I have been to this location several times and had good good food, never disappointed. This time we had a party of 4 for brunch/lunch at 1pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was pretty empty. I can understand that without having the pressure of whipping out meals one after another, the kitchen gets a bit out of sync however I also feel that under those circumstances there was certainly time for better performance and scrutiny of what was being sent out of the kitchen. I want to keep this short, so lets say that out of four meals complete with appetizers and dessert, only one was without complaint. Grilled oysters were offered, which probably sat under the heat lamp until they had shriveled into the size of small peas, all dried up under a blanket of chewy oily cheese. Yum. The Frittata on the other hand was loose, undercooked and watery. Probably could have used a few minutes up there with the oysters to finish baking. BONE fish was the order of the day with a piece of trout so full of BONES it was practically inedible. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Oh, and finally what's up with charging the cost of a 6pack of soda for one beverage? Times are tough, but, seriously people. Server was fine. Halloween decorations were a great effort above and beyond the usual restaurant decor. I think the food deserved at least that much attention. BTW, $175.00 for brunch/lunch for party of four, better be something a bit more spectacular than the lackluster meal we had. Thank goodness for my delightful company. read more

Met a friend for happy hour and dinner. Came around 5pm and the bar area was wide open with lots of seating available. We ordered a cocktail and of course the bang bang shrimp. I also had the tuna poke bowl. The waitress was friendly and checked on us frequently. The lettuce under the shrimp was stale and blackened, not due to the shrimp! That's not good if you visibly see that and still put it in a bowl for a customer. The rice in the poke bowl also seemed a bit stale and hard in some parts as if it was sitting in a cooker for a long time. Usually this place is not bad was a bit disappointed with the quality today. read more

I went to bonefish per usual. But this time was strange. I was asked 3x if i had a reservation and then was reminded 3x that i dont like i was a problem. Then we were sat by the last table next to the bathroom at a DIRTY table keep in mind the entire place is EMPTY LMFAO. I started thinking what in the world. Could this be because i am hispanic and they are being super rude ? Regardless never going back . Server was kind. But old lady in the front was acting like she was on something or being bizarre. She also told the person seating us "good luck"???? What ? Keep in mind i was nothing but kind. Bonefish is only catering to a certain demographic it seems and thats ok. Youre not supposed to make your customers uncomfortable or awkward but here we are. Keep in mind idk if it is because my underage sister and me looked young but we treated everyone with respect and wore proper attire... regardless everyone i speak with telling them not to go here. My little sister was super upset because thats how bad the hostess was. She was a very nasty woman read more

I like this Bonefish Grill -- and most others in this chain. Each is a little bit different because of the staff and a few local variations in the menu and specials, but it is part of a chain. Outback Steak and Carrabas are the most well known other restaurants owned by the same company. That being said, I like Bonefish Grill the best of the group and when I first started eating there (at the one in Fort Lauderdale) I didn't know of it's connections. This Wellington/Lake Worth one has been here for some time. We've often dined here at the bar or in the bar area in the past and I was surprised I had not done a previous yelp review. I'm a member of their dine rewards club. It's free to join and after 3 times dining out, your reward is that the next meal is 50 percent off (up to $20). You also get notices of specials and featured items emailed regularly. We came here on a rainy evening and due to Covid, the actual bar was closed, but they still had high top tables nearby. We had excellent service. They start you out with a small loaf of baked bread and an herbed dipping oil. This is good to munch on while waiting for your main entree. The current menu is not as large as it used to be. The fish choices are limited. But they had trout here on their daily specials the night we dined and I was happy to try it. The trout was pecan Parmesan crusted -- very lightly -- and had some pieces of artichoke hearts and a lemon butter sauce on top. The trout was light in texture and delicious. For my 2 sides, I chose my go to -- jasmine rice -- and their seasonal vegetable of the day which was broccoli. The broccoli was a tad overcooked. The portion of trout was so large that I took half of my fish home. My husband had their grilled salmon. It comes in two sizes and he opted for the smaller portion. He had garlic whipped potatoes as his sides (twice). He said the fish was perfectly grilled and flavorful. I'm sure we will be back again -- and to other Bonefish Grills (we've been to ones in the Tampa and Orlando areas as well). They have good happy hour drink specials, too, for those that imbibe. We like their menu and seafood selections. And always feel comfortable dining here. read more

We come here frequently. The food is always great and service excellent. Today we had a nice casual meal and great conversation. So much so we did not even care that the kitchen was behind. While we said nothing to the staff our waiter Christian and the manger went out of their way to make sure we were fine and wanted to compensate us for any inconvenience. This type of attention to the customers experience is often lost on many restaurants. Especially since we did not register any discontent. We highly recommend this location. read more

The bar staff is so amazing! They made my new years eve! Love them all thank you for all your love every time we come by!

