Just plain awful! Hostess was so rude and snotty- chewing gum the whole time. We had a reservation at 6:15 for two (75% of tables were empty) upon arrival I requested a booth (I had a cane as I had recently had surgery) and she replied they were reserved but I pointed out most were empty and she put the menus on a small table by the door. It's been a long while since I have been to brunch, so it was a nice catch up. Bonefish offers a nice selection of beverages and menu items for it. You can make a reservation for the restaurant online through their website. We started out with a complimentary bread for a starter. The mimosa and the bacon and cheese frittata were delicious and wonderful. The frittata comes with a side of hashbrown potatoes. The portions are plentiful and I was full for the rest of the day. Our server was great and he checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything. The table was kept clean as needed and we had a great time experiencing the brunch. For the first time in years, we went with another couple to Bonefish Grill. This was our first time since moving to Florida three years ago. I was shocked when we walked in at 6 PM because the place was buzzing and unbelievably packed. They must be doing something right. I thought the ambience was great. And they even had live music. What a nice surprise that was. It was clean and the decor was fresh and modern. Mark was our waiter and he was attentive and very amicable. We sat in a booth, which made it a little bit easier to hear. The menu offers entrées which come with two sides. I got a nice salad for a couple of dollars more because it was packed with lots of good greens and vegetables. I then ordered the trout which turns out to be a very large portion. It was very fresh and delicious I couldn't stop eating it. I'm from the clean plate club. I also ordered the steamed broccoli with it. I do eat a lot of vegetables in my diet. Paul had the Chilean Seabass, but started off with a very hearty corn and crab chowder soup. I would've tasted it, but he ate it so fast I couldn't believe it. Our friends ordered the same thing. The restaurant offered some warm bread and pesto sauce gratis on the table to start. Paul also ordered the Chilean Seabass with mashed potatoes and broccoli. He enjoyed it very much. When we went to pay, they accepted an AARP card which allowed us 10% off our check. They also have a loyalty program which eventually will give me discounts if I continue to eat there. We opted to have dessert at our friends home so we skipped it here. Bonefish is consistent and very fair with their pricing. I have fond memories of Bonefish Grill and had been craving some bang bang shrimp. Last night my friend and I went out to eat here around 7:30pm. When we arrived it was busy, which we had to wait about 10-15 mins where we sat in the main dining room. It took a while for a server to greet us however it gave us ample time to look over the menu, which they were promoting spring specials. Once our waiter came over, we immediately ordered our dinner. We started with bang bang shrimp and I ordered the dragon fruit margarita which is part of their spring cocktail menu. It was made up of Patron silver, cointreau, citrus juice, and dragon fruit flavor. For starters, it was not shaken too much as they described, it tasted like the alcohol was on top and kind of thick tasting. It was not a smooth drink at all, I would've preferred to order a regular or skinny margarita. The bang bang shrimp came out fresh and hot. It was so good and transcended me into a daze. I had no complaints about the shrimp as it was perfectly fried, crispy, and doused in the bang bang sauce on a bed of lettuce. For dinner, my friend went with the stuffed soft shell crab and I went with the Rockefeller butterfish entree. My entree came with two sides where I picked seasonal veggies which were broccoli and garlic whipped potatoes. The butterfish is a black Cod and it was very silky and delicate. It was stuffed with spinach and jumbo lump crab that was fresh - not canned. There was a lemon butter sauce that paired very well with the fish. The potatoes had a good amount of garlic and were very light. The broccoli was steamed/par cooked and had a great crunch to it. One thing I did not like was that our waiter barely checked in on us during our dinner service. When he did, it was just to refill our waters. Also, one thing I did not like was that even though this isn't a fine dining experience, I don't think dogs should be allowed unless it's a service dog. There was a man who walked around with his fluffy dog and had patrons stopped in mid bite to stare as he took the dog with him to the bathroom. We were cracking up because it was not real life. Other than the service not being so good - I would recommend trying out the spring special menu as the options were different but very tasty. read more

