Bonilla Moving was recommended to me by a cousin of mine. I had no idea they had movers in the family. The men that came to move us were Oscar, Sebastian and Mario. They arrived promptly at 8am as promised and worked very carefully but quickly! They really are exceptional movers!! My husband and I were more than thrilled with their work. Nothing was broken as everything was handled with extra care! They were more than accommodating when we asked for them to move some furniture around when I wasn't happy with where it was first situated! They even hooked up my washer and dryer! They seriously made moving furniture look easy and our stuff is super heavy and not easy to lift! To top all that off, the price was extremely reasonable! They didn't charge us what other movers quoted and/or charged us before this move. We were very pleased and although we don't plan to move for a very long time, we will definitely use them again if/when we need to! We have already recommended them to our friends who are moving in the near future. The 3 men I recommend are Oscar, Mario and Sebastian, they are the strongest and fastest and very polite! 5+ stars for these men and Bonilla Moving! This review is 2 weeks too late as we moved the end of January, but I didn't want to forget to give them props because they totally deserve it!! If you're moving, I would recommend these movers! read more

Horrible service, had them come a week ago to move house to house; found out that they broke many of my antique glasses as well as fine china sets over $800 in value. Also had collectible items missing, from baseball cards to figures. They moved pretty slowly and they dragged their feet to squeeze out as much $$$ as possible. They were also very unprofessional and had disturbingly bad odor. I made a grave mistake of choosing these people and would strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more

I have used Bonilla for my last (at least 4) moves over the past 14 years and have them scheduled in two weeks to move again. They are awesome people! Very fast, never any damage ever. I will never use anyone else! Looking forward to May read more

These people are a horror show. I hired them to move me and not only did they do a terrible job, they crashed there truck into the side of my building. When I asked for their insurance, they didn't have any. it was truly unbelievable. I was stuck with a $3500 repair bill. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. read more

When I reached out to Oscar about moving from Long Beach to Los Angeles he was very prompted and got back to me within 24 hours. He was super friendly and was able to answer a lot of my questions about the move. He confirmed the move date and time the day before we moved out and arrived on time. Oscar and his team were able to move all of our items quickly and efficiently. After unpacking, all of our items arrived safely! We really appreciated Oscar and would highly recommend him to anyone moving in the area. read more

Also, I am missing items from my last move. I felt it was a bad crew, they took things that meant a lot to me.

I suppose I'm an adult now, since I hired professionals for my recent move, rather than just buy enough pizza and beer for my J.O. buddies to sustain them for an afternoon. On second thought, I may be a gainfully employed adult, now residing in the single family home of my dreams, but it's still a share. Communal living 4 life. (Punx) Anyway, our roommate recommended Bonilla movers to me. Due to unfortunate circumstances, she had bounced around to about 4 different places before we became roommates, and she used Bonilla every time. Granted, it was my first experience actually hiring people, but I can say the following about Bonilla: They were on time. They worked VERY fast. They were very polite. Our old house, our new house, and our furniture were not damaged in the move. When I told my mom how much money I dropped on movers, she said, "Girl, that is dirt cheap, and if your shit is all in one piece, your floors are not scratched up, and nothing's missing, I'd say you scored majorly." Moving is like getting a divorce... no matter how great your attitude is about it, it's still shitty, tedious, and traumatizing. That said, this has been the easiest move I've ever had. I plan on living in this current magnificent Shangri La of a house for the rest of my life, if I can, but if I have to move again, I will definitely call Bonilla. read more

My family and I just moved from Glendale to Santa Clarita and we used Bonilla Moving Co. for the bulk of the moving, particularly all of our larger things which included a piano. A friend had recommended Bonilla she said that she had used them seven times and that they were efficient, careful and a good value. We had wanted to move in the most cost-effective manner so they sounded like a business that I should check out. These guys were on time, they were careful with our belongings wrapping each piece and neatly stacking them into the truck. They did their work quickly and efficiently and left no mess behind! They didn't even bat an eye when I told them that the heavy foosball table was to go upstairs! I was so pleased to have this recommendation and I want to pass the good news around to others. These guys have no advertising and only operate by word-of-mouth recommendation. So here is mine - Call Bonilla for all of your (local) moving! read more

Oscar and his guys are great. I hired them to move me from Irvine to San Luis Obispo. Five months later, I hired them again to move me into our new house in San Luis Obispo. Oscar knows how to run a moving business and his guys take great care in moving and loading our furniture. There is a big moving company in San Luis Obispo that wanted to charge nearly double what Oscar was charging and they use "student movers." Even paying for travel time for Oscar to come from LA, it was still less expensive than the other company. read more

My girlfriend and I used this company simultaneously to move in together. The guys seemed nice. I was at work when she took on the responsibility. They were supposed to be bonded and insured. . .they just don't tell you you have to pay for insurance After they load the stuff. They also packed some stuff up, then charged her for boxes at the end. The crew of four was really the boss, who sat in the truck, and three guys moving stuff. They were bringing in boxes one at a time, and left things in the oddest places, pretty much wherever they decided. We each had a one bedroom. I expected 4 hours each. It ended up costing me $1475. I feel like they took advantage of her because she is a woman. I will say this. . .nothing was damaged. I would make sure and get an estimate from these guys before they pack up. read more