This location is a bit further one from my home but we started liking this location because their wait time etc was always better. We used to dine there and the service was always good. They have opened up the restaurant again ( post covid 19), but I have been continued to order delivery or pick up. They do a great job with pick up or delivery orders. Everything is nicely packed and assembled. Their must haves are the bang bang shrimp, you can request the sauce on the side but it tastes better when it's mixed in. Any fresh catch options are good. They can prepare it how you like it cooked. And it comes with sides. In desserts, their macadamia nut brownie is a must and it comes with ice cream and raspberry sauce. This location is consistent and I plan to continue to order from there, since dining option is a bit too much for me at this time. ~ read more

The worst and most expensive mistake I've made in a while. Everything tasted frozen (I don't know whether it was or not but that's how it tasted). They used to be good, then got worse, then got good again and now literally the worst experience I've had in a long long time. The fish was okay, the soup was not good tasted old as did the broccoli and the potatoes au gratin and even their signature dish, the bang bang shrimp. Everything was limp and old and my Chilean sea bass which was the most expensive fish on the menu was maybe 4 oz. I will never go back again because this place has gone so downhill It will never be able to climb his way back up. read more

Enjoyed a delicious dinner this evening. Had the special butterfish or black cod with lumpfish crab and a side of fresh steamed asparagus. It was yummy. I have to say the house salad is outstanding. I could have eaten two! We were fortunate to be served by Mama Emily. She's amazing! read more

The Bonefish at Wellington is a great place for dine in. I have been going there for past 10 years and every time had a great experience. Moreover if anything is out of place or doesn't go well, the manager is always willing to make up for the inconvenience. This is something not every restaurant does and that is solely why I gave this restaurant a five star. The food is great and fresh, staff is always nice and friendly and place is always clean. They are busy on weekend so I would highly recommend a reservation. Be sure to sign up for email promotions as they always send in coupons from time to time read more

Went to bonefish grill last night and they've changed the menu and of course increased all the prices. They already had a limited menu in my opinion and now it's not as affordable either. The service is always decent but I don't think we'll return. read more

The mashed potatoes were oh so moist and felt as if I was placing a soft seasoned cloud in my mouth. Bite after bite became more exceptional. The scallops and shrimp did not need the sides of sauces because they were cooked to perfection. I sampled multiple drinks from their craft cocktails, which is a must. Each drink felt like a different occasion that kept me asking for more. I can not wait to come back to this exceptional restaurant. read more

We went to dinner here a few weeks ago. The hostess was rude and my dinner was way under cooked. My friends food was over cooked. The manager asked us to come back and try again. Complementary. We reserved a table for two last Friday at 8:00pm, the earliest they had on short notice, which was OK. We got our table at 8:15 and waited 15 minutes to be served. The server forgot our soup. We had our main meal but skipped the soup. The service was horrible, the decibel level set at non-conversational, the food.....less than mediocre at best. Total downgrade of what used to be a nice place to dine!!! read more

Alll the food was absolutely delicious. But the bread should be already sliced. Staff was polite and professional.

We were a party of seven and Rachel, a kinda novice server here @ BG, handled us very well. Each group has separate checks. This is always good and avoids minor issue between parties. Of course if this is business dining, let corporate pick up the tab. BG is always busy, in or out of season. The bar was packed for happy hour, which lasts til 6:30. Well drinks and drafts are discounted. Craft beers are missing here and I wonder with 4 local breweries, where are the beer reps? Since I really didn't to be on my phone all evening, I'm just going to relate what I ate. I had the Ceviche, it was well prepared and tasted good. I had to add more lime to it, and that brought it up to snuff. My main course was a large sashimi platter, with all the fuss. The Rare tuna was great. read more

Six friends celebrated 3 Birthdays last night at Bonefish . Our waiter, Scott made our evening! He had great energy - he was very pleasant, helpful, and all of his suggestions with cocktails and entrees were spot on. During these hard times with Covid, it's hard to find good employees. We were very impressed with both Scott and the manager, who brought us chocolate chip cookies with happy birthday on the plate and a candle. All entrees were served together and were very good. All in all, it was a great evening made better by their courteous staff. read more

