Brussell bacon soup, wagyu meatballs
Aj T.

Ate here mostly for boyfriend's dinner before his spartan race tomorrow morning. I had everything but his chicken pasta. Everything was okay.

Triple Layer Mousse
Elias G.

Food was great! We popped in because it was one of the few places around that could accommodate our large party on short notice. Among us we got the eggplant parm, tuscan bean soup, adriatic salad, and chicken alfredo, as well as the triple layer mousse and chocolate decadence. The eggplant parm was quite good, as were all the dishes. The tuscan soup was full of vegetables and beans, and the chicken in the pasta and on one of the salads were juicy and tender. The alfredo was "the best alfredo I've had", more akin to a traditional Pasta con Burro e Parmigiano (cheesy butter sauce). Both desserts were yummy as well, with the mousse being light and the chocolate decadence being nicely fudgey. Service was also very friendly and welcoming. If I'm in town again, I'll be sure to come back!

Quality, service, selection -- all 5 stars! Worth the wait during a busy lunch hour. Super cute bistro, prices a little high but you get what you pay for!

Second time in a short period that I have arrived prior to closing and they turn you away at this. Even though all the lights are on and the doors are open and they're not supposed to close for 45 minutes according to their own website. And they're honestly kind of snarky about it.

Bonelli's Homemade Lasagna

Bonelli's Bistro is now open for dinner and definitely worth a visit! The menu is limited, but every dish we tried was delicious. I had the lasagna--flavor was amazing, though just a touch heavy on the sauce. The bistro is right on 1st Street and has outdoor seating for warmer days, which I can't wait to enjoy. The owner personally welcomed us and checked in several times, which made the experience feel extra warm and genuine. We arrived right at 5:00 when the doors opened after lunch break, and by the time we left, the place was buzzing and full. Sweet ambiance, great food, and friendly service--Kalispell is lucky to have this gem back open in the evenings!

Great tasting food with an impressive and diverse menu selection. The wine list offers many excellent options to pair with your meal. Service was warm and welcoming--staff went out of their way to assist with vegetarian choices, which was greatly appreciated. The restaurant is tucked away in a great location and offers both indoor and outdoor dining, making for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Plenty of parking available as well. Highly recommended.

Pollo Pesto Panino and Tuscan Turkey Club Panino

Food was great! I had the Pollo Pesto Sandwich with a Caesar salad and a bottle of root beer! My husband had Turkey Bacon Club and house salad with a local can of montana sparkling orange water. It was a beautiful day to sit and eat on the patio and enjoy a refreshing meal!

Nice little bistro tucked away a block off Main Street Kalispell. Order at the counter and take a number style service. It bills itself as Italian, but didn't seem to have a lot of Italian dishes. Friendly service. $3 Coffee...I came at around 3pm, so the coffee wasn't quite as hot as I would've liked, but good enough. $15 Chicken Pesto Panino...Roasted chicken breast, sundried cherry tomatoes, pesto, Italian aioli, provolone in a nicely toasted baguette. It tasted exactly you would expect. It came with a Green Goddess Soup was hot, green, light and flavorful. Not sure what was in it, but I think it was healthy and perfect when its less than 20 degrees outside. Seemed a tad bit pricy, but that's how everything seems in 2022.

Service was exceptional. Between two choices, the waitress suggested the Gnocchi Rose, and it came out bubbling. It was delicious, and did not disappoint. I almost forgot to mention that they serve warm bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was to die for. The place is really cute on the inside and perfect for a date. I had come from hiking, and it was empty with no apparent dress code. I also had a tiramisu which was a bit small but still delicious. The prices aren't terrible and the food is incredible. I would come back here, and the owner is Italian which I guessed by the quality of the food.

Sauce was slightly spicy which went well with the sweet and touch of sour flavor from the cream and the tomato. The penne pasta was cooked al dente. The chicken coast extra $3; good but there's some tough spots. Dish was yummy. The Pollo Marsala came with 2 pieces of tender chicken fillets and linguine pasta; both bathed with yummy wine sauce and topped with cremini mishrooms. Sauce was sweet with a hint of the mushroom flavor. Also yummy dish. The Carbonara looked like it had bacon instead of the traditional pancetta. The sauce was creamy but could use a little salt. Had a taste of butter. I like this one the least. They give complimentary Italian bread, butter and olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Bread was soft; didn't taste sweet compared to other Italian bread I've had. Didn't wait long for the food. Prices were reasonable especially for the size and yumminess of the entrees. The staff were nice and patient as we took a few minutes to look at the menu. The dining room was comfortable and bright.

