We've been coming to Wooster once a year but have never had time to stop in and try it so, we finally made it a point to stop in. We ordered 3 of the three combo meat platters. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and sausage. The sides were the baked beans, red beans and rice, greens, fried mushrooms, and the mac n cheese. The ribs were cooked nice, some smoke on them, and when you bite into them you left teeth marks which is a good sign for ribs. Maybe just a little more cooking them but either way they were still good. The brisket was good, tender, but they could use some more smoke on them, and I don't know if they have the fatty brisket since they didn't ask us and there was none in there. The fatty brisket is always tender and flavorful if cooked right. The pulled pork could use some more smoke and were a little dry. The sausage tasted really good but they had no smoke flavor and they looked like they were grilled. The mac n cheese looked and tasted like box mac n cheese, not very good or close to it at all. The baked beans tasted really good and the meat in it was flavorful. The red beans and rice was not good at all. The flavor on them was something that I couldn't figure out. Went there for lunch. Lady behind the counter said the ribs were "big and meaty". I got the half rack rib dinner plus I paid the extra $7. for 3 extra ribs. Spent about $30. in total. I have tried to like this establishment but other than the brisket, it's fairly anticlimactic in my experiences. I typically only go here because others I am with want to. I don't know if any of the sides are made in-house. I saw greens and coleslaw in commercially purchased containers. When I saw a worker testing how hot my chili was by dipping their finger in it, and then putting it in the microwave, that did it for me. (The reflection in the glass told the story.) If it good for Cowboy Kent Rollins then you have no excuse to stop in. Great people make great BBQ. Been here twice a year apart still great tasting food, great owners and a great experience. They were about to close early due to staffing shortages and they we so kind and allowed us to come in anyways! All the employees we so welcoming and helpful! The food was so good! My brother ordered a brisket sandwich when he got it was cold so he returned it & got his replacement it was just a bit warmer & heck of a lot smaller in size, I understand it goes by weight but it was what it was. All of our food looked great appealing to the eye, but both my brothers food they said lacked flavor. Being from Atlanta and living up north for 20 years I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. Live in Buffalo for 18 years and found a couple of decent spots there and haven't really found a spot here in the Cleveland area. Pulled pork was spot on! I ordered the 3 meat combo dinner with brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage, fries and fried mushrooms. The meat was all pretty tasty although the brisket was just a little dry. Fries and fried mushrooms was the standard food service stuff you can get just about anywhere, but still good. The combo I got was a bit pricey for what it was I thought, but it's possible to get lunch for about $10 if go for some of the lower priced items. My food came fairly quickly, and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly. They thanked me when I left and seemed genuinely glad that I stopped in. Fun little hole-in-the-wall BBQ joint right in downtown Wooster. Counter ordering, with a few small tables for dining in. All your standard BBQ fare, priced fair, with decent portions. Last visit, I got a half rack of the pork ribs, with sweet potato casserole, mac n' cheese, and a sweet tea. The woman behind the counter, (who I later learned was the owners daughter who recently relocated to Wooster from Maryland) brought out a small sample of the baked beans as well for me to try. Everything was really good, particularly the baked beans. They had some smoked brisket In them from what I could tell. Ribs were tender, without being over smoked. The BBQ sauces weren't remarkable, but they by no means were bad. I'm spoiled having attended college in South Carolina. Got used to their style sauce. But that's certainly no fault of this joint. Mac and sweet potato casserole were both excellent sides. I left feeling fat and happy, with a little change in my pocket. And honestly, what more can you ask for at a BBQ joint? I got the Pulled Pork Wrap and my husband got a hamburger, fast service. My wrap was stuffed with pulled pork and a spicy slaw. Giving Omahoma Bob's a 5 star rating for a 5 star experience. My family rented a vacation home for the weekend, just a quick pandemic getaway. We were looking for a good place for carry out and this place did not disappoint! I pre-ordered early in the week and specified a pick-up time. Our order was hot and ready to go upon arrival! We ordered a slab of ribs, 1/2 pound brisket, 2 pounds of smoked wings, smoked sausage. In addition, the sides that we ordered were, as follows; coleslaw, baked beans, turnip greens and Mac n cheese, all by the pint or quart, which was super convenient. I don't eat beef or pork, but my family raved about the ribs, brisket and smoked sausage. I can personally vouch for the wings, they were meaty, cooked and seasoned perfectly! The sides and bbq sauce were delicious, as well. The servings were more than generous and a really good value. We had enough for leftovers. We walked in to find who I assume was the owner and the young lady behind the cash register mask-less. The waitress did have on a mask, but it wasn't covering her mouth or nose. I asked the owner why no masks in his own place. He pointed to the cooking area and said that masks weren't required when cooking around an open flame. Okay...
