Confused, is what I would use to describe the waitstaff and my dining experience here. First off the decor here reminds me of a smaller version of the Cheesecake Factory with the lighting and the wall color. I notice that the demographics of Florida or specifically West Palm Beach aren't really active in Yelping - so I'm leaving with review not so much for the regulars (who probably don't use Yelp) but more so for the people visiting someone in the area. We had a group of 6 for dinner , made reservations for a Sunday evening with no problems. We were promptly seated in a booth, our waitress came over and took our drink order fairly quickly. The bread and pesto olive oil came out immediately after ,it was quite tasty. I love hot breads! We ordered and no joke , 40 minutes later my husband's salad came out and another 20 minutes everyone else got their entrees. I do understand that Florida moves at a different pace , but this was completely out of the norm even for my in laws . I don't know if it's normal for others to wait an hour to get their entrees here, but I have to wait it's the most (if not the only disappointing part of the meal) I had the fish tacos , which were not what I was expecting from the photos that I had seen here on Yelp (the photos of the tacos that were shown here on Yelp showed a hard taco) the tacos that were brought out were soft. It was still good, but not what I was expecting that's all. My father in law got his usual which was the Fontina Pork Chop and my mother in law got their BBQ Pork Chop. The BBQ Pork had a bit of a kick to it at the end , though my mother in law got sweet potato mash as her side I think rice would have been a better addition. My husband got their lobster , with their house fried potatoes (they are whole small fried potatoes - SO yummy - but I'm sure very unhealthy for you! Lol) For dessert we shared their donuts, it was a very interesting presentation because the donuts came out with two small squirt bottle of caramel and chocolate. I recommend putting a bit of caramel on it. Overall the food was good, however the kitchen needs to work out some sort of system to deal with the backlog. read more

Been visiting this place for years now and not complains about the food. Bang bang shrimp is staple along with lobster tail and salmon as our go to. But Unfortunately today was a different experience. Our server who was an old man with mustache, pleasant personality and nice to talk to but he smelled so bad. It was so off putting that we held our breath till he left the table. Couldn't enjoy the food at all. He was serving couple of others tables and I see similar expressions on their faces. I think it's just he was nice so everyone was sucking it up. One of my favorite places for a guaranteed good meal. At this particular location service is iffy. The hostess is an idiot. On this particular visit she only greeted me because another server motioned towards me. It took her forever to seat us because kept yelling "what's available!?" to other servers. Umm you're the hostess. Your one job is to know what's available.. After that our server was great; she was friendly and attentive. Our food was brought out quickly which was a plus because we were starving. Can't go wrong ordering the bang bang shrimp or Thai coconut shrimp appetizers. read more

Manager was arguing with the help and one of them just hit the bricks. Then we were seated and ordered the highly recommended star-on-the-menu choice special grilled cod fish. The fish was still ice cold on the bottom. Tiny icicles in my food. I don't like icicles in my fish! Seems the frozen fish wasn't thawed. The impervious manager said he'd warm it up. Really?!$@'?!%. Thx a lot. Yeah. I asked if they would cook a fresh piece. Obviously there was t any thawed or fresh. It came back juicy and soupy. Delish! No apologies from management. When the bill arrived, we were informed by the waiter that the dessert which only 3/4 of us ordered was discounted. (After the fact). Where's the discount off the two meals-or a voucher for a free meal? Bit of advice: just get the fish soup In a bowl. Make sure the fish is fresh not frozen. Great food, excellent service. You get a lot of food for your money here. But, once your hot plate hits your table, eat it fast! The mgr keeps the thermostat on 68 for some reason. It's not 90 degrees outside! It was only 72. When the air is on combined with the ceiling fans, your food is cold in 5 minutes! I looked around and most people had sweaters and/or jackets on. Why doesn't the mgr see this????? Will be back, but next time we'll be dressed for it. PS: Order the strawberry iced tea, it's delicious! read more

