It was busy at first, But Mj handled it like a boss!! I wish the pool table was back though omg

We came to Rittman to go to the orchard, and we found this as a convenient lunch option. My friend and I both enjoyed our food. It's definitely on the dive bar section of the scale, but I like that just fine. At noon on a Saturday, there were plenty of places to sit, and the server let us linger to talk. I had a fried chicken sandwich, and it was giving Wendy's chicken sandwich vibes, in a good way, nothing fancy, very satisfying. We also tried the broccoli cheese bites app, and while they weren't super flavorful, they came out hot and were a really fun option. My friend had some grilled shrimp that we also shared, and they were tasty, with some garlic butter. The menu had a lot to chose from, and they had a fun looking cocktail menu as well, though we did not indulge. I'm sure it gets busy in here at dinner time! read more

Mom & I came to bury a loved one with military honors, and found a hidden Triple-D gem in the bargain. Vets, and families thereof... REJOICE... for now you've got one more good reason to visit your service person's grave, or niche. Even if you're just looking for somewhere with a comfortable ambience to escape to from the city, this is the place to go... in Rittman... for real. Ample indoor seating, fast, friendly... dare I say perky... service, a great bar, plenty of brew taps, and a well appointed patio -- even in the depths of Winter -- await you for both your pre, or post-memorial visit. Or for whatever reason you may drop in. And they cater... can anyone say: The Best Wake, or The Best Memorial Day Feast... EVER? The appetizers here are all house made... no frozen stuff. The beer battered onion rings were so good, we didn't even get a picture. Maybe next time. Mom had the classic Reuben with a well-executed potato salad... a side that wasn't just an afterthought, but was full of flavor on its own. I had The Original PigMac which was old-fashioned Mac & Cheese topped with slow-cooked pulled pork, and house made BBQ sauce. Yum! It appears there are more sauces they make here... all the way up to the 4X heat level. Maybe another day for this as well. I also had the Great Lakes Christmas Ale sans Cinnamon & Sugar Rim... because I was saving those sweet treats for the pretzel bites & the house made pumpkin pie. So many good tastes met in the amber light of this always festive brew. All-in-all this was a great dining experience that was a good reason to make coming back to the Rittman area a priority. I hope you come to celebrate the service of your loved ones too, and I hope you stop by BG's Main Event, too! I know you'll be glad when you do. read more

I've been here a few times. ALWAYS has great bar food in my opinion. The beers they've had on draft are good options as well. And I love the aesthetic inside. Pool tables always a plus. read more

My family and I were out in Rittman apple picking and found this restaurant on Yelp. The food here is unbelievably good!! The fries were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside, the fish sandwich, the mushroom Swiss burger and chicken tenders were amazing. The outside patio is also really nice!!! The staff is also very friendly!!! We will 100% be back!! read more

Frequent here for lunch/dinner. They have a large menu, lots of drink specials. Monthly ribs/chicken is award winning (literally!). Great indoor/outdoor seating and atmosphere. read more

Great service and great food! Went here with a friend for a random bite to eat and got the pig Mac wrap. Yum!

Only bar in town and not disappointing! Have been multiple times and all the food has been great. Drinks are great!

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat after an away football game. Glad we stopped. Food tasted great. The waitstaff were quick and friendly! We had the Cheese Curds and Tots with bacon and cheese for apps and Burgers for the main course. Large portions. Would recommend to anyone passing thru looking for a good bite to eat! read more

Very casual. But coming from a memorial ceremony and the staff was very wonderful and friendly. Plus the food and drinks were great. We all had a fabulous time, relaxing and remembering my father. It was a perfect place to just enjoy each other's company and be ourselves. read more

Bar first, restaurant second. Server was friendly, but the wait time was just awful. Maybe 60-70 minutes to get served. Would prefer they warn folks at the door if they're that behind. read more

Stopped in here by accident, but am glad I found this little place. The competitive bbq team is killing the homemade sauces and the prices are killer. I had a half rack with Mac and cheese and fries for $10. Add a tall beer and tip and I was out the door for $17. The ribs were good, but were a bit overcooked for me. I'm not a fan of fall-off-the-bone ribs. I am of the mgs school that says there should be a bit of bite still on them. The 5 homemade sauces were all very well executed. If you are ever south of Fairlawn, check out. read more

I believe it was an off night tonight, but sadly we got so screwed over on food. Service was great and everyone was so nice. We waited 50minutes just for an appetizer and our server was amazing and took it off. When we finally got our food, boyfriends mega burger was dry and was more of a sub then a burger which we weren't expecting. I got a burger also it was good but dry. I think ill give it another chance maybe read more

Bg's Main Event - I don't have a picture of the food - Barbeque Near Me - Rittman, Ohio

My wife and I have stopped in and had great meals of brisket and pulled pork. We ordered 30lbs. of pulled pork for our daughters graduation party and it was a hit. I was a little worried because we picked it up cold the night before we were planning on serving. I thought warming it up could dry it out but it was super moist and tender. It was a hit with our guests and I'm glad we had some left over. Definitely will be using them in the future. read more

Here for a sporting event and found this review on yelp. Kinda divey, but the place was clean and the staff was friendly. We ordered the brisket nachos as a starter. The brisket was tender & flavorful. We ordered Cobb salad, pork mack & cheese, pickle fries, fish sandwich, and chicken bacon wrap. We practically licked the plates clean. I had the pork mack & cheese. The bbq was delicious and I highly recommend it. Skip the pizza joints and eat here. read more

Fantastic food. Incredible drinks. Great happy hour. The bartender was beautiful and friendly.

Come on Sunday for the BBQ. Service was great and there is an outside patio which was perfect! Overall, I will be back and I suggest you give it a try. read more

I absolutely love this place!! Small family owned restaurant that truly makes you feel like a guest in their home, not a customer to their business. The food is beyond amazing! Not only is everything made to order, it's made the same way, every time. The staff is so welcoming, and personable. Highly recommend this establishment!! read more

Catered our son's rehearsal dinner from BG's & couldn't be more pleased. We had the food delivered to our hall where we were having the dinner. The owner arrived and the food was transported in professional carriers to keep them stable and hot in the vehicle. I noticed that she also put gloves on to transport the food from the vehicle to the table, she was very careful & professional in handling our order. Our guests raved about the food. We had barbecued chicken & ribs and sides of green beans, roasted potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Cost wise, it was less than half of what a local fancy restaurant charges per person. We feel like we got a great deal on a very delicious, high quality meal for our event. Every contact with them was pleasant and efficient. We didn't eat in obviously, but every time I went in to talk to the Bridget or pay, the place was clean and pleasant. I like the patio! read more

With few options for entertainment, this is a hidden gem. Food, beer and darts! The owners are hands on and very pleasant!

Decent food but If you are not a part of the dart cult, you will be treated like a second class citizen. I've been there several times and the bartenders and owner made me feel like I was wasting their time having to serve me. read more

Great dive bar with good wings and burgers. The dry rub, honey mustard, and garlic parmesan were all great wing sauces. Cheap beer too.

Fantastc bbq. Great entertainment! Fantastic for people watching!