Some friends brought us to Bonefish Grill last night for dinner. The place was packed so I guess the food must be pretty good. We waited 15 minutes before we got our table and luckily we had a reservation. As soon as we sat down, we got our bread with a side of olive oil and Italian spices, very good bread. Our server was very friendly, we ordered our food and he suggested the fish, being in a seafood's restaurant. We ordered, the chowder, bang bang shrimps, the crab cakes, mussels, trout and I ordered the pork chop with fries. We unanimously agreed that the food was okay. My pork chop was overcooked and dry, I asked for medium but I was not, my fries were okay, personally I like shoestring fries and I don't understand why that by now all the restaurants don't serve them, they're the best! We saw our friendly server at the end of our meal, he never checked on us, except some guy who came at a certain point to see if we needed anything. The prices are very reasonable and that's why probably the place is packed. read more

We decided to try Bonefish Grill for brunch today. We noticed they had some new brunch items on their menu and their brunch menu overall looked really promising. The warm bread and olive oil was a great start. The service was very good as well. Now the bad. We ordered an omlette and lobster and filet benedict. The lobster was terrible--rubbery and flavorless and the quality of the steak was so low. The eggs that are supposed to be poached came out rubbery and burnt. How does this happen with a poached egg!? They were like plastic. Bacon was mostly fat and poor quality also. Omlette was tiny and lacked flavor. The experience overall reminded us why we prefer to stick to non chain, local restaurants. read more

wow... I have got to say the manager was great. I have been places where drinks have spilled all over me and no manager came to see me. I am so shocked at what happened on 12/18/18. I was eating dinner at the high top with my father. A older couple ( husband/wife) were to our left. The older man dropped his napkin and fell. My father helped him up. Him falling was no fault on the restaurant. Even so the manager came over and gave them a free bang bang shrimp coupon and a free dessert. The manager then came to us and thanked us for helping and gave us a free dessert. I love the food at Bonefish grill, and now i know the management is very good. Some places just don't care. I love when they have mahi mahi in. I always get blackened mahi with a side of mashed potatoes. I still love the mai tai's! Bang Bang shrimp is yum! read more

Horrible execution on Mother's Day evening. Kitchen was overloaded and they refused to sit reservations for 1 hour. They wouldn't even let us sit at a table. Confused, is what I would use to describe the waitstaff and my dining experience here. First off the decor here reminds me of a smaller version of the Cheesecake Factory with the lighting and the wall color. I notice that the demographics of Florida or specifically West Palm Beach aren't really active in Yelping - so I'm leaving with review not so much for the regulars (who probably don't use Yelp) but more so for the people visiting someone in the area. We had a group of 6 for dinner , made reservations for a Sunday evening with no problems. We were promptly seated in a booth, our waitress came over and took our drink order fairly quickly. The bread and pesto olive oil came out immediately after ,it was quite tasty. I love hot breads! We ordered and no joke , 40 minutes later my husband's salad came out and another 20 minutes everyone else got their entrees. I do understand that Florida moves at a different pace , but this was completely out of the norm even for my in laws . I don't know if it's normal for others to wait an hour to get their entrees here, but I have to wait it's the most (if not the only disappointing part of the meal) I had the fish tacos , which were not what I was expecting from the photos that I had seen here on Yelp (the photos of the tacos that were shown here on Yelp showed a hard taco) the tacos that were brought out were soft. It was still good, but not what I was expecting that's all. My father in law got his usual which was the Fontina Pork Chop and my mother in law got their BBQ Pork Chop. The BBQ Pork had a bit of a kick to it at the end , though my mother in law got sweet potato mash as her side I think rice would have been a better addition. My husband got their lobster , with their house fried potatoes (they are whole small fried potatoes - SO yummy - but I'm sure very unhealthy for you! Lol) For dessert we shared their donuts, it was a very interesting presentation because the donuts came out with two small squirt bottle of caramel and chocolate. I recommend putting a bit of caramel on it. Overall the food was good, however the kitchen needs to work out some sort of system to deal with the backlog. read more

Bonefish Grill - Fish tacos - Seafood Near Me - Lake Worth, Florida

We eat here at least once a month, and sometimes more. Five of us had dinner there Sunday night, and everyone enjoyed their food. The service was outstanding, The restaurant was not crowded Sunday evening so it was quiet and conducive to having nice conversations within our group. Bonefish, when crowded, can be raucous, but dining there last evening was an absolute pleasure. I find the prices very reasonable - my mahi dinner was inexpensively priced. My favorite dinner there is the Bang Bang Shrimp and Corn Chowder but calories and cholesterol don't allow me to indulge in those dishes very often. It's hard these days to find quiet restaurants where one can truly communicate with one's companions. Most restaurants, and even the nicer ones, feel that they have to turn the music up to such a high decibel level, the guest can't hear each other. That must be a generational preference but not one that I understand. Parking is convenient but the parking lot can get very crowded and be difficult to navigate. We look forward to returning soon. They have a fairly large non-seafood menu, so even carnivores will find menu offerings they like. read more
