    Ribs and brisket

The food came fast and every single thing was delicious and the waitress didn't harass us which I appreciated. The total price of everything was around $38

Didn't feel like cooking so we ordered Boni's online for pick up. We did the family meal and added a side of ribs. We had corn, greens, a sweet potato, pulled pork, chicken, and the toast. Everything was ready within the timeframe that was estimated on the confirmation email. The chicken was a bit dry, but we enjoyed everything else. My favorites are the corn, the toast, and the sweet potato with the cinnamon butter.

I haven't had Bono's in a long time. So figured I would give it a try again. How you order has changed since the last time I went. You now order at the bar and then go sit down vs sitting and a waiter coming to take your order. Totally fine with that, service was good. We got our food quickly and everything looked and tasted good. An employee would swing by ever once and awhile to check if we needed anything. I got the pulled pork with fries and green beans. Place was clean and table area free of any food remanence. Over all I was pleasantly happy with everything and will come back again.

I typically eat at the Sonny's a mile away. I tried Bono's to have a bit of variety. The meat was a bit fatty. Wasn't horrible, but I would have preferred Sonny's. The portions are a bit bigger at Bono's, though.

Fried squash. Not bad but a little thick for my personal preference. $5.99 and this is the whole order.

We haven't been to Bono's in quite some time. I had a voucher for a free sandwich and side for donating blood (a couple of weeks ago) and it was storming outside - so we decided it was as good a time as any to use it. We started with some fried squash which was good but I prefer my squash to be cut thinner - it's a personal preference but they were good nonetheless. I ordered the brisket sandwich - half and half fatty/lean - and was pleasantly surprised. Nice smoky flavor, tender, juicy, and a substantial portion. The fries were fresh as well and felt they were better than the other bbq chain nearby. A table tent advertised a freebie when downloading their app so I obliged to get a serving of banana pudding - which we took to go. This location supports our local community which is evident with all the team banners throughout. They not only have some schools displayed but also some little league stuff too. Service was fast and friendly from the manager - according to the receipt. Arriving in that last 45 minutes of before closing, I had mediocre expectations but can honestly say I left quite satisfied with the entire experience.

Visited this location after some time away, and was impressed on our recent visit. Previous visits had made us choose Sonny's over Bono's, but on our most recent trip, we enjoyed our meals and the service was very good. For our appetizer we ordered the fried squash, served with ranch dressing and they were tasty, crispy and piping hot! One of our favorite apps! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was awesome, a very large piece of chicken that was prepared well and flavorful and juicy. The bun was soft and fresh and the fries were cooked very well and crispy! After this most recent visit the food was better than Sonny's. On the inside you can tell that they support local athletic teams, with lace multiple banners hanging throughout. I'm always in favor of local establishments that connect with their community! Whatever management is doing they should keep it up! Great place to stop for a meal in the neighborhood!

    Smoked 10 Wings

I normally go the Bono's on San Jose. I wasn't close to that location so I tried this one. They were slow, so I figured food won't take long. I ordered 10 smoked wings to go. I watched one of the kitchen guys at the fryer, didn't think anything about it. My wings came up and I left with my order. It was only smoked wings, no one can mess that up. Well, imagine my surprise when it didn't smell or taste like smoked wings. They were f'ing crispy. My wings were fried. I can't have fried wings!!!! I specifically go to Bono's for smoked wings. This is either false advertising or just half ass service. Not going back!!! Check your wings ladies and gents......

They also offer doggy doughnuts for your fur friends. Their doughnuts are excellent, but taste is more like fried dough from the carnival. I love them but some people may prefer more cake-like doughnuts (dunkin style). The new savory doughnuts are also pretty tasty - I tried the Hawaiian BBQ chicken recently. I don't love ordering coffee drinks at Parlor. Often if you get something with Espresso, it get's stuck in a long queue because they only have one barista and espresso machine. Their drinks are also just average - nothing special. Most of the staff at Parlor are young and still learning, but friendly enough. If you dine in at the Fruit Cove location, be aware that seating can be limited inside. They do have additional seats outside when weather is nice.

We've been going to Parlor occasionally since they opened and they have a good product. It's not traditional like the maple bars or apple fritters I grew up eating, but they are fresh, and when cooked the right way are really pleasing - kind of light (relatively speaking, I mean, it IS a donut). Minus one star because sometimes they aren't cooked as well and can be a bit doughy in the middle. Those days I eat the edges which are still good. The minis are a great way to avoid this, also - and I especially like the coconut ones. Boston cream, maple, cinnamon churro, all the flavors are great and I love the less common ones too - haven't tried many but lavender honey is so good. Great coffee and service, too - check this place out!

The owner, Massi, is such a nice guy and loves to tell funny jokes. His wife, Sabrina, isn't always there, but she is the sweetest and always provides my family with the best customer service. Because I have been raving about this place so much, all my relatives love it and go there regularly (yes, they go every weekend). Please don't expect Starbucks drinks from there. They serve authentic Italian style coffee, so you will get a hot caffe latte in a tall glass. The macchiato will be in a small espresso cup. Try their hot cappuccino with whole milk so you can experience the authentic way of making cappuccino (they only use one shot of espresso, and they said that's the Italian way!). Italian hot chocolate is also a favorite among European customers. Sandwiches are always great, and my favorite is prosciutto, arugula, Parmesan cheese, and tomato. It's a perfect spot to gather with friends or family. This cafe is a must try. These pictures are from multiple visits within three years.
