Sandwiches are relatively good, salads are made of whole leaves but are otherwise pretty good. My biggest gripe was that it took 25 minutes to be served... This place is great but if you're willing to sacrifice atmosphere Wheat Montana is just as good but faster and at a lower cost. read more

This was our first visit, I had the prosciutto and fig panini and salad and my husband had the meatball sandwich. The flavor was very good on both and we both enjoyed the fresh salad. The prosciutto sandwich was very skimpy, with very little prosciutto, arugula or onions but the flavor was good. The only thing I'd change is to just put a little bit more of the sandwich ingredients. It felt like they were very skimpy with the ingredients. You could barely see anything but the panini bread. We both enjoyed our meal and would go back in hopes they could step it up a notch but overall very good. read more

Our fishing guide recommended Bonelli's for lunch, and it was a great find. It's a small, intimate bistro that is very casual. They have a moderately priced menu with enough variety to satisfy those looking for a bit of variety. I had the chicken parmesan, and it was delicious. Others in my party had sandwiches and lasagna. I love supporting local businesses, and this was one worth supporting. The lunch bill for 4 was about $45.00. read more

I have celiac disease and am always hunting for yummy gluten free options that aren't just salad. Everyday they have two different soups that are dairy and gluten free and quite frankly, amazing. And they have baked goodies that their chef makes fresh daily, some of which are also gluten free, and so so tasty! Everything they make is just delicious. Highly recommend!! read more

We stopped into Bonelli's Bistro because of the good reviews. We were disappointed. We ordered the mozzarella and tomato panini. The tomatoes were sliced so thinly you could see through them and there was about one teaspoon of mozzarella on each half of the sandwich. We asked for more cheese and received it. The food at Bonelli's was really good! I had a Greek salad with chicken and found it fresh and tasty. The only reason I didn't give Bonelli's five stars was we were among the last five tables served on a Saturday afternoon and, even though it was before closing time, the staff continually rushed us to leave. One waitress asked us if we minded if she vacuumed during our meal, another took my mom's plate before she was finished, and another kept coming by to see if we needed anything. I know it is rude to stay at a restaurant after closing time, but it was before closing and we were among multiple tables. read more

We stood in line to order our sandwiches just like at Burger King or Popeyes. We were asked to pay in advance and to put a tip on the bill before the order was placed. As their on-line page says they offer no waiter service so the tip is merely a surcharge on the menu prices. When we asked for sweetener for our iced tea we were told to go across the room and get it our selves. The same was true if we wanted a glass of water. Our sandwiches were OK just like they are OK at many other sandwich shops. The whole experience was very much like visiting a Popeyes but at two or three times the price. read more

Visited Bonelli's twice during our vacation in the area and both times it was wonderful. The owners are amazing as is their food. Always a good sign when the owners are active in the business. Coffee drinks and pastries were an excellent way to begin the day. Daily specials of paninis and homemade soups are offered and both were excellent the day we ate there. The owners recommended the Cuban Panini and it was one of the best panini sandwiches I have ever had! The interior is charming and warm with the walls covered with old photos of the owners family in Italy- what a great personal touch. Busy at lunch but the orders are filled swiftly and the business ran very smoothly. Wish we had a Bonelli's in our town! read more

Absolutely the best food in town! Warm and thoughtful staff greeted us with smiles and the food was a delight...I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful intensity of the soup. Absolutely amazing! We are on a road trip from Wisconsin and asked a worker at our hotel where to go for breakfast/lunch and she recommended Bonelli's Bistro. Every restaurant we've stopped at thus far has been sub par or a total flop, so I wasn't expecting much. (I will admit I tend to have high expectations because I work in a restaurant back home) but the second I walked up to the building I was IN LOVE. The atmosphere is very inviting, and the dining are was well kept and clean. The menu had unique dishes, but not unique in the way that puts you off... They all sounded well thought out and tasty. They had a ton of different "vegan" options; from milk substitutes, to dressings, to desserts. (I have a diary sensitivity and have been struggling big time to eat on this trip with out getting sick.) So that was another HUGE plus for this place. Our food was nothing short of amazing, we did have a small issue with one of our dishes, but it was quickly and apologetically remedied with a new order and then some free desserts to make up for the inconvenience. Excellent! Everyone was happy and kind, I can tell right away if staff is bothered by a customer because I work in that environment nearly every day, but I didn't get an ounce of that from anyone here. Yet again, another huge prop! Overall, 100/10, I recommend this place to anyone in Kalispell! Super sad that I can't take this one back to Wisconsin with me. read more