We attend their 3 course brunch event with drink pairing...it was amazing and so worth it! We went with another couple and I completely forgot that neither of them eat shrimp, a disaster when 2 of the 3 courses was with shrimp! I also needed mocktails for myself asking if they could accommodate us. They were so wonderful to substitute chicken for shrimp for our friends, with mocktails for me. I did have to wait on my shrimp Benedict while everyone else had their food. Overall they hosted a fantastic brunch...I only wish if some dishes were a little hotter and if they could have waited or served all of us together rather than serve 3 out of 4 people. We usually look forward to our visit to Bonefish. We come here for many special occasions, and love their happy hours. But something was definitely off on this night. My wife, son and I went to Bonefish with a 5.30pm reservation, Christmas eve . We all ordered cocktails. my wife's martini , was served a little more than half full. All other martinis served around us was filled to the brim. My margarita was supposed to be with grand Marnier. I neither seen the Marnier or tasted it in my margarita. Tasted just like a regular drink. My son then ordered one, and said to the server, that has Grand Marnier in .right? His also tasted and looked just like mine. Maybe that's the way it is made. So I will not be ordering any more. During our time there, we noticed the table to the left us got served wrong dinners, and the table to the right got served wrong drinks. In the meantime, in my wife's last sip, she found a small piece of glass. She told the server, to let the bartender know ,in case they broke a glass. He just said, will do. I ordered the mahi Oscar. When server came by and asked if everything was alright, my wife laughed and said, everything except the glass and the tea spoon of crab meat I received. It was small. They should be embarrassed serving that dish. And for an upcharge no less. Not the best dining experience on this particular night. 3 stars because the food did taste good. Our server did seem a little overwhelmed, He did not seem to know where to go next. A couple of tables that arrived after us , left before us . I'm glad we finally got an opportunity to check out Bonefish Grill. It has been here forever and this was just finally our first time going. We arrived around 7:45 and had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. Our fault for coming at rush hour on a Friday night. The atmosphere inside is pleasant enough, albeit a bit congested. The best part of the visit was the food. And I suppose that's how it should be. I had the sirloin and shrimp with rice and broccoli and it was all cooked exceptionally well. Highly recommend it. The pumpkin ravioli was also tasty, though a little heavy. The service left a bit to be desired as we often went long stretches without seeing our waitress. I arrived around 5:00 on a Saturday night and was seated immediately. My dinner companion arrived a few minutes later. Our Server, Shanea, brought me a drink while waited. Magen my date arrived , Shanea welcomed her and explained the menus - regular & Summer Specials. We skipped an Appetizer and both ordered the Special Salmon w/Suracchi Glaze, Roce, Sautéd Spinach, and Broccoli. The meal was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately I suspect the food & drinks were off due to the staff concentrating on this large group. Mixed drinks we ordered were totally off. We ordered the Crab Cakes, Sirloin and shrimp and I chose to upgrade to a fillet mignon steak. The filet mignon was order medium & came out like dry leather. The manager came over and agreed the steak was well done. 5 stars goes to our awesome server Asif. He was beyond attentive, friendly, and helpful. He spoiled us, really, despite it being the final hour of business on a Sunday night with a packed house and people still waiting outside to get in, plus cars idling at the curb for pickups. Always a smile, a kind word or comment, and utter attentiveness til the bitter end with no indication of stress on his part at all (please, teach me your ways!!!). We were seated within 15 minutes of arrival, and I had called ahead of time to make sure they had room for us (since our 2 local picks were full with no reservations left). We got an end table with half chairs and half booth, which was perfect for our needs. The end table I think allowed us to talk to each other easily. Asif brought us our drinks right away and kept them filled and cold throughout the night; thank you! The bacon mac n cheese caught my eye immediately, so I was pleased when my entree included a side and I was able to upgrade to this option. Unfortunately, the pasta didn't taste very fresh to me and the sauce was not particularly creamy, so I wouldn't choose this again. Dear reader, I literally am writing this down in my reviews so I can help myself order next time! I had trouble deciding what to order and was leaning towards the poke bowl when I decided at the last second to go with the fish tacos. The slaw and crema combo sounded just right. I was envisioning them in a crispy shell but it was a soft shell and seemed more wheat then corn tortilla but I am not an expert. We haven't been here in a while since they removed our favorite Cod dish and also removed the "chubby potato" au gratin. We would still come in and get their specials from