I confronted them in a respectful way and showed them the couple that just sited did not have an appointment and I knew this because they came after me and we're sitting with me outside talking, until the husband went inside and some how call his wife and got a table. Haven't been here in awhile . Showed up around 9 and was dying down . Server looked busy yet it really wasn't . Sitting right by the bar it seemed everyone was more into a basketball game then serving . For drinks which were both old fashions . We're good and I ended up ordering the tuna dinner . Of course tuna is served rare and it came with shrimp and tomato etc . All the sides were fine but let's talk about this tuna . Cut the edge and it looked brown . Tried it and tasted fishy . I ordered the Atlantic salmon with mango topping and Lily topping. The salmon was cold, and neither toppings were delivered. The asparagus was horribly over cooked, and there were only two spears, The bread was stale and there was no olive oil. It took over 1hour and 15 minutes. The delivery service had to change drivers twice on account of sitting at the restaurant waiting for this food to be prepared. This is outrageous service. Very disappointing. read more

Always consistent- great to meet up with a few friends for cocktails & apps at the bar as well as dinner with the family. Weekends can get packed and noisy which I don't mind- cozy relaxed environment. Love the fish options and sauce choices( pan Asian & mango salsa are delicious)- always reliable for a good meal, good value & always had pleasant servers. The fresh baked warm bread with dipping oil is a nice touch at the start of the meal. Always outstanding is the corn chowder lump crab soup- a MUST Have, you will not be disappointed. The wagyu beef dumplings are my fave as well as the filet/lobster duo, truffle Mac n cheese side & pecan Parmesan crusted trout. Oh man the brunch is amazing. $10 for unlimited mimosa, Black Berry sangria, or bellini and for 2 dollars more you can add bloody Mary's. I was sold with the sangria. I was between the oscar omelette or bang bang Benedict (yes it's a thing) and decided on oscar. It was good but not great light sauce, and not much flavor (so I will get the Benedict next time). If you know me well enough you know I cannot live without fries and theirs are AMAZING. So I would definitely get them again but gonna try the bang bang Benedict next time. My friend has the ahi tuna and said it was good. I usually gravitate toward ahi, but wanted to spice things up. And, let's discuss the bread. Dear God people I have been missing good bread and this place knows what's up. I could have just eaten that and been content. I never knew bonefish had a brunch let alone a huge menu to choose from. Mark was awesome. Our waiter Mark made our night. He was funny, and on point and hooked it up with some special things like the gluten free shrimp and dessert. We came here for my birthday. The place was absolutely slammed. We waited like 30 minutes to sit even with reservations. When we sat we were brought out bread and their oil sauce with spices in it. That was actually very good. We ordered for a appetizer the bang Kok Shrimp, gluten free and edamame. They were good. For our main course we had the crab encrusted trout and the chicken with goat cheese. They were both good. Not the best but good. The side dishes of sweet mash potatoes and mashed potatoes were good along with the cilantro like rice. We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday afternoon- it was not busy but our party of 3 had to wait about 15 min to be seated. We placed our orders and drinks and nice hot bread came out... waiter was very nice. I always try new things on menus which seems to be a downfall as some places should just stick to what they know. I ordered the sweet & savory brunch of breakfast tacos and French toast - my husband and mom ordered salmon. I was told 3 tacos came with the order but only came with 2. I cut a piece of the French toast and it was cold, cold, cold.. not even Luke warm.. almost like it was prepared, chilled to be warmed up if ordered. I didn't bother to try the tacos but I touched them as well and cold, even the plate was cold. I called a staff member who bought out the food and he said he'll have them prepare it again... but I didn't want to chance it just being warmed up, so I too ordered salmon with mash and jasmine rice, by this time my mother and husband finished their meal and I'm waiting another 20 minutes for salmon to come out...I rcvd it minus the rice, the waiter said the rice would be another 60 seconds, which made me wonder how was it prepared...but he wanted to give me my food, I guess just to start eating something. It was not a minute, as I had to just stop eating so I can have something to eat the rice with when it came out...I must say, everything was hot and very good. We got dessert which again the plates were cold that my husband even had a small ice chip in his dessert.. but again it was good. After all was said and done..we realized the waiter never once refilled our drinks. I think while it was early maybe they didn't have proper staffing - but a paying customer should never feel like an after thought where cold food comes out or drinks aren't refilled, especially when it wasn't busy.. but I like this location, it's my go to.. but I'll stick to ordering what Bonefish is known for.. leave brunch to the known local breakfast spots read more