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! They took their time and were way over the estimate they provided. I am going to court to get money for the damages in furniture and over estimate fees. read more

I recently used Bonilla Moving to move my 3 bedroom home. They were referred to me by a neighbor who has used Bonilla at least three different times. This neighbor is very detail-oriented, I trusted her recommendation. Bonilla is a small moving company, and in that respect, I felt that they valued my business. Their estimate came in much lower than other (larger) companies, so there was some trepidation on my part that they would cut corners. However, that was not the case. They arrived on moving day before the appointed time, were conscientious about following my instructions, and were very careful with my belongings. Ours was not an easy move because we have a number of bulky pieces of furniture, exercise equipment and other things which did not fit neatly into boxes. Charges were hourly and included 3 movers. We hired an additional 2 guys because we had so much stuff, and it was worth the extra fee. One tip would be to make sure that you box as many items as you can ahead of time so you don't waste precious time on moving day. (Remember...you are paying by the hour.) Overall, I would use Bonilla again and would highly recommend them to my friends and family. read more

I've used this guys before when I moved from Koreatown to Culver City. They packed everything with care and delivered and moved me in with care. I rented used them to move me from Hollywood to Torrance. I had three guys who packed and moved me in great time. Great rates also. I gave them a 20% tip. It wasn't an easy move for them. Will definitely use them again! read more

Absolutely amazing! I've used them two times and couldn't be happier with the job! They offer great prices and were even kind enough to assemble my bed at the new house. They work very hard and are great people! I will definitely be using them the next time that I move and I 100% recommended that you use them the next time that you move. read more

I change apartments almost every year and use movers all the time. Although moving is not fun on any given day, but Bonilla Moving Co was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Here is why: 1) First and foremost, they are dishonest. Not only did they break the leg of my center table, they did not inform me about it and tried to cover it up by doing a lousy job at repairing it. Over and above they charged me for the time they spent repairing and covering up their misdeed. They also dropped and dinged the side table for my bed which also they conveniently forgot to mention. 2) Second, they did a lousy job of wrapping the furniture. By the time the furniture arrived at the final destination, half the blankets had fallen away leaving the furniture exposed to scratches and dings. Overall the execution was very poor. Fortunately for me my TV and glass dining table arrived in one piece. 3) Third rather than finishing the job it seemed they were more interested in killing time to run the clock out. I hired 3 men and a truck for a one bedroom apartment. The move involved no packing just wrapping and transporting a) 1 bed with side table and mattress b) a dining table with 4 chairs c) One TV d) 2 TV Stands e) a center table and f) a sectional. Besides this I had some packed boxes and an extra bed and mattress which was also packed and never opened from my last move. The commute door to door was less than 30 mins and no more than 100-150 feet carry on either side. It took the three men 4 hours to get the job done and I was around $500 out of pocket. I consider this extremely expensive considering I recently moved from a 3rd floor Phoenix apartment (all stairs no lift) to my current apartment in Los Angeles with the same furniture + professional packing of all my clothes, glassware, cookware, furniture, TV, all in boxes provided by the moving company for less than $2K (and nothing broken). When I questioned them about the slow pace they made the excuse that they were extra careful and that's why they took more time (god only knows what else they would have broken and tried to cover up if they had worked a little faster) I would strongly consider you to think twice before using them simply because of the reason 1 above. And if you do by chance get stuck with using them, it would be a good idea to get an estimate first and have them stick to the estimate. Best of luck... read more

They did the job without damaging any of my furniture. Good experience. You get a discount with cash. No hidden fees. I've used them for 2 different moves. I had a terrible experience with another moving company (it was years ago, so the name escapes me), so I went back to them. read more

Their organization skills were horrible. They shoved my daughters blanket in the back of a garage with no care for it at all. Boxes that were labelled were put in the wrong places. They broke an item and did not offer to pay for it. Very disappointed. 8/9 As we continue to unpack we find more items broken. Very disappointed. read more

I just finished my 6th move with Bonilla Brothers and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are fast, efficient, careful, and don't break the bank. Moving is stressful, but Oscar at Bonilla makes it so much easier (each time I ask myself what I was so worried about)! read more

We have moved 5 times during our years here in LA and the last four have been with the Bonilla Brothers and I would never move with out them - ever - they are so fast and make moving a flash - the more packed you are the faster they will go - they will also pack things for you but the last time we had packed and labeled everything and literally in an hour they had our whole 3 bedroom house in a truck on our way to our new home! They also wrap your furniture to prevent damage- these guys are the best! read more

We've used Bonilla twice to move our home, and three times to move our offices. SERIOUSLY...the best guys you're ever gonna get. It's a family-owned company that takes pride in their work. They are on time, courteous, work quickly and are careful of your belongings. I will always use Bonilla. read more

THIEVES! BEWARE! THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!! Valuables that I USED in my home THE MORNING OF my move were clearly missing immediately after. I have ransacked my boxes and searched EVERYWHERE and they are nowhere to be found. I spoke multiple times with the owner "Oscar" and he was rude, unresponsive and REFUSED TO DO A SINGLE THING! Do not employ these filthy people, they are GARBAGE!!!! read more
