    Margarita

The margarita was fantastic!!! The burger was very good, but a bit a salty for me. The server was awesome! She clearly is happy working here. A little drama added to the evening with the bartender throwing out a couple! Don't know what happened, but the patrons applauded.

What a great setting, off the beaten path. Biker and people friendly mountain style. The burgers here are the draw. But in my opinion, their fried chicken is the bomb. Order 10 wings to take home and snack on later. The service was great! I had a whiskey, the pastrami on rye, she had red wine and a burger on a roll., and we took the chicken home. The chicken comes with 4 sauces. Bar b que, Buffalo, honey mustard and ranch. Roadhouse! Luv it. 5 stars. Check them out

All around good food, good service, good atmosphere. This place checks the boxes. I was impressed with the bar tender / server. She was friendly, attractive, personable, and efficient. She seamlessly worked the room without a hitch. The tables were clean, the condiments clean, and the soda was served in a large cup. The burger was juicy, fresh, and the caramelized onions are always a great option. The fries were an ample serving. All around a good experience. With dining inside and outside...this establishment is a good choice.

I don't get the hype over this place. Maybe it's the aesthetic of it being a "biker bar" but I wasn't impressed. Inside is extremely dark but decently clean. We were given our drinks quickly but the food took almost an hour. It was not crowded at all. There were 2 people at the bar and a group of 4 people outside who already had their food when we walked by. My son and daughter really enjoyed their BLT's, my husbands Patty Melt was just mehh and my pulled pork sandwich was disgusting. It was full of fatty pieces, hardly any sauce and my bun was soaked and soggy from the grease. I will give credit to their top shelf Bloody Mary, it was very good! Wish it was a little more spicy but still one of the better ones I've had in awhile. This place has a certain clientele which can be a little off putting to some. Thankfully my family has a thicker skin so from the Trump flag we purposely Chose to sit under, stares and snarky comments about building the wall, it didn't faze us and we found it amusing. Please understand I'm not rating this place based on its political views and patrons, otherwise I'd give one star. The food wasn't that great and service was painfully slow for the amount of people inside. Saving grace was the BLT my kids devoured and the blood Mary's. Would we come back? Not for the food but I'd endure the patrons for another one their bloody Mary's.

Really good. Food. Great service! Fine as can be patio seating and terrific drinks. My new go to place when going through Placerville Ca.

Perfect Spot for a Fall Day [Apple Hill|Camino CA]…read more The number of orchards in Apple Hill can be overwhelming that's why each year my eldest daughter always has a game plan to visit farms we haven't tried yet (and some repeat visits to our favorites) This was my first time at the Apple Ridge Farms. We spent most of our time here. There was a lot to do including an actual u-pick Apple orchard. Apple Ridge Farms is dog friendly. BBQ and Bakery with a full menu including sandwiches, salads and sides. They had a special on apple pies this weekend... $20 for a whole pie. Picnic Area - got our lunch and enjoyed it in the covered picnic area. Love their fries! Apple Barn - frozen pies, pastries, apple cider, fresh apples, Christmas boutique Country Store - filled with jams, jellies, fudge, chocolates, and great gift ideas Nature trail - visitors are able to choose between an easy trail and a not-so-easy trail. We chose the easy trail but I think they are both easy. Flower trail - unfortunately our visit was in early November and we missed when the flowers were in bloom. September would be the best time to visit and check out the colorful zinnias. Free to access. Gem mining - daughter has enjoyed this activity in other places since she was little. She's 23 now and still has fun with this experience. There is a fee for this activity. Pop ups Artisan Crafters - arts & crafts including wood works, handmade jewelry, handcrafted soaps and candles, paintings, dried nuts and fruits. Unique finds! Face painting - we did not do this activity due to time constraints but daughter had wanted one of Patrick Starr (SpongeBob Square Pants)... next time! Portable toilets are on-site. Ambiance: This place is a must stop when in El Dorado Wine…read moreCountry. Its decor is simple and features a Polynesian theme. Service: The service was worth 5-stars. We stoped by after wine tasting just before 2 pm. They welcomed us as if we were family. Amazing service and company. For the record, they are closed between 2-4 pm. Make sure you get there early for the most amazing food in NORCAL. Food: The menu has a wide variety for everyone. On this day, we chose the Carne Asada Fries. Hands down the best any of us tasted. There were four of us and we all shared it and all equally satisfied. It's a meal on its own. Do not pass this up! We each order sandwiches; Turkey Club and Pastrami Reuben. Both with sweet potatoes. We asked if we could share the sandwiches. They quickly and very friendly said, of course. All four of us enjoyed our 1/2 sandwiches. One of us stated they were the best he has tasted in over 20 years. Every one of us was exceedingly pleased with our meals. We will be making this a regular stop on our wine tasting journeys. We already stated that breakfast will be our next sampling. This really is a gem hidden away in the beautiful El Dorado Wine Country. And it is most definitely worth the trip! We all live in Sacramento and this will be our place when we go to Too Good Caves once a quarter; or sooner. Tell them James sent you!
