The food is good. I do remember when it was a little better. Sometimes lately it has bland. A awhile back, the Manager did give us a free meal and desert because he overhead us talking about the "flavor" of the food. (We had no clue anyone was around). It wasn't bad, just not up to par as normal. We told him we didn't expect to get anything free, but he understood. He also "took care" of another table that was dealing with a very delayed meal. I was told the fish and chips were great at this place. I walk in and the ambiance and greet was excellent. I ordered there fish and chips, four large pieces of fish on a bed of fries arrived to the table. I cut into the first piece of fish and to my shock a couldn't see the fish in side a mountain of batter, I cut into another piece same thing. I opened all the batter around all the fish, in total I think I never got a full mouth full of fish. I wished I took a photo to show you all. I don't recommend this place. We've tried this bonefish several times, always hoping to have a better experience. Unfortunately, this kitchen is either seriously understaffed or just plain slow. On Friday, we ordered takeout. We were short on time and ordered what should have been a super fast ticket for the kitchen. Mac and cheese, fries and a salad. Almost 30 minute ticket time for that. We have similar slow kitchen issues every time. It was also packed horribly (messy and cold salad packed with hot food), was way over-salted, and they forgot to pack ketchup and my kid's apple juice. I wanted to take my family to a nice dinner and what a mistake I made by choosing Bonefish on Hull st ( Harbour Park) . we sat down our waiter approached the table and welcomed us in , so far so good , after that things took a turn . My sister ordered a tea unsweetened she got a sweet tea , she's diabetic! had to return that ! me and my brother in law wanted a margarita the waiter went away from the table and didn't return to get our drink orders , we went ahead and ordered bang bang that took forever to come out ! we put our food order in and my brother in laws food was all wrong! not one plate was cleared off our table our waiter was more concerned about sitting at the table behind us and out to his car smoking!! we wanted coffee and dessert but after waiting 20 min for waiter to come back and looking at dirty dishes we changed our minds !! just to let you know this timeframe was approximately 6:30 PM to 7 PM that we were Sat. The food was amazing, but the service was terrible. I am one who does not like to see all the empty plates from salad and appetizer courses all the way to dessert. They seemed to have plenty of staff and were not crowded at 6pm on this Thursday night so I cannot understand why the wait staff could not clear plates. Our salads were brought out first and we did not get water until halfway thru the salad. The appetizer was brought while we were eating salad (not before) bread after salad, and entrees were brought while we were still eating salad and app. The waitress was kind enough to check on us but not attentive enough to see that I needed water. Been to bonefish quite a few times. They have a lot of choices and all the food is tasty. This particular time we had the tuna sashimi. It was slightly chilled and was on point. I never had the butterfish before but it was really good. The parmesan rainbow trout did not disappoint either. The key lime pie was very good. I went to Bonefish for the first time, and I must say that I was impressed. I ordered the Breakfast Tacos and French toast. Our server was incredibly nice. We went to Bonefish Saturday evening and were incredibly disappointed. I haven't been here in years and boy has the quality gone downhill and prices gone up. My daughter got the shrimp and scallops scampi pasta dish and found a fish bone in it... boy do they live up to their name. My Salmon dish was fishy and slimy and the mashed potatoes were doughy. We all took maybe 2-3 bites of our food and couldn't bring ourselves to eat anymore. Staff was excellent though so that's the only plus. Waste of money read more

We have all been to bonefish, and one would think great seafood, a little upscale and great experience.. right?! WRONG. Let's start with drinks. I ordered a coke husband ordered a beer. Took 10 minutes and waitress tried to take our food order before we even got them. Then my coke was basically watered down soda water. It was obvious the machine needed to be changed, husband still waiting on his beer now almost 20 minutes in. We order. We get the bang bang shrimp but asked it not be overly saucy as last time it was a little over whelming. Soo we get the opposite which was basically pre frozen shrimp with a tiny bit of sauce in the side. It actually made us laugh.. bc well. I guess we shouldn't have said anything, it was too complicated for server and chef to grasp maybe. Dinner, I got a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. 25 dollars and yea basically a side salad with 5 tiny little now over cooked shrimp. Husband got the fish and chips and added a crab cake. Fries ice cold and fish oily and almost under done. Crab cake was so disgusting. We didn't even eat it. Not to mention it was more like a crab ball. Not a cake. Mind you, the waitress never once came by our table again after we got our food which was delivered by the manager Sam, who was actually lovely. We asked if we could get new fries and she was really nice about it. I used to wait tables and so we really try to not complain nor do we think it's the servers fault. She is not doing to cooking, but she never came back to the table at all. Not to ask how things were nor to full my Coke or ask if he wanted another beer. Husband actually had to go to the bar to get one. There was not one part of this experience that was enjoyable and I could have cooked dinner and made it ten times better at home and saved the 100 bucks. Although Bonefish Grill is a chain restaurant, the food is really good and prepared like a non-chain place. Recommend the bang bang shrimp, Maker's Mark bourbon glazed salmon and the swordfish and pumpkin ravioli. Service is very good and attentive. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. I have nothing but positive things to say about our lunchtime experience at Bonefish Grill, this past Wednesday - for the Bang Bang Shrimp special! The food we ordered was delicious (as always) but the hostess and waitstaff and cook really made us feel so good!! I esp want to thank our excellent waitress, Lauren (!) - who just naturally went above and beyond to make our time at Bonefish Grill great!!! We plan to come back and see her on our next visit! She, hands down, made our visit extra special! Lauren was the perfect server! 8 pm. Thursday evening. Restaurant almost empty. Yet, the speed and quality of service was as if the building was set at full capacity with wait times of 45 minutes plus. Although promptly seated, it would be a full 10 minutes before my wife received her watered down Coca Cola and I received my odd, almost sweet tasting iced water. I decided to order a beer instead, but finding the waitress was like playing a game of Where's Waldo but not knowing Waldo is not actually in the picture. I would not see our waitress again until it was time to pay the bill.Thankfully the manager took over and was awesome but the food was just not up to bonefish standards. My only complaint would be the size of the scallops, they were the size of my pinky nail and there were only 2&1/2 of them, although they were cooked perfectly. (He even ordered lobster and said never again at BF) BUT THE WORST WAS YET TO COME! When the waitress came to check on us (after an hour plus) we told her our meal was cold and we had to go get service from the bar and wanted our check. She just left. NO APOLOGY, no nothing. Then bus boy/manager came and we told him. He said he'd make me a new warm meal. WHAT?? I waited 70 minutes for the first one. He left. Waitress came back and slamed bill on table. Never said anything like I am sorry! I tipped her 12 bucks but so SOOO regret it. I was a waitress in my young days and thought I should. But she acted like an entitled spoiled child. Early this evening I went into Bonefish Grill and placed 3 takeout orders of the Bang Bang Shrimp. There were 12 small pieces of cold shrimp to 1 ounce of cold sauce. I was so disappointed. I am in town visiting for the holidays from out of state. Last year when I ordered this dish, it was delicious, abundant with shrimp and loaded with sauce. It was so good I wanted to make the dish a meal in itself. But now it's quite the opposite. Because of the weather we had to order takeout. Good restaurants have delectable takeouts, but not this place. I don't even want to stay in the restaurant now and order in. I consider Bonefish Grill a great place for a celebration or just celebrating life. The servers and staff are always professional. Yesterday 6/3/25, was an exception. I was with a group of 5 and everyone had their food except me. I ordered a burger and fries. The order was entered incorrectly and server said would expedite. Several minutes passed and a manager came by, and I flagged him down. His response to the issue was they are cooking it. 30 minutes had passed and several orders delivered to other customers. My meal and dessert were complimentary. I expect more of management and hope this review will help improve expedited service and customer service. read more

I came on a Saturday night at 6:30 PM and it was crowded! The wait for 2 was an hour but the community table is open to anyone. I decided to wait given that I wasn't hungry yet. I started out with a cucumber margarita and it was refreshing change. It was a bit sweeter and juicier than I predicted, so I will likely stick to beer next time. I tried the risotto and salmon. Where to begin...Well my wife and I showed up at around 6pm. We went inside and the majority of the tables were empty and yet, we were told it is a 20-25 min wait. Finally, after 45 mins we get seated... at a table that was open the whole time. In addition, there were several couples waiting behind us, yet, this other table that was vacant this whole time was not given to any other patron while we're were there. Essentially, it was empty for over two hours. The wait staff were slow. They were extremely slow cleaning tables. It took over 15 minutes for a table to get cleaned, while people were waiting. The staff had no sense of urgency. My waitress didn't even ask to refill my water the whole time I was there. The food... we ordered the sirloin steaks And asked they be cook ed medium. My wife's steak came out well done while mine was medium well. Just unreal. They did deduct my wife's steak from the bill. the manager didn't even come to the table to ask about the meal or find out anything else about the service. please Keep in mind that this was not a very busy place And there were plenty of staff on hand. Good food, it's a seafood place, more appropriately, it's a fish place, I once ordered pasta and it was very bad, even when it was a seafood pasta, the see food was invisible and the sauce was watery. However if you stick to fish, any fish, any stile, any sauce, if you are into that, it's great, always cook perfectly, taste great, right temperature, always fresh, great sides, so stick to fish and you will love it. The service has improved greatly and I can now say that it's also great. I heard that the steaks are also good but I won't venture there. If you like fish, enjoy it. read more
