The order was scheduled to arrive at 4:30 PM but arrived at 4:53 PM. The bun was not toasted as requested, and the fries were soggy. I called the restaurant to address the issue and spoke with Jose, who identified himself as the manager and later stated that he was the "boss." His tone became very aggressive, and he repeatedly yelled and raised his voice at me. I found the way he spoke to me extremely intimidating and disrespectful. Being a manager or "boss" should never mean speaking to a customer as though they should be afraid or intimidated. I was simply trying to address a problem with my order and expected a respectful conversation and an attempt to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the interaction with Jose was enough for me to decide that I will not be ordering from Skyview Diner again. Customers deserve to feel respected when spending their money at any establishment.

Any other time the short man takes my order with no issue -this time he's telling me to go around to the lady to order-mind you he's standing right in front of coffee area she is NOT. Furthermore he was not actively taking any one's order. He did however seem more interested in assisting a gentleman with a stroller (who btw had already placed an order and was just standing there). He kept gesturing towards him and making conversation, thus telling me to order with her instead of taking my simple coffee order. Do better -never had an issue in here before but I felt compelled to inform the business of the lack of customer service.

Now, if you're going for a traditional Dominican chimi... don't come here, you're not going to get it. You will get very good burgers though.. But the real star is the hot dog. Likely the best I've ever had. But it's loaded, so of you're a Puritan, it may not be for you. They load it with their sauce (think ketchup mayo, but way better), cabbage slaw, sesame seeds (i think)... I'm not sure, it was dark.. but it was a party in my mouth... the hot dog itself was a well cooked beef hot dog. The bun was soft but didn't fall apart. Delicious. The bacuna burger had grilled onions on it, it was fine... nothing amazing. The egg burger had way more flavor.. The plain fries had seasoning on them.. I'd come back for the hot dog if I happened to be ininwood park.

I like this diner better than the rest in the neighborhood because they don't rush you out here. It's a hidden gem. I ordered my usual grilled chicken wrap with mozzarella cheese. What I love about this place is they grill the chicken to order unlike other diners that grill it early and let it sit there all day. Then they heat it up when you order it and became very rubbery. The reason I know other diners in the neighborhood do this is it takes very little time to get the sandwich. At Dale you have to wait 10-15 minutes to get it and you can taste the freshness. The only problem with this place is there is no parking and right in front the cabs park there to wait for there rides. Other than that this place is a hidden gem and love going there.
