I haven't had any red meat in awhile and I've been craving some BBQ for some time. I was just a little bit hesitant that if I ate it I would be miserable the rest of day from being so full but that wasn't the case. I went over to their location at a college and their was a small line already there. I really like the artwork on their trailer, it's very bold and colorful and I think it captures "Memphis" perfectly. I ended up ordering the BBQ rib sandwich combo with baked beans and cole slaw and it was a good thing that I got there when I did because the were gonna shut down after my order. I chit-chatted with the lady at the counter as my food was being prepared. She's very friendly and even gave me some tips about what to use on my natural hair. Anyway, I thanked her and the cook and wished them well as I headed back to the office. The sandwich hit the exact spot I needed it to. There was no need to add anything to it as they were very generous with the bbq sauce. The ribs were excellent and seasoned just right. The beans and the slaw were awesome as well, nothing to complain about there. All in all, I'm very satisfied. I saw on their truck that they occasionally have smoked salmon so I'll have to follow them to see when they'll have it. I'd definitely will return.

This was just ok. First off let me say that Al the owner was amazing. He was getting set up when I introduced myself. I complimented him on the awesome design of the truck and he sent me a great photo to use on Yelp. He was personable and friendly. I came back 30 minutes later once they were up and ready and the woman working the truck got me my pulled pork sandwich with fries. She wasn't all that friendly. I don't know why, as I always make a point to be really nice. The pork is decent. It's moist and tender. The flavor profile I prefer is a bit more smoky, this was light in that department. Texture was odd because it was so well shredded that it pretty much dissolved in my mouth. The sauce was decent, but when I think Memphis BBQ, I think vinegar based sauces, and this was a more traditional sweet, tomato based (read KC) one. It's not bad mind you, it was ok. The fries were well cooked: crispy, really well seasoned and darned hot. The seasoning blend they use is a winner. Would I go back? Probably not. I got the "Tree"mendous Salad with double turkey (you can choose 2 proteins, I opted for doubling up the turkey). Fresh, smokey, and delicious. They give you a decent amount of ranch too. Not no itty bitty cup either! I also use some of their barbie sauce (my favorite sauce they have) to top it off. Also... if you were the kind lady who got up and moved for an elderly woman to sit closer to the door, that was very kind of you. However, the conversation you tried to begin and have with me was extremely presumptuous and rude. Not everyone who chooses to have a salad at a BBQ place is doing so to "lose weight". Some of us, overweight or not, enjoy a good smoked BBQ salad and next time, please just mind your business.

I got our server and reminded her. She eventually brought my friend's order and, before leaving, were approached by management who did acknowledge the issue and apologized to us for the wait. The rating is more reflective of the wait time for my friend's order when we were at the same table, that they were out of oxtails, and the size of the lamb chops (tasted great but very small) and only the flat portion of the turkey wing for the price. Some suggestions for menu items: a 3-vegetable, 4-vegetable plate and fried green tomatoes would be nice.

Right away, it felt odd and inconsistent with the service everyone else was receiving. I ordered a drink that was made with spoiled pineapple juice. The taste was so bad that I had to go inside myself and ask for a replacement. When it came time to order food, I asked questions about a few menu items and received very short, unhelpful responses. The wait for our food was extremely long, and when it finally arrived, it came out in pieces instead of together. We ordered items similar to nearby tables (wings, oysters, salad, etc.), yet other guests received their meals promptly and all at once. The biggest issue was the lack of service afterward. Once our food arrived, our server completely disappeared. We sat there for approximately 45 minutes to an hour without seeing her. My dad eventually asked another server if she could find our waitress, but she brushed him off and didn't help. He ended up looking for the waitress himself and still couldn't find her. A food runner was finally the person who helped us locate her. When it was time to pay, the bill amount didn't seem to make sense and was much higher than expected. The payment screen was already advanced, making it difficult to review the charges. At that point, we were exhausted and ready to leave. After taking payment, the waitress immediately walked away without so much as a thank you or have a good day. Overall, the food was overshadowed by poor service, lack of attention, long wait times, and an overall feeling that we were treated differently than other guests. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had and I won't be returning.

Presentation is everything. I shared the 2 meat platter with my daughter and we both loved it! The meat was sooo tender along with a smoky flavor. The bonus was the savory barbecue sauce on top!