Spending some time in Montana this time of year, I honestly wasn't expecting to find arugula this fresh and perfect. It was crisp, peppery, and tasted like it had just been picked. That alone impressed me. The elk tartare was easily my favorite dish of the night. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and a great Montana twist on something you would expect to find at a high end restaurant in New York. I would come back for that dish alone. The steak was cooked perfectly, flavorful and juicy, with herb butter, asparagus, and roasted tomatoes. The pasta was rich, creamy, and covered with freshly grated cheese, but still balanced and not overly heavy. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and clearly prepared with a lot of attention to detail. Coming from New York, where we are spoiled with great Italian restaurants, I can say Abruzzo Kitchen is one of the best Italian meals I've had outside of New York. Great ingredients, creative dishes, generous portions, and a kitchen that clearly cares about what it puts on the plate. If you are in Montana and appreciate really good Italian food, put Abruzzo Kitchen on your list. I'll absolutely be back.

Food took a bit to come out, but was warned ahead of time. Waiter claim everything is made from scratch definitely taste like it. A little price-y but within normal range of good quality Italian place. 3.5/5 - Caesar Salad - Standard caesar salad, tasted fresh with some fresh slices of cheese on top. Wish there was more crutons maybe to add better crunch. Nothing to complain about, but nothing special to stand out. 4.5/5 - Carbonara Pizza - Perfectly cooked, with a raw egg on top. Creamy, crunchy, and very savory from the carbonara. Exactly as it states bacon is nice and crispy, with the cream finish to cut any greasiness from it. One of the better pizzas I have. Waiter also claim its their favorite and I can see why. 3/5 - Fennel Sausage Pizza - The extra cheese adds a great creaminess to the sauce. On top of it the sausage and bell pepper makes a great topping as it tasted fresh. Only complaint the bottom was very burnt. Usually I accept a certain level of burnt crust from this type of pizza, but all i tasted was burnt dough. Ruin more than half the pizza. 3.8/5 - Wild Boar Ragu - The noodles used tasted very fresh and homemade. Velvet-y and slides off the tongue and grabs all the sauce easily. The price was way higher than the rest, but flavor was more flat than expected. Very little game flavor from the wild boar which is a huge plus. For the price there are better flavors on the menu. 3.5/5 - Classic Bolognese - Despite the same plus from the pasta noodles, the sauce was another letdown. Very watery for a bolognese. Usually its thick meat sauce where the pasta can pick up the sauce with ease. However this one was very watery jsut slides off the pasta made it hard to eat it all without a spoon or something under neath to catch the sauce. Flavor was okay tasted meaty tomato sauce. The fresh, light grated cheese to put on top of the pizza was surprisingly the stand out. No more dried parmesan for me in the future. Packed every night, so make sure to make reservation if possible.

After a full day exploring, we returned to our hotel late in the afternoon absolutely exhausted and hungry. After a quick rest and cleaning up, we decided to head out for dinner without making a reservation ahead of time. We checked reviews and decided to give Mambo Mountain Italian a try -- and we are so glad we did! It was a very busy evening, but they were able to accommodate us on the deck after about a 30-minute wait. It was absolutely worth the wait. The atmosphere on the deck was lovely, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. They began our meal with fresh, warm garlic bread that was complimentary -- and it was delicious! My husband ordered the Bolognese, and he said it was the best Bolognese he has ever had, which is saying a lot because it's one of his favorite dishes. I had a creamy pasta with chicken and artichoke hearts, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous, too. The dessert selection looked fantastic and was definitely tempting, but we were simply too full to indulge! After such a long day, this turned out to be exactly the kind of dinner we needed -- delicious food, wonderful service, generous portions, and a great atmosphere. The lemon cake was so good my son stole it from my mother in law. Our server was David. He was on fire, running in this tiny space to us and all of his other tables, making drinks, taking orders, etc. Chef PorkChop was AMAZING. The amount of communication, leadership, and attitude that man has is astounding. If our family finds any time out of our busy schedules, we will absolutely be back.
