3 of the size that it had been before as far as thickness goes overcooked and chewy. read more

Quick stop in for a lunch. Didn't check out the menu much because I was in a hurry. Seated fast, host got my order. Nice clean spot. They definitely take care of this place. Gives you a Cheers vibe. Not much good to say. Service was okay. It was in walking distance of our hotel, and getting a table was easy.

We stopped in before attending Grandson soccer tournament. Ordered Reuben's based on other recommendations and was not disappointed. Rye bread had a light toast, meat was more than generous making a large sandwich. All ingredients blended perfectly for a great Reuben. The cole slaw I had on the side was creamy and flavorful. Picked this place to try for our brief stay in Coshocton. I had the 1811 burger and hubby had Philly Cheesesteak. My only suggestion was they could use some better beer selections to go with the excellent food and service. We had Modelo and Garage beer which were actually fine with our food, though. Here for my sisters wedding (first time in Ohio) and came to Sorrell's for a quick bite. My wife ordered the Reuben and I have to say it's the best sandwich I've tasted (I would put it up against those I've had in NYC!). I ordered the bang bang chicken and it was super tasty! We were in town visiting a family member and found Sorrell's on the Square through Yelp. We are so glad we visited! Our lunch was super good! One of us had the special of the day which was wings and two of us had burgers. Their burgers are delicious! My Aunt who has diet restrictions has to be careful with seasonings on her meat and Sorrell's was so accommodating! We will be back! read more

Well.... It started at the front door. I asked for a booth, and was told there were none available. There were two empty clean booths in sight. I was told it would be at least 25 minutes for a booth. Being hungry, I chose the uncomfortable table . Five minutes later, the hostess sat the booths. Ordered dinner. Waited for 35 minutes in a half empty restaurant.... The food was mediocre... we had the Shrimp Po boy and Burger. Save your money, this place was not worth it read more

A little late to the party on this local eatery and I am pretty upset with myself for it now. Went to Sorrell's for the first time last night for a family member's birthday and it is now one of my favorite places. First, we had a late reservation and we were there way after closing but the staff were all still amazing and very attentive, they didn't rush us to leave and let my sister bring in the cheesecake she had made for her husband, plus brought out more plates for us to use. Our waitress didn't let any of us go without and spent extra time entertaining the kids at our table. Now on to the food. I have been disappointed on multiple occasions by the burger I order at a restaurant. I almost passed on trying one last night and I am extremely happy that I took a chance. Not only was it an option to build your own burger, but it is probably the best restaurant burger I have ever had. It was juicy, served hot, with fresh ingredients, a delicious bun, and seasoned just perfect. I definitely don't think I could make a better burger at home, which is my usual comparison - if I can make the food better myself it isn't worth a repeat visit. The fries were pretty great too, I want to try the sweet potato fries next time but I have a few other things I want to try on the menu now too. I wish I had thought to take a pic before devouring my food last night but alas I didn't think about it until it was almost gone. Will submit some pics at my next visit! read more

Loved the boom boom sauce on their chicken wings!! My wife had the buffalo sauce on hers and she said they were good. Typical buffalo, not to hot. Just right. Lots We sat at the bar and our bartender was super busy but still made time to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. Will definitively be back. Well we came back and both got the same thing. Creatures of habit I guess. Lol. And same results!! Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal. Every time we are in Coshocton this is definitely our go to place. And by the way, it's bang, bang sauce. Haha read more

We came in at 9 PM on a Saturday night. The webpage stated that they are open until 10 PM; but the sign outside read "open until 10-ish". As we approached, a rude bearded employee yelled across the street that "THE KITCHEN IS DEFINITELY CLOSED". As a former waitress, I was trained to never treat a customer in a disrespectful manner. I was shocked at his utter disregard for social conduct. He need not worry; we will never *attempt* to dine here again. read more

I wish Coshocton had decent places to eat! High hopes for this business, that unfortunately didn't deliver. Pretzel bites are way overpriced for what you get. I had a Reuben burger and it was bland and flavorless. Other items my party ordered were the philly, which had a weird, unpleasant taste, and a burger with bacon in it and on it. Can't remember the name. I did enjoy the fries, but my boyfriend had a side of Mac and cheese and it wasn't good either. I will try this place again and order something different. Prices for entrees aren't bad but some of the appetizers are a little over the top i.e. Buckeye pretzel bites $9.99 for 16 pcs. and they are about the size of a ping pong ball at best. We had the one appetizer and two iced teas and our check came to $34.00 . Mac and cheese is way over rated all I can say when it come to this dish is I'm glad our waitress messed up our order and gave us the small order because it taste like canned cheese over macaroni. Portion size is not bad for the price , my wife had the Philly cheese steak and seasoned fries and I had the build your own burger . Hopefully after they are open for a while they add to the menu because it is small . Hopefully it will get better with time. read more

Food wasn't bad. I found it a bit pricey for what you get. We had the cheese curds as appetizer. The Sorells burger was tasty and fries too. Almost went for cheesecake, just to take home because we were full, but for those prices no way! Service was average and we did wait to flag down our waitress for refills. Nothing over the top or terrible here. In all, it's not a bad place but for portion size vs price you would be better off spending it at Ravens Glenn or another upscale restaurant. You'll get more bang for your buck. read more

This was a nice local place to stop for a delicious lunch and great drinks. My husband has a very severe allergy to milk and the waitress brought the owner over to talk through the menu on what he could eat, and even changed a few things on the menu so he could eat what he wanted. Next time we are in town we will for sure go back! read more