time to time and their happy hour was decent. Though they have not had bar bites since Covid. Tonight we sat at one end of the bar and waited for 2 seats to open up together. When we moved to the other end we sat and ordered a bang bang shrimp appetizer. After we ordered the appetizer another couple sat and ordered a soup, salad and 2 drinks. They received their food and drinks and consumed it then ordered a bang bang shrimp with no sauce. I have been to this location several times and had good good food, never disappointed. This time we had a party of 4 for brunch/lunch at 1pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was pretty empty. I can understand that without having the pressure of whipping out meals one after another, the kitchen gets a bit out of sync however I also feel that under those circumstances there was certainly time for better performance and scrutiny of what was being sent out of the kitchen. I want to keep this short, so lets say that out of four meals complete with appetizers and dessert, only one was without complaint. Grilled oysters were offered, which probably sat under the heat lamp until they had shriveled into the size of small peas, all dried up under a blanket of chewy oily cheese. Yum. The Frittata on the other hand was loose, undercooked and watery. Probably could have used a few minutes up there with the oysters to finish baking. BONE fish was the order of the day with a piece of trout so full of BONES it was practically inedible. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Oh, and finally what's up with charging the cost of a 6pack of soda for one beverage? Times are tough, but, seriously people. Server was fine. Halloween decorations were a great effort above and beyond the usual restaurant decor. I think the food deserved at least that much attention. Tonight was the second time I was at this particular Bonefish Grill. We had reservations for 5:45. When I arrived the place was very busy already! I asked for our table (I specifically asked for a TABLLE not a booth when making a reservation) and was told they only had a half table - -it worked but I wasn't happy that they didn't honor my request with my reservation. Moreover, after we were seated, the other two in my party saw us and had already been seated! Why didn't the hostess know that half of my party was already seated?????Poor communication. The food was very good - not my favorite fish restaurant but still good. The batter on the fish and chips didn't have much flavor but the mahi mahi and shrimp were very good. I also had the tuna poke bowl. The waitress was friendly and checked on us frequently. The lettuce under the shrimp was stale and blackened, not due to the shrimp! That's not good if you visibly see that and still put it in a bowl for a customer. The rice in the poke bowl also seemed a bit stale and hard in some parts as if it was sitting in a cooker for a long time. They used to be good, then got worse, then got good again and now literally the worst experience I've had in a long long time. I like this Bonefish Grill -- and most others in this chain. Each is a little bit different because of the staff and a few local variations in the menu and specials, but it is part of a chain. Outback Steak and Carrabas are the most well known other restaurants owned by the same company. That being said, I like Bonefish Grill the best of the group and when I first started eating there (at the one in Fort Lauderdale) I didn't know of it's connections. This Wellington/Lake Worth one has been here for some time. We've often dined here at the bar or in the bar area in the past and I was surprised I had not done a previous yelp review. I'm a member of their dine rewards club. It's free to join and after 3 times dining out, your reward is that the next meal is 50 percent off (up to $20). You also get notices of specials and featured items emailed regularly. We came here on a rainy evening and due to Covid, the actual bar was closed, but they still had high top tables nearby. We had excellent service. They start you out with a small loaf of baked bread and an herbed dipping oil. This is good to munch on while waiting for your main entree. The current menu is not as large as it used to be. The fish choices are limited. But they had trout here on their daily specials the night we dined and I was happy to try it. The trout was pecan Parmesan crusted -- very lightly -- and had some pieces of artichoke hearts and a lemon butter sauce on top. The trout was light in texture and delicious. For my 2 sides, I chose my go to -- jasmine rice -- and their seasonal vegetable of the day which was broccoli. The broccoli was a tad overcooked. The portion of trout was so large that I took half of my fish home. My husband had their grilled salmon. It comes in two sizes and he opted for the smaller portion. He had garlic whipped potatoes as his sides (twice). He said the fish was perfectly grilled and flavorful. I'm sure we will be back again -- and to other Bonefish Grills (we've been to ones in the Tampa and Orlando areas as well). They have good happy hour drink specials, too, for those that imbibe.