Jacob's Gist: One of those restaurants that's surprisingly good, but never comes to mind as a "let's go there tonight". ================ When it's your first day back in South Florida after having spent three months in Europe, you naturally want some seafood. Bonefish happened to be the choice and we were all very happy. We walked in to one of the most crowded restaurant experiences I've ever seen and your typical snowbird yelling at the hostess that he had been waiting an hour over his reservation time (yelling at the hostess probably didn't help his cause). Both of these seemed to indicate red flags and cause to switch restaurants- yet we waited. Ten minutes later we were seated, which shows that no matter how crowded Bonefish is they are still on top of their game. Our waitress was great and very attentive despite a packed house. I ordered off the daily special menu (cranberry chutney Norwegian salmon). The food was brought out very quickly and was delicious. My salmon was very good and the sides were the perfect accompaniment. The only downfall to Bonefish isn't even one in their control. I don't like chains and despite the excellent service and food, it still has that "chain restaurant" feel to it which is hard to shake. Still, it's 100% worth a visit (or two). read more

By far - this is my favorite Bone Fish Grill location ever!!! I was introduced to this one by a lender of ours and thank him so much for doing so. While I'm not a major seafood person only because I'm allergic to shellfish and got very skeptical on cross contamination. The restaurant is located on a shopping center with different shops such as publix, a liquor store and others... So would have never thought that it would be located here... But to my surprise, it's packed by not overly packed that you would have to be waiting a very long time... We were pretty good - and walked in and got a booth. We started with a nice appetizer of edamame and they have this wasabi salt that when you mix hem together is AMAZING!!! Now... Instead of seafood iI decided to get the stuffed pork with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Let me tell you that I wAs not let down one bit... The flavors of that dish were mouth watering fantastic. I truly can say that I was so happy that I had chose this dish and we paired it with a nice bottle of red wine that went so well with the dish. Our sever rocked!!! So attentive and social with us - and told us about (2) deserts that we had to have. And OMG!!! Oh so good - an ice cream brownie with a creme brûlée... And it tasted oh so good!!! I felt so fatty afterwards but it's nothing that a few burpees couldn't take care of. Since my first time, I have been back two more times and plan on coming back many more! Went to restaurant 630 June 12, 2022. There was a small child and her mother hosting to sit us down. That was actually OK and kind of nice. Then our waitress came over and I was very thirsty coughing and choking just a little but knew I needed a drink right away so I asked for some soda water. Waitress finally came back and offered us a large bottle of sparkling water. I said to her I really don't care any kind of water I am fucking thirsty and have been choking. She stopped off, then the manager came by, and said that I was cussing at her waitress. And that I should not do it again. Sent me a new waitress that was absolutely perfect. Bonefish Grill has consistently met expectations. I went to the one in Wellington Fl with three others. We ordered all but two of the appitizers with drinks. My daughter had pomegranate Martini which she said was excellent! I had bacardi and come and they never mix the drink light! Each of the appitizers was delicious. The service was friendly and effecicent . It was early so it wasn't crowded at all but patrons had plenty of distance for covid. I would recommend Bonefish to family and friends. read more

Ate here tonight with friends. No open tables so we sat at the bar. Had a late lunch so we just ordered appetizers. My friend did order clam chowder soup w/ crabmeat. Ordered bang bang shrimp, lobster flat bread and Oysters baked Rockefeller style. Enjoyed all of them. In addition to this, we had a great bartender that served us. Today was the first time we ordered delivery during the COVID19 Pandemic. Wow!!! We ordered the Bang-bang shrimp taco bundle. It was fabulous and easily enough for 4 people. The food arrived 15 minutes earlier than promised and was nicely hot while the salad was cold. Too full to enjoy the cookies but I'm sure they will be devoured later.
